Missy is upset and lonely since Jordan has left for a 3 game road trip. She decides to call Leslie to see if she can come over.

Leslie - Hey, what’s the matter?
Missy - Can you come over?
Leslie - Sure
Missy - Thank you

They hang up and Leslie heads over to Missy’s apartment.

Leslie - Hey, what’s wrong? You sounded upset on the phone.
Missy - I just don’t like being here by myself.
Leslie - Aww, where’s Jordan?
Missy - He left for the airport to go on a 3 day road trip.
Leslie - Aww, I can stay here with you if you want me to.
Missy - That would be ok.
Leslie - Aww, it’ll be ok he’ll call you soon.
Missy - Sure hope so.
Leslie - Aww, you really miss him don’t you?
Missy - You bet I do. I miss my Jordie bear.
Leslie - Aww, how cute that you have a pet name for him.
Missy - It’s not too cheesy is it?
Leslie - Aww, of course not.
Missy - Really want him to call so I can hear his voice.
Leslie - Aww, I know you do. How about I fix us a nice breakfast to keep your mind off Jordan not being here.
Missy - That sounds nice.
Leslie - Aww, you really want to be with him don’t you?
Missy - Yeah I do.
Leslie - Then go be with your man.
Missy - Really think I should go?
Leslie - Sure, he would be so happy to see you.
Missy - I would love to be with him but I don’t think I can stomach getting in a plane with the waves of nausea that comes and goes.
Leslie - Aww, then go back to bed for awhile. I’ll wake you if he calls.
Missy - Ok

Missy goes back to bed. She ends up sleeping till later that night when the phone rings. Leslie answer it right away so the ringing doesn’t wake her.

Leslie - Hey Jordan
Jordan - Hey
Leslie - You really need to talk to Missy.
Jordan - Why? What’s wrong?
Leslie - She really misses you. She’s been crying your name in her sleep.
Jordan - If she’s asleep already you don’t need to wake her.
Leslie - She is but I’m sure she wouldn’t turn down talking to you.
Jordan - Ok I’ll talk to her.
Leslie - Ok let me go give her the phone.

Leslie takes the phone into Missy so she can talk to Jordan.

Jordan - Hey baby
Missy - Jordie bear? Is that you?
Jordan - Sure is honey.
Missy - So good to hear your voice.
Jordan - Same here honey.
Missy - I really miss you Jordie bear.
Jordan - I miss you too baby. You ok sweetie?
Missy - I don’t feel that great. Wish you were here to take care of me.
Jordan - Wish I could come home and take care of you.
Missy - I love you Jordie bear.
Jordan - I love you too baby.
Missy - I took one of your t-shirts if that’s ok.
Jordan - Sure is baby.
Missy - It feels so strange sleeping in this bed by myself.
Jordan - I know it does baby but I’ll be home in a few days.
Missy - I know that
Jordan - Go back to sleep baby.
Missy - You’ll call me tomorrow right?
Jordan - Sure baby if you want me to.
Missy - I’d like that.
Jordan - I’ll talk to you tomorrow
Missy - Ok night sweetie.
Jordan - Night baby
Missy - I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too baby.

They hang up and Missy goes back to sleep. Leslie quietly comes into the room to check on her. She finds Missy is sound asleep and smiling. Leslie closes the door and goes into the guest bedroom and gets ready for bed.

Leslie - You sure look better. I guess talking to Jordan made you feel better.
Missy - It sure did. Hearing his voice is so soothing.
Leslie - I’m sure it is. Aww, are you wearing one of his t-shirts?
Missy - Yeah, he doesn’t mind.
Leslie -Aww, does it smell like him?
Missy - Yeah it does.
Leslie - Aww, I guess it’s better then nothing.
Missy - Is it silly to have dreams about him?
Leslie - Aww, of course not. You’re in love with a great guy. Still think you should go be with him since you’re feeling better.
Missy - That sounds nice.
Leslie - Aww, then go be with your man.
Missy - Ok I’ll do it.
Leslie - Aww, he’ll be so happy to see you.

