It’s been a year since I have spoken to Tyler. I know, a lot has changed since our week in Wasaga. I fell pretty hard for him, and was pretty convinced we would keep in contact. But I guess not. We had stayed in contact and even saw each other and even saw each other before he went back to Boston, but once he went back, we never talked. I remember it all happening so quickly too, and I remember the last time we talked. He promised me that he would tell me how his flight was and if he landed okay. He never told me, though I knew he made it back okay, because I saw his tweets and his facebook updates and pictures of him partying everywhere. What a guy eh? But on a positive note all of my friends are happy. Brandon and Mackenzie are still really close and have been dating for 8 months. Natalie and Tyler Brown are dating and have been for 9 months. Jamie and Brad on the other hand have been dating since two weeks after Wasaga. Jamie and Brad genuinely do love each other, and they make things work. I admire them so much for that. She goes to Boston every chance she can, or goes to his away games when they are close by. He comes up here to see her whenever he possibly can, even if it’s for a day. They text all day, call on the phone and FaceTime whenever possible. She is so happy and I am thrilled that she found somebody to make her that happy. Though sometimes I wish that was me. I have had my days where I was curled up in bed crying, but I’ve been keeping myself busy with work. I work for my family’s event planning company, and I am currently the main receptionist. I graduated from college in April with a degree in business, and now I can work full time. It’s now late August and Brad is constantly over at Jamie and I’s house. Or she goes over to his. I feel a bit lonely while she is gone, but I rather that than listen to their crazy sex noises, God knows how loud they can be. I was on the couch reading a magazine when Jamie came in shaking off her soaking wet boots. “It is miserable out there!” “Hey, how was lunch with Brad?” “It was alright, I saw Tyler there,” I let out a groan. “Blah, how was he?” “He was okay, didn’t really see him for that long.” “Oh okay.” “So Brad asked me to a special date tomorrow night, said it was going to be special! I need a new outfit!” “We’ll go tomorrow when I get up, but for now I am tired,” I said getting up and fixing my shirt. “Kylie, you can’t try and avoid Tyler for the rest of your life.” “Yes I can, and I will, watch me!” “You know you’ll see him some other time.” “I can’t help it that I am hurt. It sucks what happened between us.” “But you’ll get over him.” “Oh I know, but what can ya do?” I asked doing a dance. “Oh my God, just go to bed.” “Night,” “night boo!” **The Next Day** “I’m engaged!” Jamie yelled busting open the door, holding up her ring finger. “Oh my God!” I squealed, “Congratulations!!!” “AHH!!! Thank you!!!” she squealed! Brad was standing in the doorway, smirking. “You actually put a ring on it!?” I asked him, “yeah, what can I say?” “I am so proud of you Brad!” “Thanks Kylie!” “So Kylie, can I ask you something?” “Sure,” “Will you be my maide of honor?” “OH MY GOD OF COURSE!” “And will you plan our wedding!?” “YES!” the two of us hugged each other and cried. After a bit of time to settle down Brad said, “come on, let’s go tell Tyler, he’s my best man.” Shit
