A Part of Me

"Brook, I can't, I'm sorry".

"Come on Sid, at least tell me why you just walked off on me, you said you will come back to talk, and you just left, and I haven't heard from you since, you needed time, I gave you time, so you go tell your new date, exactly what you o, just walk off, now goodbye".

"Brook, come on, dammit". I felt bad for her, but I moved on, and she has too to.

Leah's pov:
Sid just got off the phone with his ex, and he seems a little off.

"Sid, what's wrong"?

"Oh nothing, she just won't leave me alone"

"well then why do you answer her calls, that kinda gives her the impression that you don't mind her calling".

"Well Leah, then she will keep calling me" Sid said getting a little pissed.

"Yeah whatever Sid, lets just get going, I am sure Olivia is waiting for us to come home". Now Sid wasn't the the only pissed off one.

"Wait a minute Leah, I need to ask you something" Sid asked.

"Yeah sure, go for it" I said not even really paying attention while brushing out the horses.

"Well, I think we both know how much fun we have toegether, and you are a really great girl, and I can't wait to meet Olivia, but would you be my girlfriend"?

I didn't really know what to say, the only part I heard was the 'will you be my girlfriend'. I had to think about it for a minute, about what it could be like, but then i thought, what is his feelings change after meeting Olivia?

"Yes, of course I will, but we can't rush things, ok"?

"Deal".

We just pulled into my driveway, and I am just waiting for Sidney to pull up because I dropped him off at the cafe to get his range rover. I seen Olivia in the window waving and she looked like a disaster. She was in her Pj's and her har wasn't brushed. I quickly jumped out of my vehicle and ran inside.

Right as I finished doing Olivia's hair and getting her dressed, there was a knock on the door. I paid the babysitter and told her to go out the back door. When I heard the back door shut I picked Olivia up and ran to the front door to open it.

"Long time no see", he said with a smirk.

"Ya no doubt, but anyway Olivia this is Sidney, this is my friend"

"no, boyfriend" she said causing Sid and I to laugh.

"Well, she is smart, and really cute" Sid said as I nodded.

"Well you two, I want you to come to our game tonight, and we can go out after" Sid said.

"Yes, we would love to" I said as Olivia was staring at Sidney.

There was 2 minutes left in the 3rd period and the pens were winning 5-2 over the Rangers. Olivia was screaming and Sid kept waving at us because we were right behind there bench.

The pens had won it 6-2, and we were on our way to the locker room and Olivia was still crying because she was probably because she was tired. When we reached the locker room door we had to wait for about 20 minutes before we could go in. A trainer come out and told us that we were able to come inside. When we walked inside the locker room, I set Olivia down and she stopped crying and ran and jumped into Sidney's arms.

"Well you have one talent" I said while walking over to him and hugging him.

"Who beautiful lady" A tall russian came over and patted Geno on the back.

"Well guys, this is my girlfriend Leah, and her Daughter Olivia"

"Atta be Captain" a young one came over and patted him on the back.

I watched as Sid put Olivia down to pick up his gym bag and she automatically started screaming and saw Geno laugh and shake his head as Sid stared at me well I was holding a screaming child.

"Well Leah, he has his downs too" Beau Bennett said.

"Sid, I really need to get Olivia to bed so if you want you can come over, but I really need to go.

"Ok, I might come over later babe, just text me when Olivia falls asleep".

Sid said as I strapped Olivia into her carseat. Right as I shut the door and turned around he kissed me hard and rough. We didn't stop till we heard "get room guys". Turning around to see half of Sids team and their families standing there.

"I'll see you later Sid" I said and he shut the door to my car.

"Alrighty, see ya soon". I said waving as I pulled out of the parking lot.
