Melody is in her sewing room finishing up her, James’s, and Deter’s Halloween costumes. James then comes home from practice.

James - Mel? Babe? Where are you?
Melody - Sewing room sweetie.

James comes into Melody’s sewing room and is in awe when he sees the costumes Melody has made.

James - Wow, baby, these are amazing.
Melody - Do you really think so?
James - You bet I do and I’m looking forward to wearing the costume you made for me to wear at the team Halloween party.
Melody - That’s really sweet James.
James - I mean it honey. Would you and Deter be my dates to the party?
Melody - (Smiles) Of course we will. Why don’t you try this on so I know it fits or if I have to tweak it.
James - Well ok

James takes the costume and goes into the down stairs bathroom to try on the costume. He short time later he comes into Melody’s sewing room.

Melody - (Laughs) You make a pretty sexy Link.
James - (Laughs) I feel stupid.
Melody - Aww, you look cute sweetie. Why don’t you go change and I’ll fix us some lunch?
James - (Smiles) Good cuz I’m starving.
Melody - Anything special you want sweetie?
James - My mom frozen some of my birthday dinner so I could have leftovers. Can you heat it up for me?
Melody - Of course I will.

James goes into the bathroom to change. Melody goes into kitchen to make lunch. James comes out of the bathroom and hangs the costume back in Melody’s sewing room. He goes into the kitchen and wraps his arms around Melody. He starts nuzzling and kissing her neck. He then whispers in her ear.

James - I love you baby.
Melody - (Sighs)I love you too.
James - Is lunch almost ready?
Melody - Sure is sweetie. Why don’t you go set the table?
James - I can do that.

James sets the table and lights a couple candles. Melody dishes lunch and joins James at the table. As they’re eating Melody takes a hold of James’s hand and tells him how much she loves him. They get done eating. James helps Melody pick up the table. They go over to the couch and start cuddling until Melody’s tablet goes off. It’s her sister wanting to chat. Melody hit’s the talk button.

Elyse - Aww, look at you two cuddling.
Melody - What did you want?
Elyse - See how you’re feeling.
Melody - I’m ok other then I feel like I’m 6 months pregnant instead of 4 ½ months.
Elyse - Aww, but you look beautiful.
Melody - James said the same thing.
Elyse - You two look so cute cuddling like that.
Melody - We’ve been doing that a lot lately.
James - It makes Mel feel better when she’s not feeling well.
Elyse - Aww, I’m sure it does.
Melody - Just wait till you see the costumes I made for James, Deter, and I for the Preds team Halloween party.
Elyse - Oh my god. I can’t wait to see them.
James - Your sister has some talent when it comes to costume making.
Elyse - Her gaming costumes for cosplay were amazing. Her Aveyond and Zelda costumes were wonderful.
Melody - I would wear them when I would do my gaming videos.
James - (Laughs) I would have liked to have seen that.
Melody - Not happening now. Can’t wear them till after I have these twins.
Elyse - You look tired hon. Why don’t you go take a nap with James?
Melody - Sounds like a good idea.
Elyse - I’ll talk to you guys later.

Elyse and Melody hang up. Melody turns off her tablet. She lays her head back on James’s chest and goes right to sleep. James wraps his arm around her and goes right to sleep until later that night. A few days pass and it’s now the night of the Halloween party. Melody and James are still at the house getting ready. They both start laughing when they see each others costumes.

James - (Laughs) What are you suppose to be? A pregnant Zelda?
Melody - (Laughs) Yes, yes I am and you make a very sexy Link.
James - You ready to go?
Melody - Can you go get Deter?
James - Sure babe

James goes up stairs to get Deter so that Melody can put his costume on him. James comes back down stairs with Deter and gives him to Melody so that she can put his costume on him.

James - So what he’s suppose to be?
Melody - He’s a chicken.
James - (Laughs) Oh the dreaded Cucco. He does look cute though.
Melody - Yes he does.
James - We should be going babe.
Melody - Alright, lets go.

James, Melody, and Deter head to the team Halloween party. James mingles with the guys from the team while Melody talks with the other wives and girlfriends. The team always has a costume contest for which player and wife or girlfriend has the best costumes. The party lasts for a few hours. Before everyone leaves the winners of costume contest are announced. James, Melody, and Deter take first place. They get to take home the trophy till next year. They head home. James and Melody go up stairs. They change clothes and then put the costumes back in Melody’s costume making room. James takes Deter and gets him changed. He takes him up stairs and gets him ready for bed. He goes into his and Melody’s bed room and sees that Melody is already asleep. He lays down on the bed beside Melody and wraps his arms around her so that they’re spooning with one another. He’s asleep a short time later until the next morning. It’s now Christmas time.
