Melody has decided it’s time to tell Ian that she’s pregnant. She doesn’t know how he’ll react but since she believes it was Ian who got her pregnant he has a right to know. They meet at the coffee shop near Melody’s apartment.

Melody - I know you want nothing to do with me but I figured I’d tell you that you got me pregnant.
Ian - Yeah right sounds like you’re making up lies again. The entire campus knows about how you lied about me raping you.
Melody - (Takes off her jacket revealing her tiny 3 month baby bump) Think I’m lying now?
Ian - Well I guess you are pregnant but I don’t remember ever having sex with you so it can’t possibly be mine.
Melody - Oh my god you’re stupid. Back in July you came over to my apartment and forced yourself on me.
Ian - Oh right that. You were turned on you little slut so I never raped you.
Melody - I didn’t want to have sex with you and now I have this baby growing inside me as a reminder of what you did to me.
Ian - Then get it aborted.
Melody - I won’t do that. He or she deserves a good life even if you won’t be in their life.
Ian - You’re the stupid one keeping a baby you didn’t want.
Melody - I will raise this baby. It deserves to loved even it’s only me who loves it.
Ian - And you will never date another guy ever again. They won’t want to date you when they see how fat you’re getting.
Melody - I don’t care about that. I don’t need a man to be happy right now.
Ian - Glad you think that way cuz no guy would date a woman with a baby.
Melody - We’ll see about that. One day I will find the boy of my dreams and when I do I will rub your face in it.
Ian - Well after your baby is born you’re going to have to diet or starve yourself. All guys are alike and want a smoking hot model.
Melody - Just get out of my face.
Ian - Gladly

Ian leaves in a huff. Melody gets up and heads to her apartment. She goes into her bedroom and lays down on her. She starts to cry cuz she is tired of being verbally abused by Ian. She cries herself to sleep and then starts having that sex dream again. This time she can see the guy’s face. She wakes up suddenly and calls Leslie after calming herself down.

Leslie - What’s wrong hon?
Melody - It was that dream again but this time I could I see his face.
Leslie - Ok, so do you know who he is?
Melody - I think he was James Neal.
Leslie - Really?
Melody - Yes, why would I be having about him? I don’t even know him.
Leslie - Of course you do. Don’t you remember hooking up with him when you went to St Lucia?
Melody - I would remember if I had sex with him but I don’t. I remember going to St Lucia but don’t remember hooking up with anyone.
Leslie - Wow, I had no idea that what happened to you has messed with your memories.
Melody - I can remember parts of my life before then but not everything. I feel that something happened in St Lucia but I can’t remember what. I guess it must not have been important if I can’t remember.
Leslie - I’m so sorry that your life has changed for the worse.
Melody - Thanks, I just wish I could get my life back to normal. I’m thinking about dropping out of school.
Leslie - Wow, what happened to make you want to do that?
Melody - The entire campus knows about what happened to me. Everyone thinks I made the whole thing up. (Starts to cry) Every my friend Kaylee hasn’t spoken to me since then. I feel so alone. I have no one to talk to here that cares about me.
Leslie - Oh sweetie I’m so sorry no one will help you. You shouldn’t have to go through this alone. Is there anyone on campus you can talk to?
Melody - Everyone on campus hates me. I tried talking to people after it happened and no one believes me.
Leslie - That’s awful sweetie. There has to be someone who knows what you’re going through.
Melody - I don’t think anyone understands and that’s why I feel so alone.
Leslie - You need a boyfriend to take care of you.
Melody - You really think that would help?
Leslie - You bet I do. Go back to sleep hon.
Melody - Sounds like a good idea.
Leslie - I’ll call you tomorrow to see how you’re doing.
Melody - Ok, talk to you later.
Leslie - Hang in there hon. Things will get better.
Melody - I hope you’re right.

The girls hang up. Melody goes back to sleep. She’s asleep again the minute her head hit’s the pillow. She’s asleep till the next morning. It’s now Halloween and Melody is hoping to be invited to the biggest Halloween party on campus.
