The Wall

Hadlee blazed into the apartment pulling her clothes off as she came through the door. Hadlee met Caroline at the stairs. "Well hello" said Caroline " Are you stripping for me?"

"We have 30 minutes to get ready!" exclaimed Hadlee " I kind of told Tyler Seguin we could be ready that quickly."

"What the hell, Had. I need to get way more time than that to catch Seguin."

"Your beautiful and you don't need to impress Seguin. In fact I am pretty sure Dougie has a major crush on you."

"Dougie is sweet, but Seguin is hot"

Hadlee was in bedroom digging in her closet. She pulled out the black bandage dress with gold glitter shot through it. Hadlee jerked her shorts off and headed to her dresser. Hadlee grabbed a matching black lace bra and panty set. She was wriggling into her bra as Caroline came in the room. Caroline was clad in a black lace dress with a nude underlay. She began digging in Hadlee's closet tossing shoes over her shoulder. She finally came out of the closet with a nude pair of strappy heels. Caroline strapped them to her feet and walked towards Hadlee who was pulling the dress over her head.

"Why, yes Caroline you can borrow my shoes." laughed Hadlee

"Bitch not everyone has guys like Tall, Hot, and Sweaty buying Jimmy Choos for them." snipped Caroline "Now do you want me to fix your hair while you do your make up."

"I was going to leave it up in the ponytail."

"Um no! Tall, Hot, and Sweaty deserves the full Hadlee. Bathroom now."

Hadlee grabbed her make up bag and followed Caroline to the bathroom. She applied her make up as Caroline started curling and fluffing large sections of her hair. Caroline and Hadlee finished their beauty routine and Caroline dubbed them hot bitches. Hadlee heard a knock on the door as she pushed her foot into her new date shoes. They were 4 inches high, strappy, and covered in black and gold glitter. Hadlee had future plans for these shoes that included Kevan's jersey and not much else. Hadlee threw the door open and ushered the guys in.
"We have 5 minutes, Miller." laughed Hadlee as she ran back into the bathroom "I need my earrings. Make yourselves at home."

Kevan laughed at Hadlee. He and Dougie were walking around the living room looking at photographs. Kevan noticed a picture of Hadlee in her law school graduation garb surrounded by 3 guys. Dougie had picked up a framed picture and was holding it out at Kevan.

"Did you realize she and Caroline were college cheerleaders?" asked Dougie showing him the proffered picture. Kevan took the picture frame from Dougie and looked at the photo. Both Caroline and Hadlee were smiling at the camera holding up a huge trophy. Hadlee had her hair pulled back part of the way and huge blue and white bow in her hair. By looking at the picture you could see how happy she was. He noticed the tiny blue paw print on her cheek in the picture. Too bad she couldn't have cheered for Vermont. Dougie thrust another photo of Hadlee at Kevan. She was standing on one foot in the palm of some guys hand. As Kevan put the photos back he noticed several photos of Hadlee at the NCAA tournament.

"Looking at Caroline's love me wall?" asked Hadlee

"I had no idea you were a NCAA cheerleader." replied Kevan

"Not my usual go to conversation starter Mr. Miller" laughed Hadlee " I'm not sure we ever played Vermont."

"Not really a basketball school."

"He played in the Frozen Four." said Dougie. Hadlee looked at Dougie confused. "It's the college ice hockey version of the Final Four." Hadlee smiled up at Kevan and hugged him. Caroline came out of the bedroom and Dougie turned almost as red as his hair.

"We rolling or what" asked Caroline. "It's 10:30 on a Friday night and she has promised me Seguin."

Hadlee rolled her eyes at Kevan. Kevan put his hand on the small of her back and led her to the door. She stopped to grab a smaller purse out of her large one. Kevan told her all she needed was her ID. Hadlee laughed and told him a girl needed her purse. They all filed into the elevator. Hadlee leaned into Kevan. Kevan took a moment to look at Hadlee. The black and gold dress fit her like a second skin. It made him wonder yet again how someone so tiny could have such long legs. Hadlee caught him staring at her legs. She had slathered herself in a glittering lotion that made her whole body have a gilded look. Kevan smiled at her. Then he noticed her shoes. They were nothing more than black and gold straps and a heel. Kevan leaned down and kissed her. Hadlee decked out in Bruins colors was a sight to be seen. "You like?" asked Hadlee.

