Missy and Leslie are at the farm. She’s putting Hockey’s bridle, saddle pad, saddle, and reins on him. She gets on him and walks him to the training track she used to train Something when she was racing. Leslie is there to time Hockey to see how fast he can go around the track. Missy goes one lap around the track. Not working him too hard. She walks him back to where Leslie was timing them.

Leslie - That was an impressive lap.
Missy - What was his time?
Leslie - He went around the track in 1:20.
Missy - Wow, a whole 10 seconds faster then the first time. I think he’s ready for his first race.
Leslie - I think he is too.
Missy - I’ll have to see when the 2 yr old maiden races start.
Leslie - Let me know when he’s going to race so I can help you get him loaded.
Missy - Alright, I’m going to head home before Jordan starts to worry.
Leslie - Ok, talk to you later.

Missy gets off of Hockey and walks him back to his stall. She gives everyone something to eat and then heads home. She gets home and goes into the bedroom. She lays down on the bed and is asleep a short time later. Jordan comes home a short time later to see Missy sound asleep on the bed. He lays down on the bed beside her and wraps his arms around Missy. He holds her close so that they’re spooning with one another. He’s asleep a short time later until later that night. He wakes up and starts kissing and nuzzling Missy’s neck until she wakes up.

Jordan - I love you honey.
Missy - I love you too.
Jordan - You up to having something to eat?
Missy - As long as it’s something that’s gentle on my stomach.
Jordan - You not feeling good sweetie?
Missy - I think the morning sickness is starting.
Jordan - I’ll make you some chicken soup then.
Missy - Aww, that sounds wonderful.

Jordan gets up and goes into the kitchen. He finds some of his mom’s chicken soup in the freezer. He starts heating it up. Missy comes into the kitchen and wraps her arms around Jordan.

Jordan - You must be feeling better.
Missy - A little bit but I wanted to hold you some more.
Jordan - I have no problem with that.
Missy - Hope you don’t mind the clinginess.
Jordan - Of course not. Why don’t you set the table babe?
Missy - I can do that.

Missy sets the table and lights a couple of candles. A little while later Jordan brings dinner over to the table. He sits down across from Missy and takes a hold of her hand as they’re eating. They finish eating and then goes over to couch and start cuddling. A short time later Missy falls asleep. Jordan decides to take her to bed. He picks her up and carries to their bedroom. He gently lays her down on the bed. He lays down beside her and wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. Jordan is asleep a short time later until the next morning. A few weeks pass. It’s time for Hockey’s first race. His first race will be at Presque Isle Downs in Erie, PA. Missy figured it would be too much for her colt to travel just yet.
