Morgan and Leslie are at the Penguins game since James invited them. Sometime during the second period play is stopped as there is an injured Penguin laying motionless next to the Rangers net for a few minutes. When the injured Penguin sits up Morgan and Leslie see that it’s James who is injured. The Penguins trainer comes out onto the ice to see if James is ok. Morgan can read James’s lips and tells Leslie he’s concussed.

Morgan - He’s concussed.
Leslie - How do you know?
Morgan - When the trainer got to James I read his lips and he said ‘What happened and where am I?’
Leslie - Oh my god look how woozy he looks when he finally got to his feet. If you want to go be with him lets go.

The girls make their way down to the locker room. By the time they get down there James is cleared to go home. James goes to his locker and changes clothes. Morgan finds him sitting in front of his locker holding his head.

Morgan - Hey, you ok honey?
James - My head really hurts.
Morgan - I’m sure it does. Come on honey lets go home.
James - Ok

Morgan helps James up and they find Leslie and leave the locker room. Morgan tells James to give her the keys to his car cuz she doesn’t want him driving home. James agrees and hands Morgan the keys. Before going home Morgan drops Leslie off at her apartment building. A little while later Morgan and James get home. They go inside and go up stairs. James gets ready for bed. He lays down on the bed and is asleep a few minutes later. Morgan goes into the nursery to give JJ a bottle. She feeds him for a little while and puts him back in his crib. She goes back into her and James’s bedroom to check on James. She lays down on the bed beside James. She gives him a kiss, wraps her arms around him, and goes right to sleep until the next morning. She wakes up and sees James is still asleep. She runs her fingers through James’s hair while she gives him a kiss.

Morgan - (Whispers in James’s ear) I love you so much James and so glad you’re going to be ok.
James - (Wakes up and sees Morgan smiling at him) I love you too.
Morgan - How are you feeling?
James - My head hurts and I feel like I’m in a fog.
Morgan - Just go back to sleep.
James - Will you stay with me?
Morgan - Of course I will sweetie. I’m not leaving your side.

James snuggles up to Morgan and goes right back to sleep. Morgan wraps her arm around James and goes back to sleep till later that night. James wakes up and gives Morgan a kiss.

James - (Nuzzles Morgan’s neck and whispers in her ear) I love you so much baby.
Morgan - (Wakes up to see James smiling at her) I love you too James.
James - I just wanted to tell how much I appreciate you taking care of me.
Morgan - It’s really no problem sweetie. I would do anything for you.
James - I know you would and that’s why I love you so much baby.
Morgan - (Gives James a kiss) I love you too.
James - (Smiles) What was that for?
Morgan - I just feel you need some extra love while you’re concussed.
James - Thanks baby it does help me feel a little better.
Morgan - Are you hungry at all?
James - Can you make me some of my favorite chicken soup?
Morgan - (Smiles) Of course I will if it’ll make you feel better.
James - You’re so great.
Morgan - I already knew that.

They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss. The continue to kiss until Morgan gets up from their bed and goes down stairs to heat up some chicken soup for James. As she’s heating up James’s soup she hears him come down stairs. James comes into the kitchen and wraps his arms around Morgan. They start to kiss again until Morgan tells James to set the table. He sets the table and lights a couple of candles. A little while later Morgan dishes up some soup for the two of them She joins James at the dining room table. As they’re eating James takes a hold of Morgan’s hand and smiles.

James - Thank you for taking such good care of me.
Morgan - Like I told you before baby I would do anything for you.
James - I know that and that’s why I love you.
Morgan - I love you too James.

James pulls out a ring box and sighs as he is very nervous with what he wants to ask Morgan.

James - You are the reason for my smile. The one who makes my life worthwhile. I wonder what would I be doing without having you in my life. I am glad I never have to worry about that. Every time I'm with you, I can't stop staring at you. And every time I'm alone, I can't stop thinking about you. Because the one who I really want to be with is you. The first time our eyes met I knew it was true, that I'd love you forever and that's what I'll do. I love the way you make me so happy, and the ways you show you care. I love the way you say, ''I love you'', and the way you are always there. Your cute smile and your happy laughter attracted me to you, but your caring loving heart is the reason why I want to spend the rest of my life with you. (Slips the ring on Morgan’s finger) What do you say honey? Will you marry me?
Morgan - (Smiles and cries) Oh James of course I will.
James - I was hoping you were going to say that.
Morgan - Of course I would. I love you James and nothing will ever change that.
James - I love you so much too baby.

They finish dinner. James helps Morgan clean up the table. James blows out the candles. They go over to the couch and start cuddling. Morgan fries up her game of Aveyond. As she’s playing James starts laughing as she’s yelling at the screen.

Morgan - (Yelling at the TV screen) Ouch you jerk. You’re going to pay for that.
James - (Laughs) Babe I’ve never seen you so fried up about a video game before.
Morgan - (Laughs and shoves his shoulder) Shut up James.
James - (Laughs) You’re so cute when you’re agitated.
James trying to distract Morgan gives her a kiss.
Morgan - (Laughs) No fair trying to distract me.
James - (Smiles) Come on baby stop playing and pay attention to me.
Morgan - Ok you win. You know my weakness is your smile don’t you?
James - (Laughs) Of course I know my smile is your weakness. It turns you putty.
Morgan - Come on lets go up stairs.
James - Now I like the sound of that.