"I like you" he replied "Your shoes match my jersey."

"I guess we will have see what they look like together." Kevin turned Hadlee towards him and kissed her. Dougie made a small coughing sound. Caroline laughed, "Come on Tall, Hot, and Sweaty you can grind up against her at the club and have inappropriate thoughts about your jersey and her fuck me heels later tonight. Because if I get my way she will be shacking up with you tonight."

"Damn it Caroline" said Hadlee "You can't throw me out of my apartment. I am an attorney. I refused to be sexiled as an adult."

Both boys laughed. They arrived at the SUV and Hadlee was trying to determine how to get into the truck without flashing Dougie the lacy boy short panties she was wearing. Kevan seemed to read her mind and picked her up by the waist and sat her in the front seat. Hadlee thanked him. Dougie helped Caroline into the back seat and scooted in behind her. They were headed to a club frequented by the Bruins. Hadlee was glad it was Friday. She had a feeling that she wouldn't be fit for court the next morning.

Arriving at the club Kevan handed the valet the keys. He walked around the truck and helped Hadlee down. Dougie helped Caroline out of the vehicle. Dougie kept his hand on the small of Caroline's back and followed Kevan and Hadlee to the VIP door. The bouncer smiled at the boys and banded all four of them.

"Miller" called the bouncer "Behave no fights."

"Get into bar fights often" asked Hadlee

"No Ma'am" replied the bouncer " But we don't want to have any issues."

Hadlee laughed and took Kevan by the hand. "I'll keep him busy."


The bouncer looked Hadlee over from top to bottom. "I'm sure you will, Doll."

The guys led them into the club. Kevan and Dougie took the girls up the small set of stairs to the VIP area. Kevan hoped this was better than usual and there weren't random puck fucks everywhere. He didn't want Hadlee upset by the bunnies. Kevan had a feeling that Caroline had plans for Segs. When they came to the top of the stairs Kevan's eyes widened, all the Bruins in town were there at the bar. Well guess Hadlee was going to meet the team ready or not. Oh great, Jesse Blacker was here too. Brad, Segs, and Blacker were a bad combination. Hadlee stepped up to the tables just ahead of Kevan.

"Hadlee Belle" yelled Marchy "Shots, shots, we have to do shots." He then grabbed Hadlee and pulled her over to the table. He laid a huge kiss on her mouth. Well that was new thought Hadlee. Brad thrust a tequila shot and a lime at Hadlee. Kevan was contemplating killing Marchy, but Hadlee appeared to be having fun. Hadlee slammed back the shot and sucked on the lime. Marchy jumped up and down beside Hadlee.

"Miller" yelled Brad " You all made it. So I'm taking Hadlee to the dance floor." With that being said he was trying to drag Hadlee to the dance floor.

"Marchy, let her go for a minute. I want to introduce her to the team." called Miller "Hadlee can dance with you later. "

Brad moved over beside Segs and Blacker and started drinking a beer. He was still bouncing with excitement. "Hads, you only brought one girl!"

"Brad, the others will be here in a little while. One of you all will have to go rescue them and bring them to VIP." laughed Hadlee. Brad bounded back over to stand beside her. Jesse Blacker had moved closer to Hadlee and was looking her over with interest. Kevan bristled but Segs leaned over and motioned at Kevan and then back at Hadlee. Segs and Blacker then turned their attention on Caroline. Hadlee laughed as Caroline informed her she would be busy the rest of the night and possibly in the morning and maybe tomorrow afternoon.

Hadlee shook her head and moved closer to Kevan. Brad was a little wild and more than a little drunk. "Hadley Belle, more shots?" he called

"No more tequila" she replied "Fireball shots."

Brad went to the VIP Bar and ordered a bottle of Fireball Whiskey and several shot glasses. Kevan saw this going sideways. But if Hadlee was happy he would gladly pay for whatever she wanted. He realized that being this happy with a girl in just 3 days was probably not the brightest plan, but he couldn't help feeling Hadlee was special.

Kevan introduced Hadlee to his teammates. Krejci and his new wife were back from their honeymoon. Hadlee shook both of their hands. She then met Bart, Smith, and Louis. He then turned to Hadlee and drew her closer to where Chara and his wife sat. Zdeno Chara stood up to greet Miller. Chara pulled Miller into a one arm hug. "Miller, you still trying to beat my pull up record?"

