Five Minutes For Fighting (Completed)

Caroline stretched on the ice next to Ryan Bourque and Stu Bickel as they warmed up for the first day of Training Camp. She couldn't believe the hockey season was back, so much had happened in the last year. So much shit happened since she was back on this ice last year. Derek was not here anymore, Ryan and Kyla got married and were expecting a little Callahan. Marc and Lindsay were finally married. Everything was falling into place except Caroline's hockey career. She was getting better and better every year. Growing stronger, instead of taking hits giving hits, competing at such a level that the Rangers were signing or trading for other team's top prospects just so they can give Caroline line mates that were on her level. She was an Alternate Captain, she never thought she would be but when she walked into Coach G's office this morning she was named one of the new ones. She was shocked. "Do you think we're gonna make the team?" Stu said trying to say it without laughing hysterically. "I don't know maybe we'll get cut and have to go to the ECHL." They both laughed. Stu was needed. They needed a rough housing defenseman who stood up for his teammates especially Caroline. She was some team's punching bag. Guys thinking if they take her down, their NHL team would notice and bring them up. That happened rarely. Kris Newbury their captain skated over to the three of them laughing. "Ya know you all look so comfy." Here it comes. "Act like Vets." He said in a dark tone to Caroline and Stu giving Ryan a pat on his leg with his stick. "What's up his ass?" Stu said whispering. "He's all upset he didn't make camp." She said. The three had been cut yesterday. She knew she was going to be, duh she couldn't play. Torts just liked her up there for Training Camps to get some experience in. "So..." Caroline laughed. Kris had to get over it.

After a couple hours of Conditioning Drills and Puck Possesion drills Coach G and Coach B called the day and started team meetings with the guys who they already knew was coming back. Asking what they of the rookies. "Care are you driving back to the city?" Christian Thomas asked as Caroline grabbed her duffel fixing her white shorts. "Yup want a ride?" He nodded. They walked over to her Range Rover as her phone beeped. She threw her duffel into the back seat and looked at the text. "Reservations at Nobu tonight, get home fast." Michael knew how to make her smile. A little sushi is all she wanted right now. She opened the drivers seat and got in as Christian made his way to the Passenger Seat. "So how does your dad feel about you being a Ranger?" She asked practically laughing. Christian's dad Steve was an Islander and back when their dad's played the Rangers and Islanders Rivalry was cutthroat. "He's not the Happiest but he has to deal with it." Their dad's were friends who made sure that Caroline would show Christian the ropes. "How did you afford this car? We only get like 50k a year, and this is more then that." Christian said checking out the Lavender custom interior that her family got for her 17th birthday a little early. "Early Birthday present from the Fam and the Rangers squad." She said smirking. She loved her new white Range with all her heart. He shook his head laughing. "Let's get back to the city." She said as she turned out of the Whale Training Center and back to the city.

"Traffic sucked." Caroline said as she and Christian walked into the apartment. The guys asking what took so long. "How did you get here so fast?" Caroline said to Stu and Dylan Mcilrath, a Whale defenseman who was going to make the team. Dylan, Caroline and Christian were good friends so when the guys needed some place to live she offered up a free room. Derek and Marian weren't in the apartment anymore. And they needed more roommates to make the apartment happy again. "I sped, you guys were so lagging." He said as she got up from their dining room table. The guys had ordered in Lombardi's and she could smell it a mile away. She smirked as Michael came down the stairs looking hot in Khaki red shorts and a White V neck. His flow getting so long. "Hey you." He said walking over to her and kissing her. "Such a long day." She said as she melted into his body, her arms around his neck. "I know but go get your ass ready we have to leave soon." She didn't want to move from this position. "Fine." She said in a upset tone as she kissed him one more time before heading to her room. She walked in to see Carl there in a towel skyping with Erica. "Can you please put clothes on." She said laughing as she walked into their closet locking the door. She threw her Whale Rebook tee shirt into the hamper, her Sports Bra and Nike Shorts coming in next. She changed into her cute lace La Perla bra putting on a cute Maxi Dress from Vineyard Vines it was white and blue and was adorable with a Bow in the back that tied the dress together. She knew Michael would love to take it off her tonight. Thanks to Marc and Lindsay getting married he now had his room to his self. Alone time. She grabbed her gold Jack Rogers and her Celine bag and waved goodbye to Carl who had his earphones in.

"Damn." Michael said almost falling off the end of the couch as she walked out. "I know." She smirked as she walked up to him and kissed him, his arms wrapped around her waist. "Can you guys do this out of the apartment?" Brendan said making a throwing up motion. "Fine." She said grabbing his hand and leading him out of the apartment. "You look so hot." He said as they waited for the elevator. She stood in front of him as his arms stayed around her waist, he kissed her neck as she laughed. "Hey guys..gross!" Ryan Callahan said as he opened up his apartment door and slammed it at the sight of the two of them. "Bye Uncle Ryan." She said loudly as the Elevator door opened and they walked in closing it behind them. Michael pressed Caroline up against the wall as he kissed her, their bodies melting together into one heap of hotness. Their makeout session getting a little R rated as they waited for the elevator to open into the lobby. "I could so do you right here." He said breaking away from her to stop himself. "Same." She said smirking as she grabbed his hand intertwining hers into his. "Hey guys!" Kyla said as the Elevator opened. "Hey K." Caroline said smiling as they walked out of the their apartment building. She loved that practically all the Rangers lived in the apartment building but it was a little cramped and a little annoying seeing everyone all the time. They begun their make out session again by the door when Ryan McDonagh and Derek Stepan walked in, groceries in hand. "Seriously guys." They both said as they broke apart. "No Privacy." He said shaking his head. "Haha new Season same antics." She smiled kissing him. She couldn't wait for a private booth at Nobu.
