What Kind of Job

James' POV.
Nothing much happened in the first period, there were chances on both ends but nobody scored.
April's POV.
I never really realized how good a goalie James was until now. His first save of the game was pretty remarkable and he's made some other pretty saves since then. He has descent stats, and all the sports casters say only good things about him. They say him being back is great news for the Leafs. I can see why they wanted him back as soon as possible.
James' POV.
Boston scored early in the second with a beautiful pass in front of the net. I couldn't get over in time to stop Krejci and he had an open net to shoot on. Soon after Grabo tied it for us but sadly it didn't last long. Another beautiful pass and it's behind me again, I'm a little pissed nobody's covering these Bruin guys when they get to our net.
April's POV.
It was an exciting game but the guys lost 4-1. James just couldn't believe the last goal, he sat on the ice in shock for a couple of seconds. They interviewed him after the game and he thought he did badly, he said the team played well but he could have stopped a couple of those goals. He also looked quite exhausted, his speech was slurred and it looked like he was falling asleep on his feet.
James' POV.
I didn't win a single game back in the first week which was frustrating! There were a few close calls (like the loss in overtime) but I just couldn't get the win no matter what I did. The second week I did get a win, I could have had a shutout but I got scored on with 2 minutes remaining and we won it in overtime. I was disappointed I didn't have the shut out but at least we got the win! By the third week we were winning often again and I was so happy, we didn't win every game that week but we won the majority. Next week and the final week of the month we play in Winnipeg. I hope I get the start, I want to play in front of my friends and family.
Aprils POV.
Mark and I came down to Manitoba with James for the Leafs vs. Jets game. Mark and James are from here so it's nice for them to see family. James' mother, sisters Amanda and Christy, and I are gonna be at the game. His father, brother Mark, cousin Eric, and best friend Andrew are going to watch the game at his parents house as a guys night thing.
James' POV.
I've been in this building many times to watch but this is the first time I'm here to play. This NHL thing is still getting more and more real. I get to see my friends and family and it's been awhile since if done that. It's a slow game to start but we get the first goal 14 minutes in. There was a face off in the Jets zone and they got possession. The pucks coming to my end so I get into position quickly. I see Wheeler coming right at the net, he's got the puck. He loses it and now he's really close to me, I know he's gonna run into me so I brace myself for impact. Then everything went black.
