It’s Valentines Day morning. Melody wakes up and sees that James has left for the morning. She finds a bouquet of purple orchids on the nightstand with a note from James that says ‘You're the best thing that ever happened to me and I want to love you for the rest of my life. You are the person that made me believe in love again.’ She smiles and then sends him a text saying that she loves him too. She gets out of bed and goes out to the kitchen to fix herself something to eat. By the time she’s done eating James comes home. He comes over to the kitchen table and sits down beside Melody. He smiles and takes a hold of her hand.

James - I love you so much.
Melody - I love you too.
James - Since I don’t have a game till tomorrow would you like to go out tonight?
Melody - I would love that. I’ve decided I want to name my son after you.
James - (Smiles) Wow, really? You want to name your little boy after me?
Melody - You bet I do. I love you James and it’s the least I could do with how wonderful you’ve been taking care of me.
James - Wow, what were you thinking for a name?
Melody - Deter James and then give him your last name.
James - (Smiles) Wow, I like that a lot.
Melody - I figured you would.
James - You’re a pretty amazing woman to do that.
Melody - Aww, do you really think that about me James?
James - Of course I do.
Melody - Aww, I love you James.
James - I love you too.
Melody - I’m going to go take a nap.
James - Want me to join you?
Melody - You bet I do.

James and Melody go into their bedroom. They lay down on the bed. Melody lays her head on James’s chest and is asleep a short time later. James smiles when he gives Melody a kiss and wraps his arm around her. He is asleep a short time later until later that night. They wake up and go out on a romantic date. It’s after dinner and they’re taking a quiet walk through a small park. James pulls out a ring box and drops to one knee.

James - Mel, honey, I love you more then words can describe. The first time our eyes met I knew it was true that I'd love you forever and that's what I'll do. I knew the second I met you that there was something about you I needed. Turns out it wasn't something about you at all. It was just you. Every day we’re together have been the best days of my life and I couldn’t imagine my life without you in it. I love you so much. (Slips the rings on Melody’s finger) Mel, honey, will you marry me?
Melody - (Smiles and starts to cry) Oh James of course I will.
James - I was hoping you would say that.
Melody - Of course I would. I love you so much James.
James - I love you too Mel.

James wraps his arms around Melody pulling her close to him. They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss. They continue to kiss until they go home. When they get home Morgan goes into their bedroom while James lays down on the couch. A little while later Melody stands in the doorway wearing a red and black lacy piece of lingerie.

Melody - Well what do you think?
James - Wow, you look so beautiful.

James gets up from the couch and joins Melody in their bedroom. They lay down on the bed and start cuddling for awhile. Melody snuggles up to James and goes right to sleep. James smiles when he covers them with the blanket that is on the bed, gives her a kiss, wraps his arm around her, and goes right to sleep. James wakes up and sees Melody is still asleep. He starts to kiss her and then starts kissing other parts of her body. Melody starts to moan in her sleep. She then wakes up near orgasm. She turns over so that she’s facing James. They begin looking into each others eyes and begin to kiss. The kissing continues when Melody starts to moan intensely.

Melody - Oh James. Oh god James.
James - Oh Mel. Oh god baby.
Melody - Oh god that feels so good.
James - Oh baby you are so sexy.
Melody - Oh James I want you so bad.
James - Oh Mel baby I want you so bad too.
Melody - Oh yeah right there.
James - Oh baby I love you.
Melody - Oh James I love you too.

The sex continues until Melody has a very intense orgasm. Her and James then start cuddling for a little while.

James - (Runs his fingers through Melody’s hair) I love you baby.
Melody - I love you too.
James - I should be getting ready to head to practice.
Melody - Wish you didn’t have to leave.
James - Don’t worry babe I won’t be gone long.
Melody - Ok
James - I love you
Melody - I love you too.

James gives Melody a kiss and then gets dressed. He leaves for practice for part of the morning. Melody gets dressed and then takes a picture of her red diamond engagement ring. She sends the picture to Leslie. Her cell phone then rings.

Leslie - Oh my god hon that ring is gorgeous.
Melody - I know it is. I cried when James put it on my finger.
Leslie - I’m so happy that you found a man who truly loves you.
Melody - I keep pinching myself to make sure I’m not dreaming that we’re living together.
Leslie - Aww, you sound so happy though.
Melody - I am so happy cuz I’m with the man I love now.
Leslie - Did you tell him that you’re naming your little boy after him?
Melody - Yes and he loves the idea.
Leslie - Aww, I’m sure he’s flattered you want to name your son after him.
Melody - I think he was going to cry when I told him.
Leslie - Aww, what are you going to name your son?
Melody - Deter James
Leslie - Aww, I’m going to do cuz you sound tired hon.
Melody - I think I’m going to take a nap.
Leslie - Ok, I’ll come over and watch the game with you tonight.
Melody - Ok

The girls hang up. Melody rolls over onto her side and goes right back to sleep. James comes home a little while later. He smiles when he sees Melody is sound asleep. He decides to lay down beside her. He wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. He is asleep a short time later until he wakes up and leaves for his game. Melody wakes up and goes out into the kitchen to make herself her favorite chocolate, peanut butter, and banana smoothie. She curls up on the couch to watch James’s game. Leslie comes over. Melody lets her in. They both go into the living room to watch the game.

Leslie - Hey, what is that you’re eating?
Melody - The best thing in the world. It’s a chocolate, peanut butter, and banana smoothie. Here have a taste.
Leslie - (Takes the glass from Melody) Oh wow that is good.
Melody - One of my friends on Facebook suggested it.
Leslie - You should make one for James. He’d love it.
Melody - Oh that’s a great idea.
Leslie - Make him one when he comes home. It would make for a nice after game snack.
Melody - And believe it or it is pretty healthy.
Leslie - You’ll have to send me the recipe for it.
Melody - I’d be glad to.
Leslie - Wow, your man is on fire. (Laughs) What did you do to him?
Melody - (Laughs) Who says I did anything to him?
Leslie - (Laughs) Just messing with you.
Melody - I know
Leslie - You ok Mel?
Melody - Just starting to get tired.
Leslie - Aww, then why don’t you go bed?
Melody - I think I will. I’ll talk to you tomorrow.
Leslie - Alright

Leslie heads for home. Melody finishes her smoothie, turns off the TV, and then goes to bed. She is sound asleep a short time later. James comes home a few hours later. He comes into the bedroom and sees Melody is already in bed. He quietly gets ready for bed. He lays down beside Melody. He wraps his arms around her holding her and goes right to sleep until the next morning. A month passes and Melody goes into labor a couple weeks early.
