Melody is in St Lucia for a much needed vacation. Ian went with but ditched Melody as soon as they got there, which Melody has no problem with. She heads up to her room to drop off her bags. She decides to change clothes. She puts her hair up, puts on one of her bikini tops, a pair of shorts, and her flip flops. She decides to take a walk on the beach. As she sits in the sand watching the sunset a very rude woman walks over to her chewing her out with what she’s wearing.

Woman - Good lord puts some clothes on you slut.
Melody - Excuse me, who the hell do you think you are judging me about what I’m wearing?
Woman - There are little kids here and they shouldn’t see a half naked woman.
Melody - Well then you might want to yell at every woman here cuz they’re all in bikinis. So please get out of my face before things get ugly.
Woman - Oh so you’re just here to have sex with every guy on the beach.
Melody - No, I’m here cuz I finished my finals at school a month ago and thought I deserved a little vacation before summer classes start at the end of the month. If a guy wants to hook up with me and have a fling while I’m here that’s none of your business.
Woman - (Laughs) No guys would come near you.
Melody - What makes you think that?
Woman - Just look at you. You aren’t skinny enough to have a guy want to touch you.
Melody - We’ll see about that.

The rude woman leaves. Melody gets up and heads to the out door restaurant that’s near the hotel. She orders food. The guys that are there all scoff when they walk by and see Melody. Her food arrives. She eats and then heads back up to her room. She lays down on her bed and starts to cry when her cell rings.

Leslie - Mel, what’s wrong hon?
Melody - I was getting dirty looks with how I look when I was out on the beach.
Leslie - Oh come on you can’t look that bad. Take a picture of yourself so I can see what you’re wearing.
Melody - Well ok (She takes her cell phone and takes a picture of her beach outfit for Leslie to see)
Leslie - I don’t see anything wrong with what you’re wearing.
Melody - I just want a guy to look at me and not judge me for not being skinny.
Leslie - Don’t worry hon. Some cute guy will want to have a short fling with you.
Melody - I hope so.
Leslie - You have two weeks right?
Melody - Yeah I’m staying for two weeks then heading back.
Leslie - Aww, then don’t worry about it. If it happens it happens. Don’t beat yourself up if it doesn’t.
Melody - I know but it’s hard when I see all these pretty girls with hot boyfriends.
Leslie - Aww, I know it’s hard on you not being a model and not having a boyfriend who will tell you that you’re beautiful.
Melody - I’ve never heard those words said to me before and that’s all I want is for a guy to say I’m pretty.
Leslie - And it’s sad Ian won’t say that to you. You need to leave him hon. He’s going to either hurt you or break your heart.
Melody - I know I need to but for some reason I can’t.
Leslie - I know there’s still a part of you that still loves him but please be careful.
Melody - I’ll be careful.
Leslie - I know you will cuz you’re smart.
Melody - Maybe I’ll just enjoy myself and not worry about guys not finding me hot or not cuz I know there’s one out there somewhere.
Leslie - There you go. Don’t worry about it.
Melody - I’m going to go for a walk.
Leslie - Ok

The girls hang up. Melody puts on a beach dress and then takes a walk on the beach under the moonlight. She sees a very cute guy sitting on a boulder looking out towards the ocean. She walks over to him and sits beside him not saying anything. He smiles when he sees Melody sitting next to him.

James - Well this is a nice surprise having a pretty girl sitting next to me.
Melody - (Smiles) Do you really thinking I’m pretty?
James - I sure do. Do you have a name beautiful?
Melody - (Smiles) My name is Melody but you can call me Mel.
James - Nice to meet you Mel. I’m James.
Melody - Nice to meet you too James.
James - What’s a pretty girl like yourself doing here by yourself?
Melody - I came with my boyfriend but he ditched me as soon as we got here.
James - I don’t know why he would want to ditch you but that’s his loss.
Melody - Trying to ask me out?
James - (Blushes and smiles sheepishly) Only if you would want to hang out with me.
Melody - I would love to.
James - Really?
Melody - Sure, you’re really sweet and really cute.
James - Did you want me to walk you back to your room?
Melody - I would like that.

James gets down from the boulder he was sitting on and helps Melody up. They both blush when they see that they’re holding hands. James apologizes to Melody for grabbing her hand. Melody smiles and tells James it doesn’t bother her. As they’re walking back to their rooms James takes a hold of Melody’s hand. They get to Melody’s room.

James - Thanks for hanging out with me tonight.
Melody - You’re welcome James.
James - I’ll be by tomorrow. We’ll explore more of this beach.
Melody - Sounds like fun.
James - I’ll see you then. Have a good night.
Melody - You too James.

Before he heads back to his room he gives Melody a kiss. He leaves for his room. Melody smiles and sighs as she watches him leave. She then realizes who she's been talking to. She smiles and makes a high pitched squealing noise. She unlocks the door and goes inside. She closes the door and locks it. She leans up against the door and sighs. She gets ready for bed when her cell phone rings.

Leslie - Wow, someone sounds like they’re in love. What happened tonight?
Melody - I just met a very sweet guy.
Leslie - Aww, does he have a name.
Melody - His name is James.
Leslie - Well I saw on Twitter yesterday that James Neal was going to spend some time in St Lucia for a week or two.
Melody - Oh my god. That’s who was flirting with me. I didn’t realize it was him till he left from walking me to my room.
Leslie - Oh wow, you have to tell me everything.
Melody - I was taking a walk on the beach I see him perched on a boulder looking out towards the ocean. I walk over to him and sit down next to him. Then he smiles at me and says he was surprised to see a pretty girl sitting next to him.
Leslie - Aww, what else happened?
Melody - He asked me out and held my hand as he walked me back to my room.
Leslie - Aww, that is so cute.
Melody - He apologized for grabbing my hand when he helped me up from the sand.
Leslie - Aww, he is so sweet.
Melody - He is really sweet and damn he is sexier in person.
Leslie - Well there’s the fling you wanted.
Melody - You really think things would become romantic between us?
Leslie - You bet and maybe one day you two will become more then just a fling.
Melody - That would nice. I’m going to head to bed.
Leslie - Ok night

The girls hang up and Melody gets into bed. She falls asleep a short time later until the next morning. It’s the next morning. Melody gets ready to spend the day with James.
