Hello Again

Bruins Game

Ever since that day with Tyler texting me we have been communicating nonstop. It feels like old times when he would be at a training camp for a few days and I was his little girl back home, only this time, I'm not his girl. It's now friday and I was really looking forward to the game tonight and to see Jamie. I was in my apartment getting ready to have Jamie over before the game. She flew in today at 9 and she spent the morning with her family. I was adjusting my sweater when I heard a knock on my door at the apartment.

I opened it and saw Jamie with a huge grin on her face. We looked at each other and screamed with joy, hugging each other like crazy. "I missed you!" she squealed, walking into her old apartment. "I missed you too!" "Nice to see you've changed everything around since I left," she said with sarcasm, sitting on her favourite seat in front of the TV. "Yeah, I've had so much time to do it ya know, especially when I am in Boston." I said plopping down next to her. "Is Bradely ready for the game tonight?" "Oh God yes. He's had is suit, correction, I've had to have his suit laid out for him since Tuesday. He wanted to be ready." "His parents coming down too?"

"Uhm, I don't think so. Normally if they are in town then I am usually in the same box as them and I am in a box with you and Brandon tonight." "Oh, Mack isn't coming with him?" "No, she's in with a heavy cold." "Oh that's not fun." "So who invited Brandon?" "Brad, cuz Tyler's family was invited and you so he didn't have any more tickets avalable." "Oh okay." "So you and Tyler eh?" she winked. "Me and Tyler what? I asked curiously." "He invited you to the game, he didn't even do that the first time, so what has been going on that he invited you this time?" "Well, he texted me and we started talking again. We are really being civil and it's shocking." "Is it friendly or flirty?" "Him flirty, me friendly, I don't want to get hurt again."

"Good and stay that way! But wedding plans, how's it going so far?" "Really really good, I've thought of some ideas based on what I know you like, and I have made a couple phone calls for numbers and information. I don't know what you and Brad exactly want but I know that you both said that you want it to be done as soon as possible, and with Brad's busy schedule you were thinking at te end of the season. So with that being said, have you thought of where you want to get married first and formost?" "Uhm, well, we were thinking of doing it in either Boston or Toronto, because he really wants the team to be there. We need to have him here to discuss it." "That's fine. So do you want me to come down to Boston and we can do it then?" "Yeah that's fine cuz I know we won't get anything done today." "Tell me about it."
After some girl talk and catching up, it was time to go to the game. I decided on rocking my bruins tshirt and my favourite beanie. I didn't want to get too dressed up since it was only a hockey game and I didn't want to draw attention to myself since we were sitting in a box. When we got to the Air Canada Centre, we ran into the friends and family section for the Briuns. Jamie was like a pro going around introducing me to everyone and catching up with some of the family members she has met.

I could overhear a couple of blondes and a redhead talking about me and Jamie. "So that's Brad Marchand's girlfriend," the one blonde said. "I think she's engaged to him actually," the other blonde said. "So that must be the girl Tyler Seguin invited," the redhead said with sarcasm, chewing her gum like a complete cow. I was very confrontational and I hate having to hold things in when I am dealing with idiots. "Do you hear them?" I wispered to Jamie. "What the two skanks and the hoebag?" she replied with a snicker, "they always try to hit on Tyler when he is in town." "I wonder if she sucked his dick in highschool too and that's how she got tickets to the game," the second blonde snorted. I could feel my hands shaking with anger and frustration. "Calm down Kyls," "It's girls like them that made me fight in high school." I'm pretty sure they heard me say that because they then walked away gawking at me. I hate girls like that.

When the boys flew onto the ice to warm up, I got a little excited. I have never seen the Bruins play before, let alone be invited to a game. We sat in our section, cheering the boys on until Brandon came over with a beer in hand. "Where the heck were you pretty boy?" I askedteasing him, as he hugged Jamie and I. "Oh I just ran into Tyler's parents and was held up, you two look cute," "Thanks Jdawg," Jamie smiled at him. "Jdawg? What the hell is that?" "Your new nickname silly. You look like a gangsta with your club shirt on and gold chain," he looked down at his body. "Oh, I came ready to go to the club afterwards," he grinned from ear to ear. "Oh, look out, we have a very single and badass guy over here," I laughed, "you gonna enjoy the night without your lady?" "Oh yeah, but, I got two of em now," he grinned, placing his arms around us. We just laughed and swatted away at him.

The whole game was extrememly intense and Boston was winning. Tyler scored twice, and come his thirs goal, he waved his hands up in the air telling the crowd to get out of their seats, while he jumped into the boards with his teammates celebrating. He also looked up in our direction and blew a kiss and flashed his million dollar smile. "Oh, look like that goal was for you Kylie," Jamie winked, clapping her hands. "Oh shut up, it was not." "What!?" Brandon asked. "Didn't you know, Kylie and Tyler are recindling their romance," Jamie said with an accent, leaning over me to look at Brandon. "WHAT!?" he asked. "No, we are not! He's been texting me all week, and invited me to the game." "Ohh! I see some sparks flying soon though," he winked. "Oh good grief," I laughed, rolling my eyes, enjoying the rest of the game.

The Bruins won 6-3 and the boys were ready to party. We walked back to the family and friends area and waited for them to come out. While each player walked out to their family and friends, for those who had some there, they screamed and ran to them. When Tyler came out, the older gentlemen there threw their hats at him, as they always do. Tyler laughed and handed them their hats back. He then went back to see his family first, talking to his parents and sisters. I prayed they wouldn't notice me, I didn't even want to say hello since things were so awkward. It was nice to see them, but their son was an asshole and I don't know what he told them.

He looked over and then walked over. "Brandon!" he did his handshake with him, then giving him a hug. "Jamie," "Oh my darling roommate that just won't leave," she joked. "You know you love me. Kylie," "Great game Ty, you played awesome!" "Thanks, I love your outfit," "Thanks!" "Whered you get that shirt?" he raised his eyebrow. Shit. He gave me this shirt. "Uhhh," "Don't worry about it. You guys coming to the club?" "Bro, I've been ready since I came," Brandon laughed, having another beer. "Alright cool, I'll see you guys when I get back from the hotel first, just gotta say goodbye to my parents." This night could not get anymore awkward could it?