Missy goes into her room, packs a bag, purchases a plane ticket, and heads to the airport. A few hours later she is in New York. She tracks down here the team is staying. She finds Jordan’s rooms. She knocks on the door hoping Jordan is there. Jordan wakes up from his nap, answers the door, and finds a big surprise.

Jordan - Missy? Honey? What are you doing here?
Missy - I had to come see you.
Jordan - I’m glad you did. I’ve really missed you.
Missy - I’ve missed you too.

Jordan wraps his arms around Missy holding her close.

Jordan - Why don’t you come in and join me for a nap.
Missy - That sounds nice.

Missy and Jordan go into his room. Missy puts her bag down and joins Jordan on the bed.

Jordan - So glad you came.
Missy - I had to. You’re the only thing that makes me feel better. Hearing your voice last night made me so happy and I believe it made me feel better.
Jordan - Glad you’re feeling better honey.
Missy - I love you so much Jordie bear. (Lays her head on Jordan’s shoulder)
Jordan - I love you too honey.
Missy - Feels nice holding you right now.
Jordan - It sure is. I couldn’t sleep last night without you by my side.
Missy - Aww, really?
Jordan - You bet honey. I know I’ve been on the road before for games but you’d always come with me. This was the first time we’ve been apart since we started living together.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet.
Jordan - It’s the truth. I love you so much.
Missy - Aww, I love you too. (falls asleep in Jordan’s arms)
Jordan - Sweetie? You asleep babe? (Notices she is sound asleep)

Jordan wraps his arms around Missy holding her close. He then goes right back to sleep. They stay like this till Jordan leaves for his game later that afternoon. Her cell then rings.

Leslie - Aww, hon, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to wake you.
Missy - It’s ok.
Leslie - Aww, you sure sound happy.
Missy - It’s so nice being here with Jordan.
Leslie - Aww, I bet is.
Missy - I wish you could have seen the look on his face when he opened the door.
Leslie - Aww, I bet he was so surprised to see you.
Missy - You could say that.
Leslie - Aww, he must really love you.
Missy - I know he does. He said he couldn’t sleep last night.
Leslie - Aww, why? Cuz you weren’t there with him?
Missy - Yeah, he’s like me that way not liking to sleep alone.
Leslie - Aww, I hope you got to snuggle with him before he went to his game.
Missy - Yeah, we were taking a nap together.
Leslie - Aww, hon, what’s the matter?
Missy - I wish he wasn’t at his game right now.
Leslie - Aww, you want more alone time with him don’t you?
Missy - Yeah I do but I guess that’s the hormones making me want him.
Leslie - Aww, have you two even had sex since you got pregnant?
Missy - No, anytime we try to I get sick plus Jordan thinks he’ll hurt me or our baby if we do.
Leslie - Aww, that’s sweet that he puts you first. You two at least hold each when you snuggle right?
Missy - Yeah we do. I guess it’s better then nothing.
Leslie - Aww, he loves you there’s nothing to worry about.
Missy - I know he loves me.
Leslie - You should surprise him when he comes back. Put something sexy on and I bet he’d be all over you.
Missy - That’s a good idea.
Leslie - I should go I need to do some running around.
Missy - Ok talk to you later.

The girls hang up. Missy waits for Jordan to come back to the room. He comes back to the room later that night and finds Missy in the bed.

Jordan - What are you still doing in bed?
Missy - Waiting for you to come back.
Jordan - Well I’m here now.
Missy - Why don’t you join me?

Jordan goes over to the bed to join Missy. He gets under the covers and notices what Missy is wearing.

Jordan - What’s this?
Missy - Surprise for you. I wanted to look sexy for you.
Jordan - You don’t have to do that. You’re already sexy enough for me.
Missy - I just figured if I wore this you’d want to make love to me.
Jordan - Of course I do but I don’t want to hurt you or our baby.
Missy - You’re not going to hurt me.
Jordan - You sure?
Missy - I promise you won’t hurt me or the baby.
Jordan - I love you so much.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.
Jordan - How did I get so lucky to be with the most beautiful woman in the world?
Missy - Aww, do you really think that about me?
Jordan - Of course I do. I thought you were beautiful the day I met you and I still think that now. I’m so lucky to be with a girl like you.
Missy - Aww, that is so sweet. I’m the lucky one having a pro athlete as my lover.
Jordan - Sweetie, you don’t have to be the model type for me to love you. I love you just the way you are.
Missy - Aww, that really means a lot Jordan.
Jordan - I meant it.
Missy - I love you Jordie bear.
Jordan - I love you too.

