A Part of Me
Chapter 1
Sidney's pov:
We just finished our game against the Flames which we lost 2-4, and we were all getting our stuff packed up to go home. It is just past 5, and all I really want to do is go home because I am so tired, which I can't because i need to go to the grocery store.
I put all my bags into the back of my range rover, and I am off the the grocery store. It is not far from the United Center, which is awsome, so I don't have to drive all over town. I park my car farther to the back of the store and hop out of my car and go to get a cart. I walk into the grocery store and head the the fruit and vegetables. I grab a few items and head to the sports drinks isle. As i turn the corner I run into another persons cart. "Oh shit, i'm sorry". Don't worry about it" a girl says. She looks at me and she is absolutely beautiful. I stand there not knowing what to say until she speaks up "I'm Leah" she says as she sticks her hand out for me to shake. "Sid" I reply. "Good to meet you, but I better get going I got to get some sports drinks". "I was just heading there too", I say nervously. We walk down side by side just talking about our hobby's and jobs. I know i just met this girl but I already like her, and I am pretty sure she still has no clue who I am. "Well, I should get going, but we should go out to lunch or dinner sometime, here is my number, you can call or text me, but I hope I get to see you again" I say nervously. "Yes, I will let you know, it was good to meet you" she says back. I really want to get to know this girl better.
Kylies pov:
I walk out to my 2014 escalade that i had just bought for myself, after paying for for the grocerys, and loaded them into the trunk. I got into the car and I called my babysitter and told her I was on on way home. When I got home I saw my daughter running out of the front door and she jumped into my arms "Mommyy!" she screamed. "Hi baby, do you want to help me get food into the house?" "Ok mommy, what can i bring?" she asked. "How about you bring in the 3 loafs of bread and then come back out?" "Ok". As she was walking back into the house I remembered about Sidney. I took the paper that he sketched his number on and dialed it.
"Hello"? he answered
"Hey, Sid right"
"Yes, may I ask who this is"?
"Oh, sorry, It's leah"
"Oh haha, I'm sorry, I didn't recognize your voice, what's up?
"Nothing really, I was just calling about lunch, when are you free"?
"Well, I can do tomorrow at 2, does that work for you"?
"Ya, that's fine, were would you like to meet"
"Actually, I was thinking we can meet at Zeke's cafe, and the we can do something after"
"yes, actually I think I have a good idea of what we can do after"
"ok, i'm exited Leah, but i really have to go and get some work done, so can I talk to you later"?
"yeah, sounds good, i will see you later"
"ok bye Leah"
"Bye Sid"
I turned around and seen Olivia standing there and lokking up at me, "are you going to go see a boy tomorrow" she said with a smirked and I laughed at how smart she was for a 2 year old.
"How about we go and watch tv until bed time hun"
"ok mommy" she replied as I picked her up and went the living room. I couldn't stop thinking about tomorrow and I was scared that we would go to fast and then get my heart broken again, but I just have to wait until tomorrow to see.
Befor I fell asleep i texted sid, and said "be sure to bring jeans along or wear them for what i have planned"
This was gonna be fun.
