Chapter 19
Leah's pov:
It was only 1 week after the assault, and Sid and I had went to write a report a few days ago, and we were just waiting for whoever hurt me, to be found. It was not Claude, they had proof it wasn't by video. Sid was just on his way home from practice, and I had all kids screamind and crying.
"Olivia, sit down and stop throwing your food"! I yelled sitting her back down on the chair.
"No" She said trying to kick me.
"Would you just knock it off, I need to deal with your sisters"! I yelled.
"No"! She yelled trying to get off the couch again.
"Fucking Jesus Christ"! I yelled dropping a glass vase off of the coffee table.
"See what you did know Olivia" I said yelling at her. She got off the couch and ran into her room crying.
I hated everything, Sid never being here when I need him the most, kids screaming all the time, me getting stresses, and taking it out on Olivia.
"Olivia" I said quietly walking into her room.
"No, Leave me alone"! She said rolling over on her bed.
"I am sorry, I just need you to listen" I said sitting beside her.
"I WANT DADDY, NOT YOU"! she yelled hitting me.
I walked out of the room and slammed the door.
"Why does this have to be my life" I said leaning over the counter and felt the hot tears streaming down my face.
"Leah" Sid said setting his gym bag down on the front door.
"DADDY"! Olivia said running over crying into Sid's chest.
"Leah, what happened to my house, it looks like a tornado happend" He said looking around.
"YOU DID" I yelled walking in and slamming the door to the bedroom.
"Come on, I was kidding, what's up Leah"? He said sitting down on the bed.
"I can't take this anymore, I cannot do this alone"! I said rubbing my eyes.
"Can't take what" He asked rubbing my back.
"Single parenting, it will not work out, I can't do it again" I said quietly.
"you are not alone Leah, you know I am here as much as I can" He said.
"It suck's, all they do it scream and cry, Olivia hates me, and the twins are going to start crawling in how long, I can't do this" I said.
"First off, Olivia does not hate you, and second, the twins are not going to start crawling for a couple months, and it will be summer" He said.
"See, I fucking told you"! I yelled getting up to go get the twins that were screaming.
"Well there alone in the living room and it is not there nap time, I would be mad to" He said walking behind me.
"Were did Olivia go"? I asked.
"With Geno downstairs, he is hanging out with her" He said.
"Okay, I have to go make there bottles" I said walking into the kitchen.
"Leah, can we have a team barbecue here after the game tomorrow." Sid asked.
"I don't care, it is your house" I said.
"No, it is our house" He said playing with Lacey, which made Sadie jealous, so she started crying.
"Is Daddy just ignoring my sweet little angel" I said picking her up.
"No, I was going to play with her to" He said.
"Look's like it" I laughed.
"Sorry" He said.
"You shouldn't be telling me that, i'm not the one screaming my head off" I laughed.
"I am sorry pumpkin" Sid said kissing Sadie's head, which made her scream louder.
"Poor Sadie" I said as I tried to feed her, but she kept refusing.
"She will like me in an hour or so" Sid said feeding Lacey.
"You better hope, but I gotta run" I said putting Sadie's bottle in the fridge.
"Were are you off too" He asked.
"Horses" I said.
"I wanna come" He whined.
"Fine, come then, go see if Olivia and Geno want to" She said.
"Ok, go get the twins ready then" He said going downstairs.
"Sadie, why are you still crying" I said as she dug her head into my shoulder.
"Olivia and Geno are staying here, and Geno said to tell whoever is crying to be quit" Sid laughed.
"No, this is your fault" I said handing Sadie of to Sid.
"Do you think she will stop crying now" Sid said carrying her up the stairs.
"You better make her, you broke her little heart" I said.
"Party is here at 7"! Sid yelled from Sadie's room.
"Lacey, you just love making your sister jealous don't you" I said and she giggled.
"She loves me now see" Sid said coming in the room with a now quiet baby.
"yeah, put her down, I need help" I said as Lacey was squirming as I tried to change her.
It took a couple of minutes but we managed to get her changed.
"Sadie, you gotta be kidding" I said as she tried to crawl, but failed again.
"Now what is she screaming about" Sid said coming back into the room.
"She tried to crawl again" I said.
"Jesus, does she not get the point that she can't yet" Sid laughed.
"Hey, you were that way to, but get Sadie's car seats, now" I said.
"Ok little miss bossy pants" He said walking out of the room.
As I was putting Lacey in her car seat, I accidentally hit her head on the handle.
"Shit, that wasn't to good was it" I said picking her back up.
"Now what the hell happened" Sid said coming into the room.
"I accidentally hit her head, but I didn't mean to" I said rubbing her head.
"Wow, smooth" He laughed.
As I calmed Lacey down, I got her into her car seat, and moved onto Sadie's. As I was walking to the front door with the twins, I just about tripped and dropped the girls, but I caught them.
"Shit, sorry girls" I said as they were both looking at me with a mean stare.
This day was just getting better and better.