"We tied last year, Zee. We'll see on Wednesday." replied Kevan "Zdeno Chara this is Hadlee Reynolds."

Zdeno stood to say hello to Hadlee and shake her hand. Hadlee looked straight up at Chara. Zdeno was looking down at Hadlee. She stood just a little above hip high on Chara. His giant paw dwarfed Hadlee's hand.

"Don't break her Zee," yelled Brad "Fireball for the fireball."

Kevan explained that Chara was their captain. He explained what that meant. Hadlee shook her head. Hadlee said her hellos. Zdeno asked where she was from. Hadlee explained that she was from Kentucky. Zdeno surprised her by saying he liked Kentucky. Chara explained that he had played for the Kentucky Thoroughblades in Lexington. Hadlee told him she went to college and law school at UK. They discussed Kentucky. Chara confessed he missed some of the food in the southern state particularly hot browns and derby pie. Hadlee promised to bake Chara a pie. Chara leaned down and whispered something to Kevan. It sounded like Kevan said I know in response.

Hadlee noticed a blonde woman staring at her. The blonde was perched on the arm of a chair almost in the lap of a large dark haired dark eyed guy. Hadlee and Kevan made their way towards the couple. Kevan leaned down and kissed the blonde on the cheek. Hadlee couldn't make out what they said for the roar of the club. The blonde stepped forward and told Hadlee that she liked her shoes.

"You are Britt" asked Hadlee. The blonde nodded. "Kevan speaks kindly about y'all. He said that you try and take care of them."

"Yes, I am married to Milan Lucic" replied Britt "Milan come meet Kevan's girl Hadlee"

Looch also towered over Hadlee. "So Miller" he said to Kevan "You checked this little lady to the ground. I usually refrain from tackling women." He held his huge hand out to Hadlee. He shook her hand and pulled her in for a one armed hug. "Don't break him. We need him" he said to Hadlee. Hadlee's head spun as she met several more of the Bruins. Marchand told her that there would be a quiz when she was sober.

"Brad, I am sober" laughed Hadlee.

"Shots, Hadlee Belle" yelled Brad "Fireball shots. You need to catch up."

Hadlee looked at Kevan. He told her to have fun. He took a seat next to Looch and Chara. Hadlee handed him her purse and he sat it in the chair with him. He watched as Hadlee, Marchy, Segs, Blacker, Caroline, and Dougie did several shots of whiskey. Hadlee came over and kissed him. He could taste the cinnamon whiskey on her lips.

"This sitting thing is still awesome, Miller" giggled Hadlee " Do you want to dance with me?"

"For your own safety I think I'll sit the dancing out. Go with Marchy."

Hadlee pouted at him for a minute "Promise you will at least come stand on the floor later and let me use you as my personal stripper pole." Hadlee winked at him then flounced off to do another shot. Kevan stared after her. They did a few more shots and headed to the dance floor in the VIP area. He sat and watched as Hadlee danced with Marchy. Wiggling and rolling her hips in time to the music. Marchy would grind and against her and Hadlee would dance with him. Kevan knew with her college background that she was probably a way better dancer than Kevan. He however was intrigued by Hadlee's last comment. He watched as Blacker tried to dance with her. Hadlee would move away and back to Marchy. She and Caroline both danced with Seguin. After 4 or 10 songs they came back to the tables to do more shots. Kevan was pacing himself and at the moment was drinking water. Hadlee flopped down in Kevan's lap. She kissed his jaw and then kissed her way to his mouth. She looked at him and asked "Sorry, I should have asked if it was okay for me to kiss you in front of your teammates."

"Babe, you can kiss me anytime you want" said Kevan "In fact I think you should do it again so Blacker is clear who you are leaving this bar with." That being said Kevan kissed her. Their mouths fused, their tongues stroked one another, and Hadlee felt aftershocks. Hadlee nipped his lips. The entire team was looking at Kevan and Hadlee. Extreme PDA was not something Miller was known for. There were hoops, hollers, and lots of Millertime chants in the VIP area. Hadlee blushed and hid her face in the collar of Kevan's shirt.