Jordan wraps his arms around Missy holding her close. They begin to kiss. They continue to kiss until they’re making love to one another. They continue making love to one another until Missy starts to moan lightly. This lasts the rest of the night until they fall asleep in each others arms. They stay like this till morning.

Missy - (Wakes up and whispers in Jordan’s ear) I love you.
Jordan - (Wakes up and sees Missy smiling at him) I love you too.
Missy - Jordan?
Jordan - Yeah honey?
Missy - Thank you
Jordan - For what?
Missy - The amazing night last night.
Jordan - You’re welcome honey.
Missy - I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too.
Missy - Shouldn’t we be getting ready to leave?
Jordan - Yeah, but I wanted to hold you a little longer.
Missy - Aww, I have no problem with that. I’m just glad my baby belly doesn’t stop you from wanting to be close.
Jordan - Honey, you’re not fat you’re beautiful.
Missy - Aww, do you really mean that?
Jordan - Of course I do. I love your little baby belly.
Missy - I love you so much Jordie bear.
Jordan - I love you too honey.

Missy and Jordan kiss for awhile before they get out of bed and go take a shower together. They get dressed, pack up their things, and join up with the team. A few days pass and they’re back in Pittsburgh. Missy and Jordan track down Jordan’s Escalade and head for home. Missy falls asleep on the way home. They get home and Jordan picks up Missy and carries her to the apartment. He then carries her to their bedroom and lays her down on the bed. Jordan lays down on the bed beside her and wraps his arm around her. He puts the blanket over her. He watches her sleep for awhile until he falls asleep till very late that same night.

Missy - (Whispers softly in Jordan’s ear) I love you.
Jordan - (Wakes up to see Missy smiling at him) I love you too honey. How you feeling sweetie?
Missy - I think I’m feeling a bit better. The nausea comes and goes. I’m sure I’ll be battling this the whole time.
Jordan - Just go back to sleep.
Missy - Only if you stay here with me.
Jordan - Of course I will. I won’t leave your side baby.
Missy - Thank you for taking care of me.
Jordan - It’s no problem honey. I would do anything for you.
Missy - And that’s why I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too sweetheart.

Missy Lays her head on Jordan’s shoulder and goes right back to sleep till the next morning.

Missy - (Wakes up and finds Jordan making them breakfast. She comes up behind him and wraps her arms around him.) Aww, you making us breakfast?
Jordan - (Smiles) Sure am baby.
Missy - You don’t have to do this.
Jordan - I know but I want to.
Missy - You like spoil me don’t you?
Jordan - Of course I do but that’s cuz I love you.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.
Jordan - Why don’t you set the table sweetie?
Missy - I can do that.

Missy sets the table. Jordan then joins her. He then takes a hold of Missy’s hand.

Jordan - I love you so much.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.
Jordan - So glad you’re feeling better.
Missy - It’s all thanks to you honey.
Jordan - Baby, I would do anything for you. I hate seeing you so miserable.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet.
Jordan - I meant it baby.

They get done eating and go over to the couch and start snuggling until Leslie walks in on them.

Leslie - I’m so sorry you two. I should have known you two wanted to be alone.
Missy - It’s ok just be glad we were only snuggling.
Leslie - Aww, you two deserve some time alone. Nice seeing you with a guy who actually loves you.
Jordan - I would never hurt Missy. Anyone who does is a loser.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet Jordan.
Jordan - I meant it.
Leslie - Aww, you two are so prefect for each other.
Missy - Really?
Leslie - Aww, you bet I think that. He makes you happy and that’s what matters. Aww, and look at that little belly you have.
Missy - Makes me look like I’m further along then 2 months.
Jordan - But you’re still beautiful.
Missy - Aww, that’s really sweet Jordan.
Jordan - I meant it.
Leslie - (Laughs) Ok you two I’m still here you know.
Missy - Sorry
Leslie - Aww, it’s ok. There’s nothing to be sorry about. You two are in love with each other. I’ll just go home so you two can be alone.

