She's Only 17.

Jamie had left the room and gone straight to find Seguin. He found Tyler and pulled him into a room.

"I kissed her."

"Who?" Tyler asked, quizzically looking at his captain.

"Her."

"Oh, shit, man, what happened to staying away?" Tyler ran a hand through his hair.

"She looks so good and I've dreamed about doing that since the night I met her.."

"Jesus, dude, you've gone soft."

All Jamie could do was just glare at Tyler. He knew it. Seguin knew it. If he kept this up, everyone would know it. Jamie left right after that, not wanting to see her, or her dad.


Tyler spotted Rylee the second she came back down, He stared at her, then jerked his head towards the kitchen. Rylee smoothly made her way to the kitchen. Tyler waited a minute before ducking behind the door.

"Jamie left." Tyler begins. "You've really screwed him up good. He freaked after you're.. thing upstairs."

Rylee's blue eyes widened. "Tyler, I swear I didn't mean to. I thought I was alone in your living room, but Jamie was in there. I apologized, then things got out of hand." Tyler watched her. He considered himself a good judge of lies and truths when it came to girls. Her posture and her eyes told him she wasn't lying.

"Listen, if I'm honest, he's never acted this way about a girl before. Never. He was devastated when he found out how old you are." Tyler paused. "Jamie is the type of person that doesn't really let go of people. He either likes you or he doesn't; and if he likes you, he will like you forever.

I can't say this for fact, but I'm pretty sure he's in love with you. Now, you have two options. Either stay far away, forever. Or, be there. Be his friend until you turn eighteen. Which is in how long?"

Rylee smiles. "Eight months."

"Be his friend for eight months, then date. He'll wait, Jamie's a good guy."

"When can I talk to him?" Rylee's smile was out of control.

"Let me see your phone," Tyler instructed. He tapped in Benn's number and added his own.

"Let me talk to him. Text me tomorrow morning."

"Thank you so much, Tyler." Rylee beamed.

"Jamie's never been like this over a girl. I've gotta help him out."
