Just Say Yes

Patrick and Kennedy were at the airport and they were waiting for Kennedy’s flight to Boston.
“So how many days are you gone?"
“Patrick this is the fifth time you asks me this morning. I’ll be gone for three days. One day in Boston and the two days in Denver so I can pack all of my stuff. Tell my boss that I can’t work for them anymore. Then I will be back. It’s going to be the quickest three days that you will ever had.
“No that won’t because I will be checking my phone every second for that text say that you back here."
“I promise that I will call you when I land."He had her in a tight brace.
“Flight 9288 from Chicago to Boston’s is ready."
“Well that's my flight.” Patrick gave Kennedy a deep long kiss.
“Don’t worry you’ll get a lot more of that when you get home.” Patrick let her go.
“Bye Patrick."
“Bye Kens, I love you."
“I love you to."

When Kennedy landed in Boston she took a taxi to TD garden. Kennedy was standing outside of TD garden on her phone. The game was about to start on a odd time to have a hockey game in the middle of the weekday. She bought a ticket up in the suites so Matt won’t see her. After the huge win for the Avalanche. She was outside of the locker room. It took a second of rings when Matt answer the phone.
“Hey sweetie."
“Try to guest where I’m at."
“Denver? In my bed thinking about me."
“No I’m in Boston, in front of the locker room. We need to talk."
“Yea give me 10 minutes and I will be out there."

Matt was out the door less than 5 minutes. She could see that Matt took a quick shower and just threw on any clothes that he could grab with one hand. Matt gave her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
“Wow Kennedy your hair is amazing. When did you get it cut?"
“Yesterday."
"So why are you here in Boston than at home."
“I need to talk to you about something."
“Here’s lets go in the stands so we can have some one on one ok.” Kennedy nodded her head and they both headed out in the stands.
“What do we need to talk about?"
“I’m moving back to Chicago."
“Oh.” Matt was looking at his hands.
“I know this was a surprise for you but for me too. Matt you have done a lot for me and I wanted to thank you in person. I love you but not in love with you like I do with Patrick."
“So what happen in Chicago yesterday?” Kennedy told Matt from what happen after the phone call.
“Moving back to Chicago because of Patrick or Addison?"
“Both, Addison is going to be a mother soon, I’m going to be a god mother and I need to be there for her. Patrick wants me there. I love Denver but I did start a life in Chicago and I do miss it a lot when I am in Denver. Are you ok with everything?” It took Matt a minute and Kennedy was just looking at Matt’s eyes. Kennedy will miss those brown green eyes that she loves about him.
“I think so but I hope that you don’t cut me out of your life for good."
“No I won’t do that. Like I said you done a lot for me since after the wedding and I feel like I owe you."
“No Kennedy you don’t owe me anything.” Matt places his hand on top of hers.
“I’m going to miss you a lot."
“Well whenever the Hawks are in Denver I will book myself a trip to see you. I promise you that."
“Thank Kennedy.” He lean over and kissed her cheek.
“By the time you get home all of my stuff will be gone.” Matt nodded his head and headed back into the locker room. She was now headed back to the airport and going to Denver for the last time she could call it home.

Kennedy was right, three days went by so quick. Patrick with his hat down low so no one could see him. He lifted his head,Kennedy ran up to Patrick and caught her. Crashing their lips together and loving that they are back together.
“God, I’m so glad that you’re back.” Kennedy face was in the crock of his neck. They left the airport and headed back to Patrick’s place. She hasn’t seen Patrick’s new place, it’s going to be the same as his last one. Opening the door to his place it wasn’t Kennedy expected. It was clean and there were pictures everywhere, pictures of team mates, winning the cup and a picture of Kennedy. She’s never seen that picture before. It was her talking to Addison at a restaurant.
“When did you take this?” She pointed out the picture.
“It was the day that met. I took that picture because you are the most beautiful women I have ever met and I didn’t want to forgot anything about you.” It didn’t take that long for Kennedy to start to cry.
“Kennedy?” Patrick look dead straight at her.
“What’s wrong?"
“Nothing is wrong, I’m so happy that someone told me that I was beautiful. I don’t feel like that at all.” Patrick wiped the tears.
“I’m happy that your happy. Kennedy I’m more than happy that you’re back here with me and to be with the family. Come on let’s take a nap before the game tonight.” Kennedy nodded her head and they headed to their room. It didn’t take that long for Kennedy to find her spot with Patrick on the bed. Her head in the middle of his chest and wrap her arm around his abs. Wearing one Patrick’s shirt and the smell of his body wash did relax her and it quickly made her fall asleep. When she woke up Patrick wasn’t in bed, she could hear the shower. Then her phone was ringing. When she went to see who it was it was Tyson Barrie.
“Hi Tyson."
“So I heard the news that you moved back to Chicago."
“Yeah I did. I wish I said good bye before I left but I had a ton of stuff to do."
“I get that beside I know that we are still going to see each other soon. I just miss you and Matt is miserable with you being in Chicago."
“I know. Hey I need to get ready for the game. Talk to you later than."
“Better promise me that Kennedy."
“Duh.”

Even thou they lost against the Flames it wasn’t hard to make the room a little happy when Kennedy came into the dressing room.
“So I guess it’s true that your back.” Saad smiled.
“Patrick couldn’t stop talking about it." Kennedy turn around to see Patrick and the smile hasn’t change since she told him that she was moving back to Chicago.
“Are you coming out tonight with us?"
“No I just got here from Denver and all I want to do next is go home and sleep.”

When they got home Kennedy was on the bed just looking on tumblr.
“You never told me how Matt took it when you told him the news."
“He was fine with it, all he wants me to be is happy."
“Are you happy?"
“I’m more than happy. I love you Patrick."
“I love you to Kennedy. Too bad that we didn’t win the game."
“You’ll get them back I just know it."
“That’s my girl. By the way did Addison say anything to do about the twins?"
“No what’s wrong?"
“Nothing’s wrong it’s just that Jon gave me hints about the twins’ names."
“What kind of hints?"
“The first letters of their first and middle name."
“What are they?"
“For the boy it R L or R D. The girl is S R."
“I think I know what the D stands for."
“What do you guess?"
“Dexter."
“Dexter like the TV show."
“Yep."
“I would never name our kids after a show.” Kennedy was looking down at her hands.
“Our kids?” Wow Patrick wants to talk about kid names. They haven’t been on a date since being back together.
“For a girl I always love the name Bailey and Hazel. The boy might have to be Zachary and Ian.” Patrick nodded his head.
“I don’t know how Jon is going to be with twins. I mean twins!”
“Jon is going to be a great dad and they both are going to be great parents to those twins. Addison and Jon are like the most perfect couple that I have ever met. Kennedy fell asleep on Patrick’s chest again and wish that she won’t do what she did during the summer.
