James and Melody are at the doctor to determine the sex of Melody‘s. James is holding Melody’s hand as he tries to comfort her.

James - It’ll be ok baby. Everything will be ok.
Melody - I know I’m just a little nervous.
James - It’s ok baby. I’m nervous too.
Melody - You are?
James - You bet I am. I never thought I would be a father again.
Melody - Aww, and you’ll be a wonderful father.
James - Do you really think so?
Melody - Of course I do. You are so good with Deter and will love this little one just as much.

James gives Melody a kiss when the doctor comes into the room. She performs and ultrasound on Melody’s belly.

Doctor Jade - Wow, didn’t see that on the first ultrasound.
Melody - What?
Doctor Jade - Your pregnant with twins.
Melody - Wow, that’s amazing. Right sweetie?
James - (Smiles) It sure is. I wasn’t expecting twins.
Doctor Jade - Did you want to know the sex of your twins?
Melody - Sure
Doctor Jade - Your twins are one of each.
Melody - Wow, that’s wonderful. Right sweetie?
James - (Smiles) It sure is.
Doctor Jade - Since pregnant with twins I want to see you a few more times then normal.
Melody - Ok, I can do that.

James and Melody head home. They get home. They decide to call James’s mom and tell her what they found out at the doctor. They put her on speaker phone.

Deborah - So what did you find out at the doctor?
Melody - I’m pregnant with twins.
Deborah - Twins? I wasn’t expecting that.
James - We weren’t either. Melody’s doctor said the second baby was hiding.
Deborah - So are you having boys or girls?
Melody - One of each.
Deborah - Wow, that’s great you guys. You sound really tired Mel.
Melody - I think I’m going to go lay down.
James - Ok, babe I’ll join you in a little bit.

Melody goes up stairs to take a nap while James continues to talk to his mom. He turns the speaker phone off.

James - I can’t believe Melody is carrying twins.
Deborah - I’m sure it was a big shock when you saw the two babies on the ultrasound
James - It sure was.
Deborah - How has her morning sickness been?
James - It comes and goes.
Deborah - You should go cuddle with her. It would make her feel better.
James - I think I will. Talk to you later Mom.
Deborah - Ok
James - I love you Mom.
Deborah - I love you too sweetie.

James goes upstairs. He goes into the bedroom to check on Melody. He sees that she is sound asleep. He goes over to the bed and lays down beside her. He wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. He is asleep a short time later until later that night. James and Melody get up and are cuddling on the couch for a little while. James gets up and makes them both a couple of smoothies. As they’re drinking their smoothies. James notices Melody has some smoothie on her lips. He decides to kiss it off with his lips. Melody sighs as James kisses her lips. James decides to take Melody to bed. They head up stairs. They go into their bedroom and get ready for bed. While Melody is getting ready for bed James goes into Deter’s nursery to check on him. He picks him up and goes over to the rocking chair and starts rocking him as he gives Deter a bottle. James gently burps Deter and puts him back in his crib. He leans forward and kisses Deter on the forehead and tells him how much he loves him. He leaves the nursery and goes back into the bedroom. He sees that Melody is already asleep. He lays down on the bed beside Melody and wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. He’s asleep a short time later until the next morning. A week passes and James gets ready to face his former team.