Leslie leaves just then Missy and Jordan go back to snuggling some more.

Jordan - I love you so much honey.
Missy - I love you too Jordan.
Jordan - I’ve been doing some thinking.
Missy - About what sweetie?
Jordan - Marrying you
Missy - Aww, whatever for?
Jordan - I don’t want to wait any longer.
Missy - Aww, you sure you want to do this?
Jordan - Missy, honey, we’ve been together for 8 months and have been living together since September. I think we’re ready. I love you with all my heart. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
Missy - Aww, that is really sweet Jordan. I do have to ask when do you want to do this.
Jordan - This summer.
Missy - Aww, we’ll see how I’m feeling then.
Jordan - You’re right I wasn’t thinking. It was a stupid idea.
Missy - Aww, it’s not a stupid idea. I want to marry you honey. I love you so much. I want you in my life for a very long time.
Jordan - You do?
Missy - Of course I do Jordan. I love you with all my heart. You are an important part of my life.
Jordan - I love you too honey.

They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss. Jordan picks Missy up and carries her to their bedroom. Jordan lays her down on the bed. He lays down beside her. They continue to kiss until they’re making love to one another.

Missy - (Lays her head on Jordan’s shoulder) I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too baby.
Missy - I’m sure I’ve told you this before but you’ve got the prettiest blue eyes.
Jordan - (Smiles) Really?
Missy - You bet sweetie. I could stare in them for hours.
Jordan - Same way I feel about your emerald green eyes.
Missy - Aww, I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too honey.
Missy - Hope you don’t mind me wearing your t-shirts while I’m pregnant.
Jordan - Of course not honey.
Missy - My clothes don’t fit anymore with the baby belly so I figured I could wear your shirts.
Jordan - It’s ok honey. Just go to sleep baby.
Missy - You’ll stay with me right?
Jordan - Sure honey if that’s what you want.
Missy - Of course I do.

Missy is sound asleep. Jordan wraps his arms around Missy holding her close. He goes right to sleep. They stay like this till later that evening.

Jordan - (Wakes up and whispers in Missy’s ear) I love you honey.
Missy - (Wakes up to see Jordan smiling at her) I love you too Jordie bear.
Jordan - You sure were snuggling close.
Missy - Sorry I was cold.
Jordan - Nothing to be sorry about.
Missy - I’m getting hungry sweetie.
Jordan - I can go get us something if you want me to.
Missy - That sounds just fine.
Jordan - I’ll be back.
Missy - I’ll be waiting for you.

Jordan gives Missy a kiss and then leaves to get them dinner. He comes back a short time later. He finds her sitting on the couch smiling at him.

Jordan - (Sits on the couch beside Missy and takes a hold of her hand) I love you honey.
Missy - I love you too Jordie bear.
Jordan - How you feeling?
Missy - I’m really sleepy.
Jordan - Then we should go to bed after we’re done eating.
Missy - That sounds ok.
Jordan - We can snuggle all night if you want to.
Missy - Now I really like the sound of that.
Jordan - I figured you would honey.
Missy - How about you join me for a shower before bed.
Jordan - I like that idea.
Missy - I love you Jordie bear.
Jordan - I love you too honey.

Missy gets up off the couch and goes into the bathroom to heat up the shower. Jordan hears the water running and joins Missy in the shower. Jordan wraps his arms around Missy holding her close. They begin to kiss. They continue to kiss until Missy turns off the water and their back in their bedroom. They get ready for bed, get under the covers, and then Missy lays her head on Jordan’s shoulder and goes right to sleep. Jordan wraps his arm around her and goes to sleep. It's now the middle of July.
