Genevieve "Gen" Connelly grew up in a small town in Fairfield County, CT. Fairfield County housed towns like Greenwich, Darien and New Canaan. She grew up surrounded by the wealthy, and wealthier. Her parents grew up on the Upper East Side in New York City and moved their three children to Connecticut after her mother started having Panic Attacks about living in the city. Her mom Lauren and her dad Dieter instantly became hockey parents after signing up their eldest two sons Patrick and Connor to play travel youth hockey at 6 and 4 years old. Gen grew up in a hockey rink, every night after night. Weekends were dedicated to road tourney's in Massachusetts and Canada. Her parents never thought that Patrick and Connor would go onto play in the NHL, and their three closest family friend's sons too. So everyone was stunned when Gen started a summer fling with one of Patrick's teammates, they were equally stunned about how the summer ended.

"This room is absolutely disgusting." Dieter Connelly turned up his nose as he walked out of Genevieve's dorm room, he needed a breathe of fresh air. "He's such a drama queen." Lauren Connelly said as she threw Gen's PBteen Dorm Pillows and Duvet Cover into garbage bags. "I guess I never thought about how gross this place got over the last ten months." Gen said as she sat on her coffee colored PBteen desk chair. Her mother gave Gen a look only a Westport mom would give her daughter. In Lilly Pulitzer white shorts, a Vineyard Vines tunic and Hermes Bangles up and down her slim wrists Lauren Connelly was not qualified for the job of cleaning out her dorm room. "Gen you are such a slob." Dieter said coming back into the room and finished the sweeping. "We should of brought Livia up to this god forsaken place to clean this room. We pay people for this D." Lauren whispered as they finished up the job. Gen just sat on her ass, on her desk chair texting some OHL hockey player she met on Tinder. "Are you seriously not going to do anything today Genny?" Dieter said trying to get his daughters attention. "Yes! I'll be back! The boys are leaving too today. Gotta say bye to them." She took two Hermes bangles off of her mothers wrist and added them to her own collection. She was now up to 5. She bounced downstairs and walked into Walker and Christian's room. "Bye guys!" She said as Walker brought her in for a bear hug. "See you in August Gen." Christian kissed her forehead and she did their handshake with him. 2 down, 8 more to say goodbye to. Bye Brayden, Luke, Steven, Brandon, James, Dan, Charlie and Tim!" As the guys came out of their rooms to say goodbye to the Freshman Hockey Boy's best girlfriend. She had grown so close to them, maybe because she only grew up around hockey players, maybe because her brothers played in the NHL. Or because the guys and her bonded since Move in Day, 10 months ago.

She ran back upstairs and came back just in time for her parents to bring the last of her stuff down to their black Range Rover in the Brown Dorm Parking Lot. "Bye Gen." Her roommate Carly said as she stood in the doorway of Brown 343. They had so many memories in this room. Her relationship with Brayden Caldwell started in this room. And had ended in this room. She couldn't believe that she had just said goodbye to the first guy at Cornell she kissed, on her very first night here. "So many memories." From day 1 Carly reigned in Brayden's roommate Luke Smith and they were dating and spending the summer back in his hometown of Vancouver, BC. "Yes! My lasting relationship with Lukey, your horrible one with B. I am ready to say goodbye to Brown 343 and hello to Village 464." They would reunite in August to be roommates for Sophomore Year. Luke and Brayden and the boys were this time upstairs from them in the 564's of Village. "Freshman year went by fast." Gen said as she grabbed her navy Longchamp bag and responded to her brothers group text with the rest of the FC, Hockey gang. The boys were soon back together. Patrick and the Rangers were making it to the 3rd round against Max and the Canadiens. The two best friends would be playing each other. And Connor was already home after the Penguins got eliminated by the Rangers. She hated that they played each other. "See you and mom and dad tonight at MSG. Love you. Congrats on finishing Freshman year at Cornell!" She walked down the stairwell of Brown one last time and out into the parking lot. "Let's get back to Connecticut please." Lauren said as Gen got into the Range.

Summer2k14 started now. And she was ready to wipe the slate clean, and forget that Brayden Caldwell from Toronto ever existed.
