Caroline stood there as Jonathan Toews went to center ice to raise the cup on top of his head, she was shocked, and motionless. Her brother just won the cup. Her brother won the cup last year. She loved Brady and Tucker and she loved that they were having successful careers but she felt protective of Brendan in a way, her hand in his as a security blanket. She was the closest to him, they were Brend and Care, they were pure Rangers at heart and she felt sad because she knew how much he wanted that cup, how careful he was not to kiss it when his father won it or when Brady brought it home last summer,he wanted the Rangers to win it, she wanted the Rangers to win it. "I am okay." Brendan said as he released her hand to go hug his mother in her Chicago Thomas Jersey. "He's hurting." Michael said intertwining his hand with hers. "And you are too." She knew people were going to write articles about how Brendan was the only other Thomas not to win the cup, and that his sister was going to win it before he did. She smiled as she saw Tucker, 19 year old Tucker raise the cup tears in his eyes, there was tears in her eyes for other reasons, she wanted to win it so badly, and she knew she was going to get the Opportunity.

While they were in Minnesota enjoying the relaxing weekend before they had to go to Philly, Glen Sather called her the GM of the Rangers saying that if she worked hard for the Whale, he and their team were going to most likely draft her in the '12 draft, she had two more full seasons before that and she was going to work her hardest to earn that draft pick. "I hurting for him because he has to hold it in for Brady and Tucker." She said leaning her head on Michael's shoulder. "That's why you don't wear 6 inch heels on the ice, when you've never walked on ice before." She muttered. Stupid girls. She could walk on ice in 6 inch heels but she wasn't a complete moron. She look good in her real Men's Thomas Chicago jersey the number 94 under it, the year the Rangers won the cup, not the fake jerseys that fit the girlfriends in the way that skinny jeans plaster your thighs. She wore Jeans and Brown leather riding boots, now that's an outfit to wear to a hockey game not a fake jersey over a dress with sky high heels. Brady's number was their dad's number 8, hers 94 and Brendan's 88 as a tribute to their dad and the year he won the cup with Edmonton, all tributes to Marcus who got them there. Tucker skated over to her picking her up as she faked a smile. "Lift it over your head Care!" Tucker had opinions, his opinion Caroline would never be in the NHL. "No, I am good. I'll wait my turn." She said kissing him on the cheek as he skated away moody with her. "Let's get out of here, let my brothers, and your brothers enjoy the cup, the four of us have unfinished business here and I don't feel like enjoying the win with the blackhawks, let's grab a bite." Marc Staal said grabbing Brendan as they tried to leave the Wells Fargo arena quietly, they all felt defeated just like the Flyers, they wanted the cup, they weren't done vying for it.
