Chapter 23
Sid's pov:
We were at a house looking at it, and it was huge.
"It has 8 beds, 4 baths, a huge kitchen, 300 acres of land" The realtor said as we were looking all over the house.
"What do you think" I asked Leah.
"It is gorgeous, everything I have ever dreamed of" She said.
"Yes, it is perfect" I replied.
"So what do you think"? The realtor asked.
"We will take it"! I said and Leah nodded.
"Great, I can get you the paperwork done and you can move in anytime" The realtor said.
"Thank you" I shook his hand.
Of course, I will just need you both to sign right here" He said handing us papers.
On the way home, we planned were everyone's bedrooms would be, except for the unborn twins.
"If Lacey and Sadie don't share a room toegether, were with the other twins go"? She asked.
"I don't care, they can share a room , or have their own room"
"They should have their own, look how good it worked out with the girls, we should do it again" She said.
"Sounds good, so we can put the girls on the first the first floor, the master bedroom and the new twins would be on the second floor, and Olivia can be on the third along with the 2 guest bedroom" I said.
"Sounds good, but what about names"? She asked.
"I like Kaiden for a boy, what about a girl"?
"Like Bailey, Brook, Ryan, Scarlett, Karli"? She asked.
"Scarlett" I said.
"I like that one" She said.
"Kaiden"? I asked.
"Scarlett and Kaiden, sounds perfect" She smiled.
We pulled into the driveway and saw Olivia in the front yard playing with Vero, and the twins were playing in each of their play pens.
"Daddy" Olivia said jumping into my arms.
"Hi, what are you doing"? I asked her.
"Playing with Vero, what you doing"? She asked.
"Mommy and I bought a new house" I said.
"You did" Vero asked.
"Yes, its amazing, 8 beds, 4 baths" I said.
"Well, thats amazing guys, but I better get going, my husband is probably wondering were I am, I am just gonna grab Estelle quickly" She said.
"Ok, is she asleep"? I asked.
"She should be, she was watching cartoons" She said.
"I am going to sleep" Leah said walking in and setting the twins on their play mat.
"Are you ok" I asked.
"I think, my back just hurts and my head" She said.
"Ok, do you need anything"?
"Do you still have that heating pad"? She asked.
"Ya, I will go grab it" I said going into the closet.
"Never mind, I am going to the store"! She yelled from our bedroom.
"Ok, for what"? I asked.
"We have no food" She said.
"Are you taking the kids with you"? I asked.
"Do you want me to"?
"I don't care" I said.
"Fine, I am only taking Sadie though, she is quiet, and she will just sleep in her car seat" She said.
"Are they not getting to big for these" I asked putting her into the car seat.
"Sid, there 6 months old, and weigh only 14 pounds, not for a while" She said.
"What about when the twins come, will they move to infant carseats"?
"They are really small for their age, so probably not" She said.
"When will they start walkink"? He asked.
"Maybe about a year" I said.
"Well, you better get going, are you sure you only want Sadie, Lacey will be sad" I said.
"Fine, get her ready and into her seat in 10 minutes while I make a snack for Olivia" She said walking into the kitchen.
"Lacey, stop moving" I said while she was trying to get out of her car seat.
"What's her problem" Leah said walking into the room.
"I dont know, I put her into the seat and she started screaming" I said.
"Ok well, Olivia is eating now, put cartoons on for her after and she will fall asleep, I should be back in about an hour or two" she said.
"Ok, I'll put them into the car" I said.
"Thank you, I just gotta grab my bank card" She said running up the stairs.
"Seriously take mine" I said shoving it in her pocket.
"I don't want it" She said giving it back to me.
"No, what if you find something for the babies"?I said.
"I can pay for it then, but what if I do, can I get it"? She said.
"Of course, I don't care at all, we need to get stuff sooner or later"
"So if I find clothes or car seats you would be fine with you not being there"? She asked.
"Yes, now go before I make you stay home" I said.
"Ok, see you" She said getting into the car and waving.
Leah's Pov:
At the grocery store, I got all of the food we need to last us for the next week or two, and then I went to the kid section. I got a lot of clothes and I even found car seats which I wasn't planning on getting but they were to cute. It was all fun until there was press all over me asking questions and taking pictures of the girls.
"Guys stop it please" I said covering the girls up when they started screaming.
They just kept on asking questions and stuffing their microphones in my face.
"Seriously, I need you guys to move" I said.
"Leah"! I heard someone call behind me.
"Anna" I said.
"Move"! She yelled pushing everyone out of the way.
"Thank you" I said.
"Of course, I can't stand them, there annoying" She said.
"Wow, you seemed so friendly" I laughed.
"No, they piss me off" She said.
"tell me about it"
"well, I better get going, it was great seeing you, if you need anything, heres my number" She said handing me a paper.
"Thank you, I will text you and then you will have mine" I said hugging her.
"See you later"! She said waving goodbye.
As I loaded all of the stuff in the car and pulled into the drive way, the girls were still screaming, my head was pounding, the babies were kicking away, and my back was killing me.
"Hey, how was it"? Sid asked as I walked through the door.
"Fucking press everywhere, the girls were screaming, the babies were kicking, my head was pounding, and my back was killing me, so I had a great time"! I yelled as I got the girls out of their car seats and into their cribs, and then I crawled into my bed.
"Leah"? Sid said.
"what" I said.
"I am sorry about earlier, I should have came, and I am really sorry about all the kids" He said laying down beside me.
"I am fine, Anna was there to help" I said.
"Good timing, but I will let you get back to sleep, night" He said kissing my forehead.
"Goodnight" I said.
"Wait, we have nhl awards coming up, it will be right after we have the twins, do you wanna come with me"? He asked.
"Of course" I said.
"Great, Goodnight Leah" I said and walked out of the room.
