A Part of Me

Sid's pov:
It turns out that Olivia only had a few pulled muscles, so they put on a cast that she has to wear for the next week. The 3 of us were going to go out for supper, and then we were heading back to my house for a movie night. When we were walking into the restaurant, I was wondering what idiot would leave Leah and Olivia right before there wedding.

"Leah"? I asked.

"Whats up babe"?

"Your last name, how did you get it? I said

""Well, it is weird, my ex, his last name is Giroux, and then my family's name is Giro, but my ex lives in Philadelphia".

"Sorry, where does he live"? I asked.

"Sidney, I am going to make this easy on you and just say it, I was engaged, and am raising your enemies daughter, Claude Giroux.

"Why the fuck did you not tell me this" I asked furiously.

"Well sorry, I didn't think it would matter, he doesn't even have anything to do with us anymore".

"Ya will tomorrow, we have a game against them, and that, does matter to me".

"Fine whatever, I just won't come, but like I said before, this is not a big deal".

"You know what, no, he is going to find out eventually, you are coming tomorrow, with Olivia". I said

We finished supper silently, and the were on our way home. When we got home, Leah grabbed Olivia out of the car, slamming the door and going inside. I didn't even feel like fighting tonight so I just put a movie in and watched it alone.

At 1:30am I still heard Olivia screaming and Leah trying to get to sleep. On my way up I heard them talking so I decided to just listen.

"I wan't Daddy" She screamed.

"Olivia, stop it now, he is watching movies, and you need to go to bed, you will see him in the morning.

"No, I want him now"! She screamed louder.

"Olivia, you have till the count of 3 to get into your bed, or else we will leave here tomorrow"! Leah shouted back at her.

"You a big jerk"! Olivia screamed at her.

"Why are you acting like a spoiled brat, get in your bed, and go to sleep or else I will sell Bella"!

Leah came out of her room slamming to door and sliding down and tucking her knee's in her chest.

"Leah" I said quietly.

"Not now Sid" She said getting up and storming into our bedroom.

I decided to check on Olivia and them I would sleep on the couch for the night.

"Olivia"? I said while walking into her room.

"Daddy" she said jumping into my arms.

"What's up baby girl"?

"Mommy is selling Bella". She said crying into my chest.

"She won't do that, she is just mad at me" I said setting her back down in her bed.

"she mean to me" she said.

"Why is that"? i asked.

"She spanked me for not getting my pj's on". She said in a whisper.

I didn't know what to say to her, she was so afraid and I didn't think Leah would ever do that, I didn't even think she would yell at her the way she did.

"I will talk to her later, and then it will be all better ok" I said and she nodded, crawling into her bed.

"Goodnight Daddy" she said.

"Goodnight pumpkin" I said turning the light off and shutting the door.
