Jon, of course, did awesome at the Devils practice because he is Mr. Perfect. By Thursday, the only thing I wanted to do is go to school. It sounds so crazy, but I hate relaxation. Jon always babied me when he was home so I didn't even have to lift a finger. I planned the next weeks classes perfectly so I could jump right back into the gettysburg address when I got back.

Everyday was the same, I would wake up to Jon's smiling face, he would make breakfast, and we would make out a little on the couch and watch TV. We would sit there until 12:30 and then he would go get ready for practice with the Devils at 2.

Today was different though, the Devils didn't have practice today since they had a game against Tampa Bay so Jon and I actually had the day to ourselves.

When we woke up, there was no pressure on us to get up or go get ready instead we rested in each others arms.

"Hey there beautiful" Jon said with a sexy smirk, "What do you wanna do today?"

"As much as I would want to stay in bed with you all day, I actually have some real errands to do!"

"Why are you so excited about errands?" He laughed

"Because I haven't been out of the house since Sunday!"

I rolled out of my bed, very un-ladylike because of my cast and boot, and into my closet to throw something on. It was a chilly late October day, so I decided to wear a flannel shirt, a grey vest, a pearl necklace, and leggings. Usually I hate leggings, but those are the only pants that can fit over my "footwear". The upside of the cast and boots? No shoes! (here is the oufit x)

I came out of the room to find Jon in a pair of khackis and yes, a vineyard vines shirt. I had ordered it online for him because I found out he only has like 3 dress shirts. I knew he was only wearing the shirt for me, but damn he looked so freakin' hot.

He helped me down the stairs and out the door. "I'll take my car" He said as he opened the door of his car for me and ran around to the driver's seat, "So, where are we going on my very boring day off?"

"The grocery store!"

I was honestly so excited to go to the store, Jon and I were living on a box of honey nut cheerios and day-old milk. I loved the grocery store for some reason, maybe because everything had a place?

As we drove to Wegmans, Jon and I got to talking about our past. "Jon, I've never asked where you went to college."

"Shit, I was hoping you weren't gonna ask that question."

"Why, I mean you didn't go to Michigan or anything, right?" (Author's note: Ohio state and Michigan have a HUGE rivalry) "Right?"

Jon was staring out onto the highway we were on but he couldn't even hold his stance, the big goof "Oh my god!" I screamed, "I can't date a Wolverine!"

"We are dating?"

"Well, yeah, I don't know! We haven't even gone on a date!"

"Well if someone didn't get hit by a car!" He laughed, "Look I was trying to keep this a secret, but I got tickets to the Devils game tonight from Eric, so maybe we can go on a real date tonight."

I couldn't say no to those blue eyes could I? "Yeah, that sounds fun."

We turned into the Wegmans parking lot and I grabbed my reusable bags and looped my arm into Jon's as we walked in. I grabbed a cart and walked in.

"So what is first on the list?" Jon asked while looking at his phone

"Jon watch ou-"

Before all the words could come out Jon walked right into a display of Gushers knocking into 10 boxes. I laughed so hard and ran into the frozen aisle to get away from him because I was so embarrassed. He came into the aisle a minute later with tears running down his face. We stood there for a good 5 minutes just standing there laughing. If anyone could make me laugh, it was him.

"Alright! Alright!.... What.. are.. we getting first?"

"Well, I usually start from the first aisle to the last, so toilet paper and paper towels."

We strolled over to the first aisle, and while I was picking up a pack of paper towels, Jon threw a box a tissues right at the back of my head. Needless to say, we may have gotten in a tissue box fight, good thing Wegmans was almost empty.

"Jon I can't take you anymore!" I grabbed the list of things I needed to get and ripped it in half giving him the bottom half, "Take this and don't come back to me unless you have all of it!"

Jon put his hands up in the air like he was offended, walked over to the cart, gave me a kiss on the cheek, and whispered in my ear "You're on."

He ran off to try to beat me but I knew this was an unfair race because I gave him the half of the list that had pads/tampons on it. This was gonna be hilarious.

A half an hour later I was waiting for him, with my half of the list done, so I decided to look for him. There he was, helpless and confused in the tampon aisle just like I thought he would be.

He saw me and turned back to the blue and teal boxes "I'm just so confused. Why are there so many?"

I just laughed, grabbed the ones I needed, and stood up on my tippy toes to kiss his cheek. I also whispered into his ears "I win" and skipped to the cash register.

When we got to the cash register, Jon had to pay because he lost. We both agreed on that when he thought he was going to win. And just for fun, I slapped on a Hersheys Chocolate bar with almonds on the end.

"Whoops." I smiled.

"Next time, I'm gonna win!" He laughed as he swiped his credit card to pay the expensive bill. Good thing I won.

"Where to next?" He said once we loaded up the car

"Jon, I don't think I can take anymore walking on these feet, let's just go home . I wan't to be well rested for tonight!"

"Let's go then." He smiled and grabbed my hand as we drove back to my apartment.
