Melody is sitting on her bed video chatting with James before she goes to bed.

James - I really miss you.
Melody - I miss you too sweetie.
James - Your baby belly makes you look so beautiful.
Melody - Aww, do you really mean that?
James - You bet I do. You ok babe?
Melody - I’m just really tired.
James - Then why don’t you go to bed.
Melody - Sounds like a good idea
James - I’ll let you go so you can get some sleep.
Melody - Ok, goodnight sweetie.
James - Night baby.

They hang up. Melody sighs and starts to cry cuz she wants so bad to be with James and she‘s starting to fall in love with him. Her cell phone rings.

Leslie - Hey, what’s wrong?
Melody - I was just talking to James and I want so bad to be with him.
Leslie - Aww, have you fallen in love with him?
Melody - I think I have.
Leslie - Aww, you need to tell him how you feel about him the next time he’s in town.
Melody - I know I should but I’m scared to tell him that I love him.
Leslie - Aww, who knows maybe he feels the same way about you.
Melody - I should be heading to bed. I’m meeting with my landlord tomorrow.
Leslie - Ok night hon

The girls hang up. Melody lays down and covers herself with her blanket. She’s asleep a few minutes later she is sound asleep until the next morning. She wakes up and gets dressed. She then goes to meet with her landlord hoping she can get out of her lease so that she can move to Pittsburgh with James.

Kat - Is there something I can help you with dear?
Melody - I was wondering if there is anyway I can break me lease?
Kat - Of course you can. What’s up?
Melody - As you know I’m 6 months pregnant and my boyfriend lives out of state.
Kat - Say no more. You want to go live with your boyfriend so you’re not alone when you have your baby. Hey, is your boyfriend that hot hockey player I saw leave your place a month ago?
Melody - Yes, that’s him.
Kat - Wow, you lucky woman getting to date a hockey player. You know he kind of looked like James Neal.
Melody - (Smiles and doesn’t say anything)
Kat - You mean you’re the girlfriend he mentioned on Twitter?
Melody - Yes
Kat - Wow, and again I say you lucky woman. I take it you dumped that jerk of an ex.
Melody - Yes, he started cheating on me when I told him I was pregnant.
Kat - Not right but you seem happier now with your new man.
Melody - So can I get out of my lease?
Kat - You bet
Melody - Great
Kat - I’ll have your security deposit check tomorrow.
Melody - I’ll be by in the morning before James gets here.
Kat - Alright I’ll see you tomorrow.

Melody leaves and heads back to her apartment. Just as she gets inside her cell phone rings.

James - Hey baby.
Melody - So nice to hear your voice.
James - I hope your meeting with your landlord went ok.
Melody - Yes it went great.
James - So you’ll be able to come live with me?
Melody - Yes, I’ll be able to come live with you.
James - That’s what I was hoping to hear. What did you find out at the doctor?
Melody - My baby and I are just fine.
James - Good cuz I’ve been really worried about you honey.
Melody - Aww, that’s really sweet James.
James - There’s something I want to ask you when I get there.
Melody - This has to do with my baby doesn’t it?
James - It might
Melody - Ok, we’ll talk about that when you get here.
James - You sound exhausted honey.
Melody - I am
James - Go take a nap honey. We’ll video chat later, ok?
Melody - I think I will and I would like that.

They hang up. Melody has something quick to eat for lunch. She goes into her bedroom and lays down on her bed. She covers herself with her blanket. She’s asleep a short time later until later that night. A couple days pass and she waits for James to arrive. A couple hours pass when she hears a knock at the door. She answers the door and smiles when she sees James. She lets him in and closes the door. They go over to the couch. James sits on the couch and grabs Melody’s arm and pulls her close to him. Melody lays her head on James’s chest. James smiles and wraps his arm around her.

James - There’s been something I’ve been wanting to tell you.
Melody - What’s that James?
James - I may not get to see you as often as I like. I may not get to hold you in my arms all through the night. But deep in my heart I truly know, you're the one that I love, and I can't let you go.
Melody - You love me?
James - You bet I do. I fell for you the day we met.
Melody - I love you too James.
James - You do?
Melody - You bet I do. I fell for you the night you kissed the whipped cream off my cheek. Feeling your lips on my skin was such a wonderful feeling.
James - I’ve been doing some thinking.
Melody - About what?
James - When your baby is born he’s going to need a father.
Melody - (Starts to cry) Oh James are you saying you want to be a father to my little boy?
James - (Wipes the tears from Melody’s eyes) Shh, don’t cry baby and yes I want to be a father to your son.
Melody - Wow, you must really love me to want to do this.
James - Of course I do. (Smiles when he feels Melody’s baby kick) Pretty amazing feeling your baby kick.
Melody - (Smiles) He must like the sound of your voice. He didn’t start kicking till we started dating so he must think you’re his daddy.
James - (Smiles) Really? He can hear me?
Melody - You bet James. Try talking to my belly and see what happens.
James - (Places his hand on Melody’s belly and smiles) Hey, little man. I’m your mommy’s new boyfriend. I love your mommy so much and I’ve told her I will be a father to you when you’re born. (Feels the baby kicking his hand and smiles) I guess he likes me. He must know that I love you.
Melody - I think he knows that you’re going to be part of his life and mine.
James - You look tired honey.
Melody - I have a hard time sleeping now that my belly is bigger.
James - Come on lets go lay down on your bed.
Melody - Sounds good to me.

