James has an off day. He’s is at the store buying things for the Valentine’s dinner he’s planning on making for Melody. He plans on making all her favorite foods. Like he did for her birthday. Melody is taking a much needed nap. A few hours later James goes upstairs to tell Melody dinner is ready. They go back down stairs. James leads Melody to the kitchen table where she sees that James made all her favorite foods. She smiles and gives James a kiss.

James - Well baby what do you think?
Melody - I can’t believe you went to all the trouble for me.
James - I felt like spoiling you today.
Melody - Aww, that is so sweet.
James - Lets eat before things get cold.

They sits down. As they’re eating Melody takes a hold of James’s hand and tells him that it was so sweet of him to make dinner for them. They finish eating. James cleans up the table. He joins Morgan on the couch. They start cuddling when James gives her a gift bag. Melody opens the bag and finds cute Zelda maternity clothes, a new gaming controller, and a statue of Link’s horse Epona. She smiles and gives James a kiss.

Melody - Thank you sweetie for the nice gifts.
James - You’re welcome baby.
Melody - I got you a little something too. (Hands James a gift bag)

James opens the bag and smiles when he sees a replacement Nintendo 3DS for the one that got broke in the move to Nashville and James has been very upset that broke.

James - Thank you baby. I can’t believe you found an exact replacement for my 3DS that broke when we moved here.
Melody - That’s why they invented EBay.
James - You are so great.
Melody - (Smiles) I already knew that.
James - I got our son a little something.
Melody - Aww, what did you get him?
James - (Hands Mel the bag) Here see for yourself.
Melody - (Opens the bag and laughs) You got him a plush Cucco?
James - I found a lady who makes plush Nintendo characters and this one is big and soft that he can sleep with it.
Melody - Aww, how about we wait and give it to him on his birthday?
James - That’s a great idea.
Melody - Is it ok if I go to bed?
James - Sure it is baby. I’ll be up soon.
Melody - Ok

Melody gives James a kiss and then goes up stairs. James turns off the lights and locks the front door. He goes up stairs. He goes to check on Deter. By the time he goes into the bedroom Melody is already in bed and asleep. He quietly gets ready for bed. He lays down beside her and wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. He’s asleep a short time later. A month passes. It’s now the day before Deter’s 1st birthday.