"If you're still blushing Hadlee you need more shots, eh?" hollered Marchand. Hadlee attempted to crawl out of Kevan's lap but was a little unsteady. Kevan grabbed her waist and sat her up straight and winked at her. "You okay, baby girl?"

Hadlee sashayed over to Marchy and called over her shoulder "You might have to carry me home, Miller!" There was another chorus of shots, shots, shots. Someone snapped a photo of Hadlee and Marchy doing fireball shots. Soon instagram and other social media was alive with pictures captioned Fireball and Lil Ball of Hate. Hadlee downed another shot and looked around. She couldn't find Caroline but then again she couldn't find Seguin or Blacker either. Hadlee went over to Dougie and sat on his leg.

"Don't give up on her" she whispered "He'll burn bright while he is in Boston but we both know he is headed for Dallas. Blacker will go where ever Blacker goes. Hell is he even a hockey player?" Dougie started laughing. "What it's a serious question?" She ruffled Dougie's hair and kissed his cheek.

"No serious questions" yelled Brad "Wait what was the question?"

"She asked if Blacker was even a hockey player?" crowed Dougie

The crowd laughed Looch looked at Hadlee "He is a 2 way player."

Hadlee wrinkled her nose at Looch "It thought he was awfully close with Tyler."

Brad lost his shit at that point laughing. "Hads, that means he goes between the AHL and NHL." Hadlee leaned over and hugged Brad. "Sure that's what they all say." Kevan and Looch were conversing and laughing.

Brad and Hadlee hit the dance floor. They were jumping with their hands in the air to a Macklemore song. Kevan watched Hadlee throw her head back and laugh. He loved watching her. The girl could move. She and Marchand were having a blast. Hadlee crooked her finger at him trying to get him on the floor. He shook his head no. Hadlee then started grinding on Marchy. Still wanting him to come to her. Kevan was sitting his beer down when Hadlee bounced over to him. Brad was talking to the DJ. Hadee had him by the hand trying to pull him to the dance floor. "Miller cooperate, I want one dance with you. Brad's lining up a song. Said he knows exactly the one."

Brad passed several bills over to the DJ and gave Hadlee a thumbs up. Kevan snuggled Hadlee up against him and they walked to the dance floor. The previous song was going off. Marchy and the rest of the Bruins circled around him and Hadlee. Kevan heard the opening strains and began shaking his head. Hadlee and Marchand were bouncing up and down to the opening strains of California Love by Tupac. Kevan and the Bruins all began laughing and teasing Kevan as Hadlee was grinding up against him while rapping with Brad. Hadlee was working her body against his. He wasn't sure he was gonna survive Hadlee shaking her ass at his crotch. He was sure with each refrain "Shake it baby, Shake it." That Hadlee could feel how much he wanted her. Hadlee and Brad started bouncing again rapping along with Tupac. Hadlee turned to face Kevan. He pushed his knee between her legs and she ground herself against it. Kevan was pretty sure that his entire team was watching him get hard with Hadlee dancing to this stupid song. Hadlee motioned for him to lean down. Hadlee locked her lips on his. She licked and sucked on his bottom lip. Kevan's tongue glided across her lips. He kissed her breathless then carried her off the dance floor to his chair.

"Don't move Hadlee" growled Kevan. Sexy growly Kevan was fucking hot. She wiggled around in his lap. She kissed down his jaw. "Please Hadlee" he pled. Hadlee could feel how turned on Kevan was against her hip. Hadlee snuggled into his lap. He was warm, so solid, and smelled like the ocean again. "My wall" murmured Hadlee.

"Hadlee Belle" yelled Marchand " Shots?"

"I'm done, Bradley!" she called.

"No way! Bradley and Hadlee need more shots!" laughed Marchand " Haha, we rhyme."

Hadlee lifted Kevan's arm and looked at his watch. She squinted at it. Kevan laughed and looked at it. "Babe, it's 3:30am"

She stood up and walked over to Brad. She kissed him and gave him a big hug. "Later, Lil ball of hate!"

Brad smiled at Hadlee "Night Fireball." Hadlee looked over her shoulder at Kevan. He took Hadlee by the hand and said his goodbyes. Dougie promised to pour Marchy into cab and get both of them home. Hadlee said goodbye to his teammates.

"Take me home, Miller!" said Hadlee. His teammates made more Millertime comments. Kevan gave a wave over his shoulder at his teammates.
