Missy and Leslie are at the farm. She’s putting Hockey’s bridle, saddle pad, saddle, and reins on him. She gets on him and walks him to the training track she used to train Something when she was racing. Leslie is there to time Hockey to see how fast he can go around the track. Missy goes one lap around the track. Not working him too hard. She walks him back to where Leslie was timing them.

Leslie - That was an impressive lap.
Missy - What was his time?
Leslie - He went around the track in 1:30.
Missy - That’s pretty good for his first day.
Leslie - I think he’s got some raw talent in there.
Missy - I think he does too.
Leslie - I see no reason why he couldn’t have his first start a month or two from now.
Missy - Me either. We’ll train him like this every week till we decide to race him. We’re not going to rush him. He’s a large colt and will need time to mature. He’ll be a lightly raced 2 yr old.
Leslie - So 3 or 4 starts?
Missy - My goal with him this year is getting him to the Breeders Cup in October at Santa Anita.
Leslie - Wow, that’s a pretty big goal.
Missy - I think he’s good enough to tangle with the best in the world.
Leslie - I should be heading to work.
Missy - Alright, I’ll see you tomorrow.
Leslie - Alright

Leslie leaves for work. Missy gets off of Hockey and walks him back to his stall. She gives everyone something to eat and then heads home. On the way home she starts to feel slight cramping in her abdomen. She gets home and lays down thinking that her period is showing up. Jordan comes home a short time later to see Missy sound asleep on the bed. He lays down on the bed beside her and wraps his arms around Missy. He holds her close so that they’re spooning with one another. He’s asleep a short time later until later that night. He wakes up and starts kissing and nuzzling Missy’s neck until she wakes up.

Jordan - I love you baby.
Missy - I love you too.
Jordan - You feeling ok baby? You look really pale.
Missy - I think my period is starting to show up.
Jordan - Is there anything I can do to make you feel better sweetie?
Missy - Just stay here and cuddle with me.
Jordan - I can do that.

Missy goes back to sleep. Jordan wraps his around her and gives her a kiss. He’s asleep a short time later until the next morning. Missy wakes up and gives Jordan a kiss. Jordan wakes up to see Missy smiling at him.

Missy - I love you Jordan.
Jordan - I love you too baby.
Missy - Thank you for cuddling with me yesterday.
Jordan - You’re welcome baby. Are you feeling any better?
Missy - I think so. It must have just been a 12 hr bug.
Jordan - You don’t look as pale as you did yesterday.
Missy - I wonder if I’m pregnant and that’s what the cramping was.
Jordan - I’ve been wondering the same thing.
Missy - It’s too early to take a pregnancy test so I will just have my doctor test me when I go see her in a few weeks.
Jordan - Did you want me to come with you?
Missy - I would love it if you did.
Jordan - Ok, then I’ll come with you.

Missy and Jordan spend the rest of the day cuddling in bed. A few weeks pass. Missy and Jordan are at the hospital to see if Missy is pregnant with their second baby.
