Five Minutes For Fighting (Completed)

Caroline was helping Michael and John pack up their stuff into boxes as Carl Hagelin came knocking in. "I am about to go guys." Caroline's stomach sank. "Can't you stay for one more day?" She said walking over to him. "You know I can't, I have to go back to Sweden and see my family, and my girlfriend and my friends." Caroline was so absorbed in her own life she forgot Carl had a life back home in Sweden. "You know the door is always open for you right?" She told him as he nodded. "You know I'll visit Thunder Bay and I def want to visit Minnesota and see Bicks and dumb and dumber." He said kissing her forehead. He was referring to Ryan and Derek and she loved it. "Okay love you Carl Swedelin." She said laughing. "Love you guys." He said to Michael and John as he grabbed his stuff as his boxes were already shipped to Sweden.

"We can't go back to Thunder bay tomorrow." Michael said turning to face her. "Why not?" She said. All she wanted to was jump into the lake, do shots and kiss Michael for hours. She and hockey needed a little tiny break. "Your brother has tickets for us at will call. For tomorrow. For the game tomorrow. At the CEC." He said making her moan and hit herself with a pillow. "Why can't we just go to the cup final games after they beat the Bruins." She said whining. "Because he supported us last year and we really should support Brady and LC." She still couldn't believe her brother was married to Lauren Conrad. "Fine, Fine. I have no idea why you want to marry into all of my craziness." She said standing up and kissing him. "Because I love your craziness. And I can do this." He picked her up and threw her onto his bed gently as he hovered over her, them making out. Her hands under his shirt as she was about to take it off. "Guys, excuse me?" John Tavares said covering his face with a pillow so he didn't have to see his best friends doing each other. They broke away from each other laughing. "Oh Calm down JT." She said laughing leaving their room.

"Me and steps are making a Georgetown Cupcake run, want anything?" She said to them from the hallway "A boxes of 6 cupcakes." John said throwing his credit card at her. "You know the kind I like." He rolled over onto his side. "Johnny what's the matter?" She said grabbing the credit card off the floor. "I am fine." He said. She knew what the problem was, she had it last year when she played for the Rangers. Once you start playing in the playoffs you want more, and when the Islanders lost to the Penguins in 6 games in the first round it crushed John's heart. "You want anything babe?" She said asking Michael as he taped up boxes. "A coffee would be good, and a cupcake. Maybe I can actually finish all of our packing tonight." He said smirking at her. "Okay! I'll put everything on John's credit card..." She said silently laughing with Michael hoping John would notice and turn into his old self but he didn't answer. So she would do it, that boy needed to snap out of it, she was worried.

She walked downstairs to the sight of Derek Stepan waiting for her by the door. "Your late." He said to her as he opened the door. "Sorry!" She said slipping on her jack rogers as they went across the street to Georgetown. "Oh hi Caroline! Derek!" Sophie the part owner of Georgetown said as they walked in. "Soph! Why are you in NYC?" She said cheerfully. "You know checking up! Want your usual?" Sophie said going over to the cupcakes. She nodded. She couldn't believe everyone was going home in the next few days. She felt like it was just yesterday they were moving in. "We were so rooting you guys on!" Sophie said laughing. She laughed. They were from the Washington DC Area, they were not rooting them on. "Haha well thanks Soph for the cupcakes!" She said paying for the many boxes of cupcakes and cups of iced and regular coffee, sipping hers fast. "No problem, have a good day guys!" She said as Derek opened the door for her.

"That was so fake she was so wasn't rooting for us." Derek said as they crossed the street back to the apartment building. "Oh calm down Derek, who cares. She makes good cupcakes." He opened the door to their lobby as they both got onto the elevator and went up to the apartment. "I'll miss you Care." He said smiling at her. "Shut up I'll see you soon asshole." She laughed. She'll miss seeing Derek everyday too. "CUPCAKES AND COFFEE." She yelled as they entered the apartment, all the boys coming out of their rooms. Who could resist? "Thank god." Brian Boyle said chomping into a Chocolate Birthday Cupcake. She couldn't help but sit on the couch and cuddle up to a pillow. She was going to miss this place. She smiled at the wall to her right. Her parents made it the New York Ranger wall. The past Rangers who lived here had their picture on the wall with their autograph and them saying something about this apartment and the tradition. The wall was filled up with Henrik Lundqvist, Dan Girardi, Marc Staal, Ryan Callahan, Brandon Dubinsky, Marian Gaborik, Chris Drury, Derek Boogaard, Brandon Prust and many more. She didn't want to leave. "Hey." Michael said coming over to the couch, cleanly shaven finally. He always knew when she needed him. He sat down pulling her on to him as she sat on his lap. Her arms around his neck. "Hey." She said leaning head on his chest. She liked that they could just sit in silence.

"I can't wait for this summer." He said breaking the silence. "I can't wait to go into town in TB and Minny and call you my fiance. I can't wait for the engagement parties and that Nelson is building us a house." She laughed. Nelson Pyatt, Taylor and Tom's father who now had a huge construction contracting business agreed to build them a house on the lake their parents both had houses on. Including the Staal's. She couldn't wait for it to be finished next summer. "I can't wait for our lives together." She said cuddling with him. He was her perfect boy and she couldn't wait to dive into all of this with him by her side, because she knew he was there for her. "Hey you crazy kids." Taylor Pyatt said stuffing his face with a cupcake as he sat down next to them. "You ready for pittsburgh then The TB!" He said shouting to get them excited. "WOOO let's rage." She said laughing. She had just finished her senior year of high school and graduation was soon.

"Yeah and then we have to go to CT for this kids graduation." Brendan said kissing her on the cheek. He was so proud of his little sister, she had a great guy by her side one who he already thought was his brother, a great head on her shoulders, a great career starting up, he loved her so much and he was so excited for the next part of her life to start. "Stop I don't want to think about it." She said wiping tears away. She didn't want to think about graduating from Weston High, leaving her friends behind as she became a full time NHL'er. Her parents still not happy that she was taking online classes instead of going to College. But this was the path she needed to take. "Let's go finish packing." She told Michael as he followed her up the stairs.

Things were changing rapidly.
