Just Say Yes

"Please Kennedy can you up the door and we can talked about this.” Kennedy had to get out of the bathtub now. Putting on her robe she open the door and Patrick standing there. She pushed passed him and walked into her clothes.
“Kennedy?” Patrick walked behind her.
“What Patrick?! What do you want me to say? That I still talked to Matt. Matt and I are still friends. He called me back just before I took a bath and he told me everything."
“What did you tell you?"
“He told me everything, that he told you that I don’t deserved you and that you told him to fuck off.” The look on Patrick’s face was angry.
“He also told me that he would never lie to me because I’m an amazing person."
“Which you are Kennedy."
“Then why did you lied to me about what happen in the first place?"
“Because I didn’t want you to worry.” Kennedy shut the door in front of Patrick’s face. While she was changing into something different.
“I’m sorry that I didn’t tell you the truth the first time. I just didn’t want you to leave and go back to Matt.” She opens the door and can the sadness in Patrick’s eyes.
“Pat, I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying in Chicago for good. I love you but we need to do is just talk. I tell you everything that pops in my mind from great things to all shitty things. I just want to be friends with Matt because he helped when I needed help.” Patrick nodded his head.

There was one more thing that Patrick needed to do before he and the Blackhawks leave for D.C. He didn’t tell Kennedy where he was going because it was a secret. He headed to see Addison and Jon to help him on this one.
“So are you ready to ask her?”
“Without a doubt I do want to marry her. She’s everything to me and I can see to be together for the rest out lives together. I just need to ask you since you know Kennedy more than anyone. What you think I should do propose to Kennedy.” Addison went to in her purse to grab the paper that Kennedy wrote.
“Here, Kennedy and I were talking. We were talking about the future and this was her idea of how you can marry her. I think it’s sweet that she wants this.” Patrick did read the note and he was happy that Kennedy wanted it just simple.
“Thanks Addison I owe you a lot.” Jon and Patrick headed to a couple of jewelry stores to get the perfect ring. They were at the third jewelry store. Jon wanted to get home soon.
“Just 5 more minutes than we can go I just need the perfect ring for Kennedy.” Then in the corner of his eye he sees a ring in the far right where no one could it see.
“How about that one?” He pointed to the ring. When they got a closer look at the ring he could see Kennedy wearing this ring.
“Wow Patrick that’s an amazing ring."
“That’s perfect, I’ll take that on."

“That wasn’t a holding call !!!” Addison was yelling at the game.
“I want to know who the refees of this game so I can get them a pieces of my mind.” Addison was trying to get up from her chair when Jon’s mother pushed her back in the chair.
“Honey it’s just a game. You and Jon are the same and that’s scary.” Addison cross her arms around her chest and trying to clam herself down. Kennedy was trying her best to cover her laugh of what she just saw.At the end of the game they did lose to the Capitals and they had a little break from hockey for a little bit. It was also getting closer for Addison to have to twins. Jon and Addison were going to head back to Chicago from their RV. While they were on the bus Jon couldn’t stop thinking about that holding call.
“Jon I know what you are thinking about."
“And what am I thinking about?"
“That stupid holding call against you."
“How did you know that?"
“Because I can’t stop thinking about it either. But right now we need to think is about the twins.” She grabbed Jon’s hand.
“You’re right they are going to be here soon and I can’t wait."


