It's a Hockey Night in Pittsburgh!

When we landed into LA some of the guys wanted to go out and eat but I wanted to stay in and catch up on some stuff. Since I am the only girl with a team full of boys I have a room all to myself. When I got into my room, I shower and change into my sweats and fell asleep with my book on my chest.

Waking up from the smell from the ocean and the light breeze. I never wanted to get out of bed, but there was a light knock on my door. When I crawl out of the bed. It was James behind it wearing a plan white shirt, Black shorts and flip flops on.
"Hey James."
“They guys and I are going down to have breakfast before practice. Do you want to join with us?"
"Sure why not. Just give me 5 minutes." I grab the first thing that came out of my suite case and put it on. I didn’t care if the guys sees me without make up. Half of them are married, dating and some will see me in a swim suit soon.” When we got down to the lobby, some of the guys were talking and having a good time with the weather right now.We just went a block over to a nice small breakfast place and we all just talk.
"So why are you into sports broadcasting?” Kuni ask.
"Since I was about 12 I always loved sports. I would talk to more of the guys about sports in school. All the girls think it's weird that I could talk to the guys and never get nerves. I feel more relax talking to guys than I do with girls.”
“Family members?”
“I have a twin brother name Wade, he play soccer for the New York Red Bulls, we are 18 minutes apart."
"Was hockey your first sport?"
"No it was football then hockey came in." We had a great time and I was hoping it won't end at all. But they have to get ready for practice and their first away game was against the Kings.

They lost their first away game of the season and I know that they have a lot more games but I really wanted them to bet the Kings. The look on James face looked like he lost his dog. I knew how to comfort an athlete because of Wade but I don’t know how with James or the other players. Going to do more interview for the radio show and making sure that all the player are ok after their first lost of the season. Once I was done with that, we headed back on to the airplane and went to San Jose.
I was on the phone with the Fan talking of how I though of the game and what they need improve of if they want to bet the Sharks. After I was done with that there was a knock on my door. When I open the door it was Sid and Geno.

James P.O.V
When I close my door to my room, I see that Sid and Geno beat me to the punch. Wrenn was walking down the hall with them to get breakfast. Shit, I wanted to be with her. It’s kinda weird that I have feelings for her and that I only met her not that long and she’s living with me. When I got my breakfast I was too late to sit with her. She was sitting with Sid, Geno, Duper, Kuni and Olli. So I sat down with Brooks,Brandon, Tanner and Matt. During that whole breakfast I was watching Wrenn and she was having a blast talking to the guys. She was right that she feels more relax with boys than girls. Once breakfast was done, We were all going to head to the pool and relax before we play against the Sharks. I watch Wrenn get up and headed back to the elevators. Once we all laid down on the beach chairs I was looking around of Wrenn. When she came out I though my jaw hit the ground.
“James I think a fly could easily fly into your mouth right now.” Flower said. When I see Flower turn to see who I was looking at.
“Holly shit dude. Wrenn looks amazing but I have a hotter wife back at home. You should asks her out.”
“No.”
“Why?”
“That’s weird and she’s like a coworker anyway.” I laid back down and close my eyes.
“Hey it this seat taken?” I open my eyes and it was Wrenn cover her chest with the towel.
“Nope I save it just for you.”
“You’re too kind.” She rolled her eyes. Wrenn place her towel over the shit and laid down chest first. A couple of the guys passed by and gave me a tumps up. It’s turn Wrenn does have a nice ass. The didn’t stay that long because we have a game to play tonight.
Wrenn had to get ready and they had to head to The SAP Center to get ready for the game.
I did it, I got a hat trick and it was the amazing thing that happen. When the game was over, I was hoping that I could get an interview from Wrenn. When I came out of the locker room to get interview it was Potash that was going to do the interview.
"James, how does it feel to win the game, also the first away win, but mostly of all get a hat trick?"
"It's great I mean, it's hard to get hat trick when you play a great hockey team like the Sharks." Once I was done with the interview I was looking around where Wrenn was. She was talking to Sutter and she couldn't get that smile of her face yet again. When we got on the plane ride back to Pittsburgh. I was sitting when I saw Wrenn coming on to the plane. I grab her arm.
"Do you want to sit with me?"
"I don't think I can, you know I am just a co host not a hockey player."
"Well if I could ask Potash, I think he won't care at all." When Wrenn sat down next to me my heart race. I see the corner of my eye I see Geno moving his eye browns up and down. I flip him off before Wrenn could see what I just did.
"Wrenn, do you mind sitting with me in the back?" I hear Potash say to Wrenn. Wrenn looked at me and her face said it all." See I told you."
"Potash do you mind if she sit's with me." I look at Potash and he nodded his head. Wrenn was surprise that Potash let her sit next to me. On the plane ride everyone was sleeping but Wrenn and I.
"So did Potash wanted to do the interview with me?"
"Yeah he did." In her voice she was kinda upset of it but she knows that's part of broadcasting. I was already missing being home but it’s part of the job that I have to be on the road half of the time. Our last stop was in Anaheim."



Wrenn's P.O.V
We are now finally coming home from a long trip in California. All I wanted to do was take a long bath and relax. Before I wake up in the morning and head down to the radio station. After my bath I put on penguins sweats and plain black tee shirt, I went downstairs and to see that James wasn't here. I wonder where he went, after I made me a quick dinner and just went to bed. Maybe James went to bed after we got home anyway. Beside he should be more tired than me.

In the morning, I woke up at 6 AM and went for a run. I went downstairs to grab a water bottle, I see that James was still sleeping. He had his bedroom door open and I could hear him snoring. After a great run, I headed back to the house when I see that James was walking up the street.
"James what are you doing?"
"I'm heading to Pauly's house to have breakfast, do you want to join."
"Sure, I didn't know that Pauly lives by you." We walk over to Pauly's house. While James and I were eating Pauly was cleaning up.
"So Wrenn were are you from?" Paul ask.
"I was born in Denver and went to school in Phoenix. Lived in Washington D.C for a year, Philly for only 6 months and live back to Phoenix for a month, then here. I that kind of person that can’t live in one place for more than 2 years.”
“Why is that? Military?”
“Nope, my family loves to move around for no good reason. That’s why Wade and I are so close because we only had each other when we move. When I was living in Philly I was scared for my car."
"Why your car?"
"Because I have Steelers and Penguins stickers all over the back of the car." James gave a small laugh.
"Why those places?"
"Well I was hired for the Capitals and then for the Flyers. I though I would stay with Washington for the rest of my life but I got in trouble when a pictures leak out on the internet for drinking with Ovie and making out with some of the team mates. I couldn't handle being in Philly at all. I don’t even remember how I connivence why I even took the job. I needed a break for a month so I went back to Phoenix. I got a call from Dan Potash, he heard about me needed a job and that the fact I love Pittsburgh. I had to take it. The weird thing that the GM for the Washington and Philly gave Ray great responded for me when I wanted this job."
"Welcome to the team." Paul smiled.
After breakfast I had to get ready and head to the radio station. James was waiting for me in his car. I hope my car will come soon so then I don't have to take James' time for this. Once I got into the car, I scared James a little. He was looking at something at his phone.
"You ready?"
"Yea." He put his phone away and we head out.
