It's a Hockey Night in Pittsburgh!

Today was the last game against till the Winter Olympic and I am kinda of disappointment that I didn’t make it to Team Canada but I have something up my sleeve with Wrenn and I. As I was tying my stakes for the last morning stake before the game tonight against Montreal. I couldn’t get the smile off my face for what’s going to happen at the end of the game.
“Lazy got in last night?” I looked up and see Geno giving him a wink.
“Nope, we just had a good dinner and just talked. That’s all we needed right now. The rest of the guys filed there way into the looker room. I was just quiet for the rest of the morning stake since I was remember the plans after the game tonight. Then I see Duper by himself and I went over to him to ask him a question.
“I have a question for you.”
“Sure.”
“When is it the right time to pop the question?” Duper had to take a step back to make sure that he was talking to the right person.
“The Real Deal is finally going to be a man. Are you guys on the right page right now?”
“Yea I think we are, since coming back from Christmas break we have been more closer and telling the truth more. I don’t want to lose her and with all the shit that she’s been through of a couple of years now I think she needs some light in this. I feel like I am that light for her.” Duper patted my shoulder.
“The Real Deal I can see it in your eyes that you are inlove with Wrenn.” Now I know what love feels like and I want to show that to Wrenn.
“Just make sure you talked to Wade about this.”
“Oh I know, thanks man.”
“No problem.”
“That’s awesome for her, what about her work?”
“I talk to her boss and he let her have the full week off then back to normal.”

It was about close to the Olympic break and I have everything in order to head to Bora Bora with Wrenn. She has no clue about everything and I am going to pick her up from work after she’s done. Wrenn and I were on the couch sitting and watching some highlights from other hockey games.
“So what are you going to do over the olympic break?” Wrenn asks.
“Well I might get some more sleep and spend more time with you of course.” Wrenn nodded her head.
“That’s sound like a great plan. I’m going to take a bath. You an join whenever you want. Once Wrenn went into the bathroom I needed to call Wade.
“Hey James.”
“Hey Wade. Do you have a minute that I can ask you something?”
“Yeah sure. What’s going on?”
“I wanted to do this in person but the olympic break is coming up and I wanted to do this during that time. But I wanted to know if I can marry your sister.” There was a long pause and James didnt know what to say next.
“Wade are you still there?”
“Yea I am and I am shock that you wanted to do this.”
“I have been wanted to do this since the minute she moved in with me the first time.”
“James I want you to marry my sister.”
“Thank you so much Wade.”
In the morning I really didn’t hear her get up and get ready for work. But once she left, I quickly got out of bed and got everything pack. I’m glad that Maureen came over and pack for Wrenn because I would have no clue what she wanted to wear over in Bora Bora. When I looked at the time I had a couple of hours left till her show was over. I couldn’t wait any longer and so I headed down to the radio station. A lot of people knew I was coming and some had to do a double take to see if they weren’t seeing wrong. As I was standing in the parking lot waiting for Wrenn to be done with the show. I see her coming out of the building and going to her car. I whistle really loud so she could hear me. When she heard me, she ran over to me.
“What are you doing here? I though you were going to work out while I was at work.”
“Nope but I got you something and I couldn’t wait any longer. I have plan something for us and it’s not in Pittsburgh.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I’ve talked to your boss a couple of days ago and you are going to take a trip to Bora Bora.” Wrenn’s lips were touching from ear to ear.
“Are you fucking kidding me!” She pushed me a little. I grabbed out the tickets from my coat pocket and showed them to her.
“How long are we going to be there?”
“About a week because I need to come back here and be with the other team mates to practice with. But everything is packed and we are now heading to the airport.”

It was a long flight, 20 hours and all I wanted to do was to get out of this plane. I could see it in Wrenn’s eyes that she feels the same way to. When we got their we just laid in bed till the next morning. For the whole time we were in Bora Bora I think we stayed on the beach and paddled board the whole time. Wrenn look amazing in her swimsuits that Maureen picked out for her. We have been checking up on how Team Canada and Team USA is doing over in Russia. But tonight was the night and I couldn’t wait for it. As we were walking back to our hotel from the beach.
“So what are we doing tonight?”
“I have something for us.”
“Let me guess it’a s surprise?”
“Yep it is but I want to do dress really nice because this night is important to me like you, ok.” Wrenn nodded her head.

Wrenn P.O.V
After I got ready for this important dinner for James. I’m so glad that Maureen is a great friend because she knows how to put great outfits together. She knows something more than me. Is that a bad thing of a good thing? When I came out of the bed room. I didn’t hear or see James any where in the hotel room.
“James?” I called out but yet no sound in return. When I got into the kitchen, I see there was a note from him.
“Wrenn met me at the front of the hotel when you are finish getting ready. Love James.” When I walked out to the front of the hotel I see James was wearing an amazing tux.
“Wow you look amazing.” James answer.
“Thanks and not to shabby for you to mister.” James had his arm out and I grab it. We walked over to this nice restaurant and had a nice view of everything at our table. As we were eating our dinner I could see that James was nervous for something.
“What’s wrong?”
“Nothing.” When we were done with dinner, we headed out to the beach and walked over where there was a pier. When we got to the end of the pier. I was getting a little chilly and James handed me his coat to me.
“Thanks.”
“There’s something in one of the pockets I need can you grab it for me.” When I was looking at all of the pockets he had on his jacket. I felt something in the inner of his jacket. When I grab it out it was a small black box. I was in shock because I think I know what it could be.
“Open it.” He told me. When I open the box my heart went up to my throat. My eyes went up to James and he was down on one knee.
“Wrenn I knew that this was a moment that I couldn’t waste anywhere in the world. So would you do the honor of marrying me.” I couldn’t get the word yes out of my mouth so I just nodded my head. I could feel the tears coming down on my cheeks. James wiped them off and picked me up. He spun me around and place his lips on to mine. When he set me down I put the ring on my finger and I can’t stop looking at it.
