It’s the next morning. James is at the arena to meet with Mario. He’s kind of nervous cuz he thinks he’s being traded. He goes to Mario’s office and sits down.

James - You wanted to see me?
Mario - I know you were on your honeymoon with your new wife but I’m sorry to tell you but you have been traded to the Nashville Predators.
James - That’s what I was afraid of.
Mario - Glad you understand.
James - I knew this day was coming but it’s not any easier.
Mario - You will always be a part of the Penguins family and thank you for everything you did for the team during your 3 ½ years with the team.
James - Thank you Mario

James gets up from Mario’s desk and shakes his hand. He leaves Mario’s office and then leaves the arena. He makes the drive home. He gets home and sees that Melody isn’t there. He goes into the living room and sits on the couch and starts to cry. A short time later Melody comes home and finds James sitting on the couch holding his head and crying.

Melody - Hey, what’s wrong sweetie?
James - (Looks up at Melody with tears streaming down his face but doesn’t say anything)
Melody - James? What’s wrong?
James - (Sniffles) I…I was traded.
Melody - (Comes over to the couch and sits next to him and wraps her arm around him) I’m so sorry sweetie. Is there anything I can do?
James - No, just hold me.
Melody - I can do that.

Melody lays down on the couch. She grabs James by the arm and pulls him close to her. They begin looking into each other eyes and begin to kiss. James lays head on Melody’s shoulder and goes right to sleep. Melody wraps her arm around him and runs her fingers through his hair. She is asleep a short time later until later that night. James wakes up and runs his fingers through Melody’s hair. She then wakes up.

James - Sorry babe didn’t mean to wake you.
Melody - It’s ok sweetie. You feeling any better?
James - It still hurts that I was traded but I have you and Deter and that’s all I need.
Melody - Aww, and we’ll move with you if you want us too.
James - Of course I do. I need you and Deter in my life. Where is he by the way?
Melody - He’s spending time at my parents.
James - So we have the house to ourselves tonight?
Melody - Yes till tomorrow.
James - (Smiles) So what do you want to do tonight?
Melody - I was thinking of doing some gaming tonight.
James - Wow, you’re a gamer?
Melody - Haven’t you ever seen my gaming videos on Youtube?
James - What’s your Youtube name?
Melody - FrenchGamerGirl
James - Oh wow then I’ve seen your stuff. You’re a hell of a gamer.
Melody - Aww, thanks babe.
James - I mean it. Girls are even sexier when they’re gamers.
Melody - I want to show you something.
James - Ok what?

Melody grabs her tablet and shows James her cosplay photos from when she went to California to visit her friend Kate.

Melody - (Laughs) I know you must think I’m such gaming nerd.
James - Not at all babe. These costumes are amazing. Did you make these?
Melody - Sure did
James - Wow, you have some serious talent.
Melody - Aww, thanks sweetie.
James - I mean it. You’re pretty amazing.
Melody - Aww, that’s really sweet.
James - I meant every word. I love you.
Melody - I love you too.

They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss. Melody gets up from the couch and goes into the kitchen to fix dinner. A short time later James goes into the kitchen and wraps his arms around Melody. He starts nuzzling and kissing Melody’s neck. He helps Melody set the table and lights a couple of candles. A short time later Melody comes over to the table with dinner and chocolate, peanut butter, and banana smoothies. As they’re eating James takes a hold of Melody’s hand and thanks her for comforting him about being traded. They get done eating and clean up the table. They go over to the couch and start cuddling for a little while. Melody falls asleep. James decides to take her to bed. He picks her up and carries her to the bed. He gently puts her down on the bed. He lays down beside her and covers her with the blanket that’s on their bed. He wraps his arms around Melody so that they’re spooning with one another. James is asleep a short time later until the next morning. Over the next few weeks they start looking for a place to live in Nashville. A few days later they find a great house and decide to go take a look at it. They return to Pittsburgh by the weekend after buying the house and start packing. During the weekend Melody starts feeling sick. They’re at the doctor to find out what’s wrong with her.
