A Part of Me

Leah's pov:
I was just on my way to the property so Ver could ride Oden. We were going to do it a while ago but it turns out Oden was lame and she didn't want to ride anyone else.

"Hey" I said.

"I am to exited" she said putting his bridle on.

"I think I wanna ride to" I said petting charger.

"sweet, I can saddle him for you" she said.

"thank you, I will got get Oden warmed up for you"

"ok, I will be out there in 5" she said.

As I walk walking Oden around the arena,I noticed he was acting up.

"Oden"! I yelled as he was trying to rear.

"is he ok"? Vero asked.

"he is being stubborn, maybe you should try riding charger" I said.

"No, I can get him into shape" she said handing me chargers rains as I got off Oden".

"I am kinda scared" I laughed getting on Charger.

"how about we go for a trail ride" she asked.

"sure, were to"? I asked.

"rocky creek"? She asked and I nodded.

"wait, we are not going anywere" I said.

"what, why"? She asked.

"uh, my water just broke" I said laughing.

"oh shit, I will call Sid, does it hurt"? She asked.

"no, I want to call him when we get to the hospital, and yes, it hurts a lot"! I yelled.

"tie the horses up, we can get Marcto un saddle them" she said helping me off of my horse.

On our way to the hospital, I realized the contractions were getting worse.

"did you feel any cramps earlier"? She asked.

"ya, throughout the night, but drive"! I said.

" Ok, let's go" she said when we arrived at the hospital. she had gotten a nurse and I got a room.

"sweetie, your 8cm, how could you not feel earlier"? The nurse asked.

"I don't know" I said.

"well, I will be back in a little bit, you checked off for no epidural correct" she asked and I nodded.

"no epidural, you are brave" vero laughed.

"just give me my fucking phone"!

"Leah, can I call you back, I am at a conference remember" I heard Sid say.

"NO"! I screamed.

"what's up" he asked.

"She is in labor, sorry she is having a contraction I had to take the phone" I heard Vero say.

"Dammit, I will be there soon" he said.

"hurry the fuck up"! I screamed.

"How far is she" he asked.

"8 cm last time the nurse checked, she is probably 9 now" she said.

"ok, I'm comming" he said.

"goodbye" she said hanging up.

"get the nurse" I said and she walked out the door.

"I am going to check again alright Leah" the nurse said.

"ok"

"it looks like you are ready to go" the nurse smiled.

"no,no , Sid ain't here"!

"Leah, we can't wait, we have to start" vero said.

"Leah, it looks like the baby did a flip, we can't do it this way" the nurse said.

"no, please, I can't" I said crying.

"I'm sorry, we have to get moving" the nurse said as the doctor walked in.

"Leah"! Sid said rushing through the door.

"thank god" I said as he kissed my head.

"we have to have you get ready for a c-section" the nurse said hanging him a bag.

"what's wrong, are the babies alright"? He asked.

"yes, but go get changed" I yelled.

"I will be right back" he said.

" Let's go, we are going to need you to stand up" the doctor said.

"I will be in the waiting room" vero said.

"ok, thank you" I said.

"good luck" she said.

As we got into the room, it was scary, nurses everywhere, sharp tools.

"where is Sid"? I asked.

"he will come in after we give you this needle" the doctor said.

"I'm here" he said kissing my head.

"ok Leah, you will feel a lot of pressure" the doctor said.

"your doing great" Sid said.

"ok, it's a boy" the doctor said showing him over the curtain.

"he is perfect" I said crying.

"and baby 2, a girl"!

After I got stitched up and back to my room.

"What did we decide on names" I asked.

"Kaiden and Scarlett" he said.

"no, I remember those, middle names" I said.

"Kaiden, um" he said.

"James" I said.

"that is adorable" he said.

"Scarlett, um let me think" I said.

"Grace" he said.

"it is perfect" I smiled.

"your babies are here" vero said.

"there not babies" Marc said walking in with Sadie and Lacey.

"weres Olivia"? I asked.

"here"! She said walking in with Geno and Anna.

"Ok, this is the girl" the nurse said walking in.

"she's perfect" I said as the nurse handed her to me.

"and here is the boy, have you thought names"? The nurse said handing him to Sid, I swear he as crying.

"yes, Scarlett Grace Crosby and Kaiden James Crosby" I said.

"so he does have a soft side" Vero said playfully shoving him.

" Hey hey, baby here" he said.

"Momma" Sadie said crawling up to me.

"this is your sister" I said.

"I hold her" OLivia said.

"sit on the bed" I said.

"Look" Vero said taking a picture.
