Five Minutes For Fighting (Completed)

#DelZottoThomasWedding

Everything was a blur. It all had happened so fast. The last couple months of the season. The playoffs, and going to the Cup Final. Caroline couldn't breathe. It was probably the dress that was making it harder then anything. She had just come back from being horribly defeated by the LA Kings and now she had some sitting before her, as she stood at the front of the ballroom at the Boathouse in Central Park with Michael. Staring back at his beautiful face as Derek Stepan and Ryan McDonagh talked about their relationship. She couldn't believe this was happening, she was getting married to her best friend. Right now. "Do you Michael take Caroline to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do you part?" Caroline looked at Michael with a goofy grin, as Carl Hagelin his best man gave him the Cartier Love Ring that was her wedding band. "I do." She wanted to kiss him so badly right now. He slid the ring onto her finger. "Do you Caroline take Michael to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and health, until death do you part?" Her grin turned into a toothy smile. "I do." She slid the ring onto his finger, and it felt damn good to know she locked him up for good, he was officially all hers now. "Mike you could now kiss your bride." Michael pulled her into him as his lips crashed into hers. She couldn't believe she was now Caroline Del Zotto. It was all too surreal. "Love you Care." He whispered into her ear. "Love you Mikey." She whispered into his. "Well folks here they are our best friends, Mr and Mrs. Michael Del Zotto." He took her hand into his as they pulled their arms up and everyone stood up cheering, and clapping. It was June 19th 2014. In Central Park, at the boathouse. And Caroline finally for the first time, didn't think about losing the cup. "Let's party." Carl said as the two of them bounced down the aisle. They were going to party until the wee hours of the night.