Morgan saves her game and then turns off her laptop. Her and James go up to their bedroom. They lay down on the bed and start cuddling. James and Morgan start looking into each others eyes and start to kiss. James lays on top of her. The kissing continues when James starts kissing other parts of her body. She begins to moan lightly.

Morgan - Oh James. Oh god James.
James - Oh Morgan baby I love you.
Morgan - Oh James I love you too.
James - Oh baby you are so beautiful.
Morgan - Oh James do you really think that about me?
James - Oh baby of course I do. God baby I love you so much.
Morgan - Oh James I love you too.

The sex continues until Morgan orgasms. James gets off of her when she lays her head on his shoulder. James wraps his arm around Morgan while they cuddle. Morgan falls asleep a few minutes later. James smiles and gives Morgan a kiss as he runs his fingers through her hair. He sighs and then goes right to sleep until the next morning. It’s the next morning. James and Morgan are still asleep and still cuddling. James wakes up and gives Morgan a kiss.

James - (Whispers in Morgan’s ear) I love you baby.
Morgan - (Wakes up to see James smiling at her) I love you too.
James - Last night was pretty amazing.
Morgan - It sure was. Thank you for such a romantic night.
James - You’re welcome baby.
Morgan - How are you feeling honey?
James - My head still hurts a little.
Morgan - Did you need one of your pain pills for your headache?
James - Could you go get me one?
Morgan - Of course I will sweetie.

Morgan goes into the bathroom and gets James one of his pain pills his doctor gave him for his headache. She goes back into the bedroom and gives James his pill and a glass of water. A little while later James is sound asleep after his pain pill kicks in. Morgan wraps her arm around him and stays with him for a little while. She then hears the doorbell ring. She quietly goes down stairs and answers the door.

Leslie - How’s James feeling?
Morgan - His head still hurts from the headache he has.
Leslie - So I take it he’s asleep.
Morgan - Yeah he’s sleeping. His concussion doctor gave him some pretty strong pain medication for his headache to take.
Leslie - (Sees the purple diamond engagement ring on Morgan’s finger) Hon? Did James propose to you?
Morgan - What?
Leslie - I asked if he proposed to you since you have a very beautiful engagement ring on your finger.
Morgan - Oh right that. Sorry my head is a little foggy from my pregnancy. Yes he proposed to me last night.
Leslie - Aww, it’s ok. I’m so happy for you and James. So when are you two going to tie the knot?
Morgan - We don’t know yet. We may elope.
Leslie - Aww, there’s nothing wrong with eloping. So is James enjoying your new pregnant body?
Morgan - You could say that.
Leslie - I can watch JJ for you guys if you two want alone time while James is recovering from his concussion.
Morgan - That would be great. We need some time to ourselves.
Leslie - When was the last time you two had sex since you got pregnant?
Morgan - Last night was our first time in a while. He’s always scared he’s going to hurt me or our baby if we do. Until I told him he wasn’t going to hurt me.
Leslie - Aww, well why don’t you go up and get JJ and I’ll take him with me.
Morgan - Well ok.

Morgan goes up stairs to get some of JJ’s things. She goes up stairs one last time to get JJ and his stuffed animal that smells like James. Leslie tells Morgan to call her when James is starting to feel better and then she’ll bring JJ home. Morgan says she will and then goes back up stairs to check on James. She sees that he is still sound asleep. She lays down besides him, wraps her arms around him, and goes to sleep till later that night. A few weeks pass and James’s concussion symptoms are finally subsiding enough where he wants to start trying to skate again. Morgan wakes up and sees James has left for practice. She goes down stairs and fixes herself a quick breakfast. She finishes eating and then curls up on the couch and plays Aveyond until James comes home. James comes over to the couch and sits next to Morgan. Morgan saves her game and quits playing. James grabs her and pulls her close to him.

James - (Nuzzles Morgan’s face and gives her a kiss) I love you baby.
Morgan - (Looks up and smiles at James) I love you too.
James - (Places his hand on Morgan’s belly) Hard to believe you’ve been pregnant for 4 months already.
Morgan - You’re still going to want to be close to me when I’m showing more then I am right?
James - (Runs his fingers through Morgan’s hair) Of course I will. You ok honey?
Morgan - I’m just really tired.
James - Then just go to sleep baby.
Morgan - Will you stay with me?
James - Of course I will.
Morgan - I love you James.
James - I love you too baby.

Morgan lays her head on James’s chest and goes right to sleep. James grabs the blanket that’s on the couch and covers Morgan with it. He wraps his arm around her and goes to sleep till later that night. James continues to practice and the next week starts practicing with the team and is cleared to play in the Penguins final game of the season against the Hurricanes. It’s now the day before the game.
