"Day one of your job starts today sis, you ready?", Tyler Seguin asks his younger sister Kaylee, who is sitting in the passenger seat of Tyler's Chevy truck. She sighs and leans farther into the comfortable seat.
"I'm just a bit nervous that's all." She replies, turning to look at the streets of Boston rush by on their way to the Garden.
"Kaylee, my little reporter sister who I haven't seen since she got into BU, is NERVOUS?", he pauses, laughing lightly. "What in the world are you nervous about?"
"Just what if management hates me and the players all think I'm annoying!" She sighs deeper and throws her head into her hands, rubbing her temples. Tyler fully breaks down into laughter, pulling into the TD Garden parking garage. He turns to face his anxiety ridden sister.
"Hey look at me", he lifts her chin up to look him right in the eye. "They'll love you, what is there not to love about you! And if any of the players give you crap, let me know and I'll deal with it."
A hesitant, but wide smile breaks open on Kaylee's face, possibly illuminating the cab of the truck. Her smiles were always something special.
"Thanks Ty, I appreciate it. We better get going, I have my interview in ten minutes and you have practice in thirty." They both climb out of the truck, Tyler opening the trunk to grab his gear and Kaylee checking her small tote bag to make sure she has everything. Upon locking the car, the pair enter the elevator and get off at their respective floors, Tyler on the main floor and Kaylee on the third floor.
As calmly as she can, Kaylee opens the door to GM Peter Chiarelli's office.
"Hello, you must be Kaylee!", he stands up and greets her with a warm handshake. "Please have a seat."
Hesitantly, she sits down in one of the plush chairs facing Peter's desk. Shyly, she folds her hands in her lap and looks at the immense amount of paperwork layering the desk. Peter picks up a rather large file and opens it, pulling out a few papers to signal the beginning of the interview.
Meanwhile, Tyler changed into his gear and pulled a Bruins practice jersey over his chest protector. Grabbing his stick, he skates out onto the ice to join the rest of the team stretching on the spoked B.
"Hey man", Tyler stops to stretch next to his good friend Tuukka Rask, the goalie. Tuukka pulls up his mask and smiles.
"Hey, congrats by the way to your sister getting the job. She sounds like she deserves it, from what I hear from you", the goalie gets up and extends a hand to Tyler, all in good fun. Tyler laughs and gets up.
"She was nervous this morning, not that she really needs to be. But I will let her know that you thinks she deserves it", Coach Julien call for the team to bring it to the bench. "Lets go, Coach calls."

"Welcome to the Bruins family Kaylee! I'm positive that you'll love working here and you will be at every single Bruins game in the duration of the season.", Peter hands her the key to her office in the media department.
"Thank you Peter, I'll be here bright and early on Monday morning to get ready for the season opener!", Kaylee shook his hand and walked out of the office, feeling like a new person. Excitedly, she rushes into the elevator, praying for it to hurry up because she just needed to tell Tyler the wonderful news. As the doors opened to reveal the second floor, she sprung forward without looking ahead of her. Rounding the corner to the locker room door, she hit a brick wall. Falling to the floor hard, she looks up to see the Bruins goalie. He extends a hand towards her and helps her back to her feet.
"So sorry about that, didn't see you there!", he quickly apologizes and takes another glance at the poor girl he knocked over after exiting the locker room. Something looks familiar about her.
"Oh no, it's alright! I should've looked before running from the elevator. I'm Kaylee by the way, Tyler is my older brother.", Kaylee blurts quickly. Tuukka laughs lightly.
"I'm Tuukka. Congratulations on the job, Tyler won't stop talking about how proud he is of you.", he laughs again, this time out of nervousness. Kaylee smiles at the compliment and her cheeks turn red, causing her to stare at the ground. He stares at her for a few more seconds before Tyler bursts through the doors, wrapping his sister in a big bear hug.
"KAYLEE SEGUIN IM SO PROUD OF YOU!", he nearly shouts within the hallway, not noticing that Tuukka was in the hallway too. "We're going out to dinner tonight to celebrate, pick the place sis it's on me! "
The pair walk into the elevator, leaving Tuukka staring after Kaylee. He knows he shouldn't, but he does like that one off limits girl.