James helps Melody off the couch. They go into her bedroom and lay down on her bed. James covers them with Melody’s blanket and wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. They’re both asleep a short time later. James wakes up and starts nuzzling and kisses Melody’s neck until she wakes up feeling James kissing her. She turns over so that she’s now facing James. He smiles as they begin looking into each others eyes and start to kiss.

James - Hey, sleep ok honey?
Melody - (Smiles) First time I’ve actually slept great in a long time.
James - (Smiles) Or was it just the fact that we were cuddling while we were napping?
Melody - Maybe that was it. Felt so nice having you hold me. I’ve really missed having a guy hold me and cuddle with me.
James - And you deserve to have a guy who will love you like you deserve to be loved.
Melody - (Smiles) Do you mean yourself?
James - You bet baby.

They start to kiss again until Melody’s cell phone rings. James gets up to take shower while Melody is on the phone. She answers it a little annoyed.

Melody - You have such bad timing.
Leslie - Oh I’m sorry. Is James there with you?
Melody - Yes he is. He’s in the shower.
Leslie - You should put on that red lacy thing you sent me a picture so when he comes out of the shower he sees you in it.
Melody - That’s a great idea. James told me that he loves me.
Leslie - Aww, when did he tell you?
Melody - Last night when we were cuddling on my couch.
Leslie - Aww, no wonder you sound so happy.
Melody - I’m very happy being with James.
Leslie - I’m going to go so you can spend time with him before he leaves.
Melody - Ok bye

The girls hang up. Melody goes over to her dresser and dig out the red lacy see thru nighty and puts it on. She lays back down on the bed. A little while later James comes out of the bathroom and then sees Melody on the bed.

James - Wow
Melody - You like it?
James - You bet I do.
Melody - Come back on the bed next to me and you can have me all to yourself.

James comes over to the bed and lays down next to Melody. He grabs her arm and pulls her close to him. They begin looking into each other eyes and begin to kiss.

James - Wow, you are so sexy baby.
Melody - So you like your surprise?
James - Oh baby you bet I do. (Runs his hand over Melody’s body and then starts gently kissing and biting her neck)

They begin to kiss again and tearing each other clothes off. James starts kissing gently biting Melody’s neck again. She begins to moan when James starts kissing others parts of her body.

Melody - Oh James. Oh god James.
James - Oh Mel. Oh god baby.
Melody - Oh god that feels so good.
James - Oh baby you are so sexy.
Melody - Oh James I want you so bad.
James - Oh Mel baby I want you so bad too.
Melody - Oh yeah right there.
James - Oh baby I love you.
Melody - Oh James I love you too.

The sex continues until Melody orgasms. Melody lays her head on James’s chest. James smiles when he wraps arms around her.

James - (Runs his fingers through Melody’s hair) I love you baby.
Melody - I love you too.
James - Want to go out tonight babe?
Melody - I would like that.

When Melody gets up from her bed to get dressed James sees her tattoos on her back, belly, and her left shoulder.

James - Wow, your tattoos are kind of sexy.
Melody - Thank you James.
James - When did you get them?
Melody - Before I got pregnant.
James - Plans on anymore?
Melody - (Smiles) Maybe but I’m not telling you where it’s going to be or what’s going to be of. Can you help with my necklace?
James - Sure babe

James gets up from the bed and goes over to Melody to help her with her necklace. After he helps Melody with her necklace he gets dressed. They decide go grab something to eat. Little do they know they’re eating at the same place where some of James’s teammates are eating at. Sid and Geno come over to the table and give James a hard time being on a date with Melody.

Sid - (Laughs) Oh so this why you disappeared as soon as we got here.
Geno - Lazy got girlfriend
James - Very funny you two.
Sid - When did this start?
James - A month ago.
Sid - (Laughs) So does she have a name?
Melody - My name is Melody or Mel for short.
Sid - (Laughs) Oh so you’re the Mel this guy never shuts up about.
James - Very funny Sid.
Sid - Lets go Geno so these two lovebirds can finish their date.

Sid and Geno leave so that James and Melody can finish their date. They finish eating and then head back to her apartment. They start cuddling on Melody’s couch.

James - (Nuzzles and kisses Melody’s neck) Did you want me to stay with you tonight?
Melody - I would love it if you did.
James - Then I will stay with you tonight.
Melody - James?
James - Yeah baby?
Melody - I love you.
James - I love you too honey.
Melody - Is it ok if I go to bed?
James - Sure babe I’ll come with you.

James helps Melody up from the couch. They go into her bedroom and lay down on her bed. Melody lays her head on James’s chest and goes right to sleep. James smiles and gives Melody a kiss. He wraps his arm around her and goes to sleep until the next morning. Melody wakes up and sees James has left for his game day skate. Melody gets up and fixes herself some breakfast. She goes into her bedroom and grabs her blanket off her bed. She curls up on the couch and covers herself with her blanket. She falls asleep a short time later. James comes back a few hours later and sees Melody is sound asleep. He picks her up and carries her to her bedroom. He lays her down on the bed. He lays down beside her and wraps his arm around her. He’s asleep a short time later until he wakes up and heads to his game. Melody wakes up to eat something. She curls up on the couch to watch James’s game. Half way through the game she falls asleep. She wakes up long enough to see a text from James that says ‘Hey, sorry babe that I didn’t come back to your apartment to say good bye after the game. I forgot that I have another game tomorrow in Columbus. :( I will call you tomorrow. I love you Mel.’ She sends James a good night text and that she loves him too. She grabs her blanket and lays down on her bed and goes right to sleep. Over the next few days she packs up her apartment and then moves to Pittsburgh.
