Baggage claim was a bitch, to say the least. This is why Amalie hated airports. Too many stressed out people in one place.

“You alright there?” Mathias asked, walking next to his tired baby sister. Amalie nodded, rubbing her eye, trying not to mess up her make-up “Good, can’t have you falling asleep on Peter” Mathias smirked, adjusting his backpack.


“And Jonathan!” Cecilia sparked, wiggling her eyebrows and earning a glare from her boyfriend.


“Stop that, now when do those two arrive?” Mathias questioned, looking down at his watch.


“Should be here in half an hour, I texted Peter as soon as we landed and he said that he and Jonathan were on their way as soon as practice ended” She answered, looking around for their bags.


20 minutes later, they had finally gotten their bags and made their way out of the airport.


“I can’t wait to get some sleep” Amalie groaned, leaning her head on her brother’s shoulder.


“They’ll be here in 5, I don’t know how far away from here Peter lives though.” Cecilia assured, zipping up her hoodie.


“I thought it would be warmer here.” Mathias complained, running his hand through his hair. “Its Chicago, what do you expect?” Cecilia said, rolling her eyes.


“Yeah, they don’t call it the Windy City for nothing” Amalie smirked.


“Glad to see you joking, I thought we had forgotten the sassy Amalie back in Copenhagen” Mathias laughed, earning a punch to the shoulder by his sister.


“Stop it you two” Cecilia said, breaking up the fight between the siblings. “I spot a hockey player” She continued, wiggling her eyebrows, showing off her million dollar smile.


“Mathias?” Amalie said, pointing to her brother. Cecilia shook her head, “I also spot a hot brunette
with a great ass coming our way”


“Should I be worried that you’ll trade me for another hockey player?” Mathias pouted. Cecilia pecked him on the lips, “Naw, you’re the only hockey booty I want.”


“Now, you two break it up.” Amalie gently pushed her best friend away from her brother.


“I agree, lets keep it PG13” Peter laughed as he walked closer to the three, Jonathan right behind him.


“Peter!” Cecilia smiled, throwing her arms around her missed cousin.


“You’d think they haven’t seen each other in years” Amalie joked, looking at her brother.


“Now now, stop with the Danish. Poor Jonny here doesn’t have a clue what’s going on.” Peter grinned. “Hey Amalie” Amalie gladly walked into the arms of her childhood friend.


“Jonathan this is my cousin Cecilia, or Cil as we call her, her boyfriend Mathias, and his sister Amalie” He introduced them all.


“Nice to meet you, you’re the hockey player Peter has been talking about right?” Jonathan asked, shaking Mathias’ hand. “Sure am, we used to play on the same team, but I was traded a few years back.” Jonathan nodded, shaking hands with Cecilia next.


“Pleasure to meet you, Peter has told me loads about you.” Cecilia smiled, taking his hand.


“Only good things I hope.” He laughed. Cecilia nodded her head, “Only good things, I promise. This is my best friend, Amalie.” She said, letting go of Jonathan’s hand.


“Hello” Amalie said, taking his much larger hand in hers.


“Hey. Peter has showed us some of your videos, you’re hilarious” He said, smiling as he shook her hand.


“I’m glad you think so, but it’s nothing really.” She assured “Its nothing against what you do” She let go of his hand, putting her hand in the pockets of her hoodie.


“Yeah yeah, you’re both celebrities. Can we go now? I have a date with a bed” Mathias groaned. Jonathan laughed and nodded.


“Yeah, we’re parked over here.” Peter said, and took a hold of Cecilia’s luggage.


“Let me get that” Jonathan said from Amalie’s right. She looked up into his brown eyes.


“No no, it’s fi-“ She began, Jonathan shook his head.


“I’ll take it, you guys had a long flight.” He insisted, taking the suitcase from her hands. She sent him a smile, a small blush caressing her cheeks.
