Everything I could ask for. (Completed)

Oh god.

Aaron woke up to the sound of Madeline snoring, a sound he had missed so much that it ached. He used to hate it, he used to wake her up so she wouldn't keep snoring in his ear. But now he loved hearing it. He laid there in bed staring over at his gorgeous girlfriend, her tan from her vacation to Mexico wearing off, her long lean but not so skinny body glistened in the light of his sconces on the wall. Her long beautiful brown hair towered down her body like Rapunzel's. He missed her. He ached for her. "A we're going to training get up." Darien said knocking and opening the door. He saw Madeline there, a sight that had been missed the last week. "I'll be waiting outside." Darien said closing the door. Aaron got up and walked over to his desk, taking a pen from Barrie Colts coffee mug his mother made a pen holder. He opened a drawer and tore off a piece of notebook paper. "Had to leave, thanks for being there for me last night. Love you Madeline Amanda Gilmore. -A" He left the note on his pillow as he got dressed and left. He took a mental picture of her in his bed again, he messed up but he got her back.

"Morgan?" Madeline asked as she opened her eyes, it took her ten seconds for her to adjust to where she was. Aaron's. She forgot. She looked over at the note and crumpled it up, throwing it in the trash. She fixed her dress and slipped on her shoes. She grabbed her phone from the nightstand next to her side of the bed. 10 missed text messages from Morgan. She remembered when she wanted to spend every waking moment with Aaron and Morgan kept bothering her, she now wanted to spend every waking moment with Morgan and wanted Aaron to leave her alone. She walked out of the house quietly, she couldn't look at Mr. and Mrs. Ekblad in the face. She walked down to the gate and opened it and walked down the street. Three streets until hers.

When she finally got home she hopped into a shower and got the smell of Aaron Ekblad off of her. "Babe?" Morgan asked as she heard his foot steps. "IN HERE." She yelled as she opened the shower door and then closed it again. "Now that's a good sight." Morgan said smirking as he took off his Reebok Toronto Maple Leafs wick proof t-shirt throwing it onto the marble floor. "Well that's a really good sight." She said opening the shower door as the water poured onto her naked body. His chest and abs were absolutely gorgeous. He smirked as he untied his sneakers, sweat dripping from his body. "How did Gary treat you guys today?" She asked. "Horrible, my whole body is sore." He took off his socks leaving them where his shoes were left. "Like sooooo sore. Roberts kills us." He took off his athletic shorts and boxers. "I need a nice shower with my girlfriend." He said coming into the marble shower kissing her. "Your girlfriend?" She smirked. "Yeah my hot, secret girlfriend." He got under the water with her as he kissed her neck, she moved to the side as she put conditioner in her hair. Was she and Aaron really done? She was still technically in a relationship with him. "I think I need a day or two Morgs." She said not knowing where this was going. "What?" He looked down at her, he was a couple inches taller then her. "I have to see what me and Aaron are or were. I don't want you to get hurt." She said kissing him. He pulled back. "Okay but I am staying around here, I don't care if I get hurt. I need you. I am not letting you go that easy." Morgan said kissing her this time.

"We need to talk." Aaron kept reading the text over and over again. "We need to talk." "We need to talk." He hated those four words. He sat at their local Markham hockey rink watching Steven Stamkos and Michael Del Zotto go hard at each other 1 on 1. It was always good for everyone else that MDZ was a defenseman. "Hey." Aaron turned around. Madeline was standing in front of him. White short shorts replaced that white dress, gold wedges had been replaced with flip flops and she was wearing his Barrie Colts sweatshirt. "I need that back if we're breaking up." He said coldly. Looking straight ahead. "Are we breaking up? I don't even know if we are even together." The last couple weeks had been such as strange couple of weeks, she just couldn't be around him anymore, his ego, his attitude made her sick. It all started with the draft. "I miss that sweet boy from last summer. Not the cocky, attitude ridden, smart ass who punches innocent people standing up for me." He still didn't look at her. "And I miss that girl who was obsessed with me, who would never sleep with any other guy." Madeline looked down. "And I miss that boy who would never touch Claudia but you did." She knew he did. "She was all over me, it was a mistake." He looked down this time. "Morgan, Morgan's not a mistake. He cares about me, we have a connection. Maybe people grow apart..." Now Aaron looked at her. "We had a love story, we aren't growing apart. And I am not letting you go." Aaron leaned over and kissed her. Kissed her like those kisses from last summer. Tender and sweet. Not the ones from this summer, not the hungry, animal like kisses. He pulled away. "We have something Madeline. I am not giving up on you." And with that he went into the locker room. And she was on cloud nine from that kiss.
