Dustin's POV
We did it! We won the Stanley Cup. LA's first Stanley Cup win, ever. "Congrats babe!" Chantelle slid over to me. "There you are, babe." I picked her up and spun her around. "I have something to ask you." I said. "Oh?" she giggled. "Yes, I do, Miss.Quick." I laughed. I pulled the ring out of my glove. "Baby, you're the one I wanna spend the rest of my life with. You're the one I want to have kids with, not right away but, soon. If you say yes, I will explode with excitement and happiness. Chantelle Marie Quick, will you marry me?" I asked. "Oh my god, Dustin, of course! YES!" She exclaimed. I slid the ring on her finger.
"Hey, I'm going to go talk to Jonathan fast okay?"
"Baby, please, don't go!" I laughed.
"I'll be back, don't worry." Chan had her signature smile on her face.
Chantelle's POV
I snuck up behind my brother. "Hey big bro! Congrats." I jumped on his back. "Get down and thanks."
I got down. "Congrats on the cup win." I hugged him properly. "Congrats on the engagement." HOW THE FUCK DID HE KNOW?!
"Jon, how did you know?" I asked.
"Dustin had it planned for a while. And the ring kind of gave it away." he smirked.
"Oh." I replied. Dustin came over by my brother & I and he lifted me up. "Dustin! Put me down! You gotta go raise the Cup!" I exclaimed.
I watched my fiance raise the Cup.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and started snapping pics of the Kings lifting Lord Stanley's Cup for the first time in Kings history.
