Melody is sitting on her bed with all her textbooks study for a test she has in the morning. She always keeps her door locked but not tonight cuz she was expecting Kaylee to come over to watch a movie together. She gets a text from her saying she’ll be over around 9. As she’s studying she hears a noise outside her door. Ian breaks down the door and comes into Melody’s bedroom. He throws Melody’s books on the floor and gets on top of her and starts undressing her. Melody starts getting upset.

Melody - What the hell are you doing? Get off of me. You’re drunk Ian. I don’t want to have sex with you.
Ian - (Slurs) Shut up

Ian starts kissing Melody neck. The kissing becomes very aggressive that it‘s starting to hurt her. Melody starts crying.

Melody - Please stop Ian. You’re hurting me.
Ian - (Slurs) I told you to shut up you slut.

Melody starts shaking as Ian continues to have sex with her. As he’s thrusting Melody grabs one of her high healed boots and starts smacking him with it trying to get him to stop. Ian grabs the boot and throws in across the room. Melody feels herself orgasm. Thinking he’s done Melody lets out a sigh of relief but no he goes in for round two. As she’s having 4 or 5 orgasms she grabs one of her books and hits him in the back of head with it until it knocks him out. She rolls him off of her. She grabs her clothes and gets dressed. She grabs her keys and cell phone and gets out of there. She heads to the police station and reports the rape and then heads to the hospital. She starts crying hoping anyone can hear her. Her heart is racing.

Melody - Somebody please help me. I’ve been raped.

She passes out cuz of the amount of pain she’s in. A couple of nurses find Melody passed out and quickly get her into a room. A little while later she comes to and rubs her head. She asks the nurse looking after her what happened.

Nurse - You passed out hon.
Melody - (Rubs her head again) God I feel like I’ve been run over by a truck.
Nurse - Do you remember anything?
Melody - I was raped by my boyfriend. Please I beg you help me. I can feel blood dripping down my leg.
Nurse - Ok I will find a doctor to help with your rape exam.
Melody - Ok

The nurse leaves the room to find the doctor that’s on call. Melody closes her eyes wishing James would come rescue her. She lays there in pain. The doctor and nurse come back into Melody’s room and spend the rest of the night performing a rape exam. It shows she has the classic signs of rape. The doctor sends the report to the cops. She gives Melody a whole battery of medications. The puts some pain medication in Melody’s IV as she has to stay at least over night. Melody is asleep a short time later until later the next morning. She wakes up and sees Leslie sitting in the chair next to her bed. She winces cuz she’s still in a little bit of pain.

Leslie - You ok hon?
Melody - I hurt like hell.
Leslie - I’m so sorry Ian hurt you. Is there anything I can do for you?
Melody - Stay with me. I don’t want to be in my apartment alone.
Leslie - I can do that. I hope you reported being raped.
Melody - Of course I did.
Leslie - I hope they throw that jerk in jail.
Melody - You know who the first person I thought of and wanting them beside me protecting me?
Leslie - James?
Melody - Yes
Leslie - Funny you mention him cuz look who I found and brought with me.
Melody - (Her eyes get really big and smiles when sees James come into the room) He…Hey
Leslie - Now that you’re in good hands I’m going to go.

Leslie leaves for a while leaving Melody and James alone. James sits on the bed next to Melody.

Melody - What are you doing here?
James - Your friend messaged me on Twitter telling me you were in the hospital. Are you ok?
Melody - I’m so sore after being raped last night.
James - I’m so sorry you were hurt. Is there anything I can do for you?
Melody - Just stay here.
James - Of course I will.
Melody - Sadly with all the medication running through me I probably won’t even remember that you were here to see me.
James - It’s ok. I’ll stay with you anyway.
Melody - Aww, thank you.
James - You’re welcome Mel. Do you need anything?
Melody - Can you ask the nurse for some ice in a glass and can you go to the cafeteria and get me some water?
James - Of course I can. I’ll be right back, ok?
Melody - Ok

James leaves the room. Melody sighs having the boy of her dreams taking care of her. Sadly she probably won’t remember any of it due to the strong medication she’s on. She falls asleep. James comes back and sees Melody is sound asleep. He puts her water on the table next that’s right next to the bed. He sits in the chair that’s by the bed and holds Melody’s hand he leans forward and gives her a kiss. The doctor keeps Melody in the hospital an extra day just to make sure she’s ok. She’s allowed to go home and is given pain killers to take as she’s still in a lot of pain. Melody asks James if he can stay with her for a couple days till she’s stops hurting. He agrees that she shouldn’t be alone. They go to her apartment. James tells her to go lay down. She takes a pain pill and then goes to lay down on her bed. James joins her. He lays down beside her. She snuggles up to James goes right to sleep. James wraps his arm around her and is asleep a short time later until later that night. James stays with Melody for a couple days and then heads back to Pittsburgh. A few days pass and Ian is arrested for raping Melody. The next week Melody is in court having to relive the horror from that night.
