A Part of Me

Leahs pov:
I woke up to Sid's phone going off. We must have fallen asleep during the movie. When I went to read the text, it said Brook, and under it read "Hey there cutie, when do you plan on stopping bye today"? Was Sid still hanging out with Brook, and i'm not the the jealous type, but this just pissed me off completely.

"Sorry this is Sid's girlfriend, who is this". I said trying not to wake Sid up.

"Girlfriend, OK, I am brook, but Sid said he would come by later, I didn't think he had a girlfriend, but i'm sorry about everything, but tell Sid im home all day and I will be waiting for him here". She said and she sounded quite friendly. When I went under her contacts, there was a picture of Sid and Brook. She was really pretty, and I don't get why he owuld want me instead of her.

"Sid, get your ass out of my bed now"! I screamed, scaring him.

"Whats wrong babe"? He asked confused.

"Whats wrong, you are still seeing Brook you fucking prick"! I said furious.

"This is all new to me, who told you that"?


"Lets see, well, she text you 'hey cutie what time are you comming over today' and under her contact picture your fucking kissing her"!

"That doesn't mean a fucking thing! I didn't have time to change it and just because she calls me that doesn't mean anything, so stop fucking jumping to conclusions"!

I just stood there until Sid said "Olivia". I didn't know what he was talking about until he pointed towards the door and there stood a quietly crying Olivia with her ears plugged.

"Sweetie, i'm sorry, adults just fight alot". I said trying to cheer her up.

"Is that why you and my daddy broke up". She said.

"Sweetie thats different, but go and sit on the couch and I'll come give you some chocolate mike in minute". That cheered her right up and she went running through the kitchen.

"Sid i'm sorry, can we just move past this". I said he nodded his head. We were wrapped up in a hug until we heard Olivia screaming at the top of her lungs. Right when we heard that Sid and I went running into the living room. She was laying in front of the cofee table and her chin and nose were pooring blood. She was screaming so loudly I should have gotten some ear plugs. Sidney ran into the kitchen and got some rags and came back out. The wound would not stop bleeding and Sid said "Shit, Leah look". He said pointing to my glass coffee table that was shattered.

"We have to get her to emergency". I said while grabbing Olivia and rushing to the car.

"Leah, you drive, I'll sit in the back with her" Sid said while buckling her car seat up.

"How is she dong"? I said while rushing to the hospital.

"Olivia, no don't fall asleep, shit". Sid said while Olivia was now unconscious.

"Sid what's going to happen, she has never gotten hurt before other than a scrape"?

"They will probably do stitched, and have to get the glass out, but she probably have a head injury, and will have to stay overnight a few times".

"This is all my fault, I answered you phone, and now my child in seriously injured, well you can officially give me a ribbon for 'World's Worst Mother'.

"This is 100% not your fault, she must have tripped, but you need to go inside and get a nurse now".

There were 3 ladies running out and they had a small hospital bed. They set her down and looked at her face and then one said "Hi, Im Dr. Veran, but we need to get this child into surgery right away, she has glass stuck in her face, and it's too deep to just pick out.

Before I could say anything, my child was out of sight. "Sid, i'm so sorry" I said while falling into his arms and breaking down into tears.

"Leah, you have nothing to be sorry about, you can't help that she slipped". He said rubbing my back.

"I got her exited, and that is why this happend".

"Every kid get exited, and every kid gets hurt, and nobody can help that".

We waited for about 3 hours before we could go and see Olivia.

"Baby, i'm so sorry" i said while rushing to the side of the bed and kissing her head.

Now this is all I am going to be doing for the next few days or weeks.