Two more days till the Blackhawks will play a game since the Winter Classic and things were getting a little boring for Kennedy when a phone call changed it. It was Jon that was calling.
“Is it time?!” Kennedy yelled in her phone.
“Yep it is and we just got to the hospital so hope to see you soon."
“Oh we’ll be there.” When Kennedy got off the phone she grabbed things that she needs. She gotten a little gifts for the twins. Running into the bedroom screaming Patrick’s name.
“What!? What’s going on?!” Patrick coming out of the bathroom with a shocking look on his face.
“Addison is having the twins right now and I need to grab my bag."
“Bag?” Kennedy lifted up a bag.
“Yes because we don’t know how long when the twins are really coming. So I have my macbook, movies and other things to take up the time. Then I got them these.” Kennedy grabbed something out of the bag it was little Toews jersey that had the number 1 & 2. Patrick did laugh at them because they were so small.
It has been four hours and nothing has happen. Jon’s family and Sharpie’s family was there. No one has no clue about the where about Addison’s mom. They don’t know if she knows anything yet.
“Now let’s watch The Grand Budapest Hotel.”Kennedy couldn’t get the smile off of her face.
“No we have seen this movie last night."
“But I love this movie and I don’t care.” Kennedy stuck her tough at her. Now all the movie that she brought have been watch, games have been played and everyone was getting tired of waiting. Kennedy and Patrick were sleeping on the couch and they were the only one there for the twins. Everyone else went home to take there of their family. They said that they will all come back in the morning to see the twins. Then there was a huge long bang it woke the both of them when it was Jon that came out of the room. He was tried to and happy at the same time.
“They're finally here!”
“Can we see them?” Kennedy gave Jon a hug.
“Yes they're with Addison right now.” When they all walked into Addison room and the twins were in their bed. Kennedy walked up to Addison, she was up and was glad that someone did stayed.
“Thank you for staying."
“Well I had to so I can see my god children.” She got up and grabbed the bag that had the jerseys. Kennedy showed them to Jon.
“Kennedy I love them and I can’t wait to put them on the twins."
“So details."
“Well the boy was the first one out and his name is Raylan Luke and then our girl came out 19 minutes later and her name is Shailene Ryan."
“I love those name.” Kennedy look behind her and Patrick was over to where the twins were sleeping. He was so mesmerize from the way they look in their little beds. She looked down at her watch and it was time for them to get to bed.
“We should get going so we all could get some sleep. Will come back tomorrow afternoon.” Addison nodded her head.
“Congrats you two.” Kennedy hugged both of the new parents and they left to go home.

In the morning Kennedy went out of the living room and sees that Patrick was watching The Grand Budapest.
“I though you said that you didn’t like this movie.” Kennedy cuddle up with Patrick.
“At first I didn’t but the third time around I think it’s pretty good."
“So what do you think about the twins names?” Patrick asks.
“I love them and it’s great for Jon and Addison."
“Have you though of names?"
“No, what do you think we should have?"
“I think a girl first and then a boy."
“Did you pick out names?” Kennedy was studying his face.
“I haven’t though of names but we have time for that don’t we. It would be cute to have our own lobby boy.” Then Patrick’s phone was ringing. Kennedy was watching the movie and she wasn’t thinking of something else than the movie. She was thinking of the further of her and Patrick.
“Kennedy?” Patrick cut her out of her thoughts.
“Yea?"
“Addison’s mom is at the hospital and she is waiting for us.” Once they got to the hospital there was Addison’t mother standing outside waiting for them.
“Hello Kennedy, Patrick Thank you for coming I just don’t want to go in by myself."
“No problem. How did you know what’s going on?"
“Jon called me about a couple of days ago and he bough me a ticket and a hotel. So I can wait for the twins to come. I can’t wait to see them. Have you seen them?"
“Yes very early this morning. Raylan and Shailene have both looks from their parents.” When they got closer to the room. Addison’s mom was getting worried.
“Don’t worry she’s going to be happy that you came. She your mother and the grandmother of twins. Patrick knock on the door to make sure that they were ready for them. Jon open the door and when he sees Addison's mother he was very happy that she did showed up.
“Addison looks who’s here.” Jon step back and let them in.
“Hi Mom.” Addison was holding Raylan. He was wearing his Blackhawks jersey that Kennedy got for them.
“Hi.” She walked closer to get a good look at Raylan.
“Where’s Shailene?” Kennedy was looking around and Sharpie had her in his arms.
“Can I hold?” Kennedy had her hands out."
“Sure.”Shailene was also wearing her jersey. Patrick looked over Kennedy’s shoulder to look at Shailene.
“You’re going to be a great mother someday."
“I hope so.” Kennedy walked over to Addison. Patrick walked over to Sharpie and Jon.
“So when’s the big event coming?” Jon asks Kaner. Sharpie was kinda of confused.
“I’m going to do it tonight."
“Tonight?” Sharpie needed to know.
