Gongshow

Audrey and Candice were laying in Audrey's bed while Sam and Aaron sat on the end. The two of them were playing video games, and complaining about how she didn't have an Xbox the entire time. They continued to play even as they complained.

Audrey and Candice were messing around on Audrey's laptop. They were mostly lurking people. They were currently on Kaylynn's profile. Audrey saw Kay's mom and decided to lurk her. It notified her that they had a few mutual friends. Kaylynn, Candice, and one other person.

"Is that Mack?" Candice whispered.

"Why is he a mutual friend between myself and Kaylynn's mom?" Audrey furrowed her brows.

"Maybe he accidentally added her." Aaron suggested, not looking away from the TV.

"No, she's all about only adding people she knows." Candice shook her head.

"Didn't Kay say they were old friends?" Sam paused the game, turning around.

"Yeah, but Kaylynn doesn't ever bring guys over unless she's," Candice stopped. "Oh my fucking God."

"What?" Audrey asked.

"Remember when Kaylynn was seeing that guy that she wouldn't tell us about?" Candice explained.

"It was Mack! Kaylynn dated Mack!" Audrey yelped. "SB is gonna lose it."

"We cannot tell him." Aaron spoke. "He's way into her. It'd ruin it all."

"We need to talk to her about it." Audrey frowned.

"She obviously doesn't trust us if she didn't tell us." Candice crossed her arms with a pout.

"You didn't tell anyone about Aaron until a month in!" Audrey argued as Sam climbed in next to her. "You can't even be upset." She added, ignoring Sam nuzzling her neck.

"That was because I didn't know if I actually liked him." Candice shrugged.

Aaron stopped with a dropped jaw. He was standing beside her since he was about to mimic Sam's action. Audrey and Sam let out taunting chants. Candice tilted her head back and smiled at him. He shook his head at her.

"But she obviously does now if she's been with you for like three years." Audrey tried to defend Candice.

"Stop being a big baby." Candice rolled her eyes, pulling Aaron down.

He sat next to her and pouted. She rubbed his back before she sat up and kissed his cheek. He gave up and laid down beside her.

"At least I didn't deny liking you forever like Audrey did with Sammy." Candice stated, looking over at her.

Audrey rolled her eyes, wrapping her arms around Sam. "It worked out." She grinned.

The next day at school, Audrey went on a hunt to ask Mack's closest friends if they knew. Most were shocked and promised not to tell Sam Bennett after finding out. Jo overhead the question being asked. He already knew though. He knew ever since he snooped. He pulled Audrey away.

"I knew about them." He confessed. "Mack was driving me one day and he stopped at a Tims. I got impatient and went in and they were talking about keeping it from everyone for Sam's sake."

"I'll call him and ask him where he is. He needs to know." Audrey sighed, pulling out her phone. He answered. "Sam,"

"Audrey?" He replied.

"Where are you? I need to come talk to you about something." She breathed.

"Uh, the foyer?"

"Okay. Stay there." She hung up and looked back at Jo. "Here I go."

Audrey made her way to the foyer. She walked through the halls at a normal pace. She wasn't excited to have to be the one to tell Sam, but she knew he deserved to know. She felt someone grab her hand. She spun around to see her boyfriend. She smiled at him, stopping to talk.

"Where are you off to?" He asked, pecking her lips.

"I'm going to talk to Sam Bennett." She explained.

"You're not about to meddle, are you?" Sam sighed.

"What do you mean?" She crossed her arms.

"Babe, it isn't your place to go tell Sam about Kaylynn and Mack. It's Kaylynn that's with him, not you." He told her

"What about Kaylynn and Mack?" A voice boomed from behind them.

Sam looked up and Audrey turned around. Sam Bennett was standing before them. He looked angry as his eyes flicked between them. Audrey looked up at her boyfriend. He just closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

"Just talk to one of them, man. It's not our place to talk about it." He tried to reason.

Sam Bennett just nodded with a twisted look on his face. He swung one of the doors open and stomped down to the basement. He spotted Mack with some of the guys. He went right to him.

"You need to tell me what the fuck is going on or went on between you and Kaylynn." He hissed.

"Sam, it's n,"

"Now, Mack!" He growled.

"We dated like a year and a half ago." Mack exhaled. "I didn't want to tell you."

"So she's going to leave me for you?" Sam crossed his arms.

"No! No way! She's all yours!" Mack defended. "We've both agreed to just be friends and she's more than happy with you, SB. Don't even worry about me. I'm nothing to her compared to you."

Sam took a deep breath. "Okay. I'm sorry for freaking out."

Mack and Sam bro-hugged. "It's all good. I'd be the same way if I was in your place." He mumbled to him, patting his back and pulling away.
