Alive [CONTINUED]

Forty Five

Kristen laid in her bed, scrolling away on her phone. She was sick and wasn't in the mood for anything. She saw a text notification pop up from Felicia. She was rambling about Jeff and Kristen didn't have the patience to deal with it currently. She had a bunch of texts coming from her friends but she didn't bother with them.

She almost didn't answer the door when she heard the bell ringing. She knew her mom would flip if she didn't. She let out a growl before she rose from her bed. She slowly walked down the stairs. She had her hair up, her face natural, and she was wearing a grey sweater on grey sweats. An unintentional track suit.

She opened the door with a deep breath. She rolled her eyes before looking to the person in front of her. Beau stood in front of her. He had a grin on his face. Her eyes trailed down him. He had a dark grey sweater on with khakis on. His hands were in his pockets and as her eyes trailed, she let out a groan. He was in his damn flip flops again.

"Nice track suit." He teased.

"Sick mandals." She shot back.

He laughed before he stepped forward and pecked her lips. She walked in and he followed, closing the door. She guided him to her room where she dropped face down in her bed. He stood at the end of it. She rolled over and frowned at him. He just smiled at her.

"Lay with me." She whined.

"I need to do something first." He explained. He pulled his hands from his pockets.

She narrowed her eyes at him. He tossed something to her. She caught it, realizing it was a puck. She furrowed her brows and looked up at him. He nodded at it. She looked it over and saw writing. She read what it said.

"Just like the ice I play on, you're pretty cool. Prom?" She read aloud. She flipped it over. "Hopefully I have better luck scoring with you than I do on the ice." She looked at him, shaking her head.

He smiled. "So what do ya say?"

"Obviously I'll go to prom with you, asshole." She rolled her eyes, throwing the puck at him.

He walked over to her, dropping down on her bed. He pulled her into a kiss before she pushed him away. He frowned but she just wrapped her arms around his torso. She cuddled into him and called it a day.

The next night, the Bulldogs had a game. The girls sat in the stands near the change room doors. Morgan, Val, Olli, Eddie, and Matt were busy inside getting their stomachs painted. It was part of Jeff's promposal. He would have the five walk out with it written across their bodies. He'd walk out ever with the flowers he bought Felicia and his smile across his face. There wasn't a way she could say no.

They finished and filed out in order. The girls looked over as the five came out shirtless. They turned to face the girls and the letters became clear. Felicia, Ainsley, and Selena looked amongst each other. They were the only three who hadn't been asked. Felicia felt her heart stop as Jeff walked over with a bouquet. He stood in front of her.

"Felicia, would you ple,"

She cut him off by kissing him. Her head nodded 'yes' as he kissed back. The guys all cheered. Jeff and Felicia finally pulled away as Sid called for all the guys to get back in the change room. Ainsley glared at Sidney from her spot. He furrowed his eyebrows and walked as far as he could in his skates.

"Come here." He called her over.

She shook her head. "No, you suck."

"Baby!" He hollered in the annoying voice he always made. She growled but walked over to him. "Why do I suck?" He whispered as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"You and Jon suck!" She yelled. "All the other girls have been asked but here sit poor little Selena and Ainsley, rotting as they wait for their boyfriends to finally ask them to prom."

Sid laughed. She smacked his chest. "You'll get asked. Just be patient."

"So will you so shut up!" Jon told Selena.

"Do I even want to go with you?" Selena challenged.

"I got a pretty sick promposal in motion so," Jon shrugged.
