In the morning Addison woke up in an empty bed but there was a little noise coming from across the hallway where the twin’s room are at. She got up from bed and walked quietly to the twins room. It was Jon and his mother were watching the twins moving there arms and legs around. When she could hear Jon’s mom singing a song in french.
"Tu es mon rayon de soleil, mon seul rayon de soleil Tu me rends heureux quand les cieux sont gris
Vous ne saurez jamais ma chère, combien.
Je vous aime S'il vous plaît ne me prenez pas mon rayon de soleil." (I used to sing that to you a lot when you were this little.)
"Que pensez-vous de leurs noms?” (What do you think of their names?)
"Raylan est beau et Shailene est belle comme sa mère. (Raylan is handsome and Shailene is beautiful like her mother.)
"Je suis juste content qu'elle changer d'avis le nommant Dexter.” (I'm just glad that she change her mind naming him Dexter.)
"Je suis d'accord avec vous.” (I agree with you). They both laugh softy after that.

“Addison.” She turn around and it was her mother.
“Do you mind if we could talk? Just the two of us.” Addison nodded her head. They went into the kitchen table with coffee mugs in their hands.
“Mom I wanted to say sorry for what I have done."
“Honey you have every right to do that but I’m so happy that you want me back in your life. The twins' life and that I can help you in so many ways. Jon’s mom is so nice and that she would take time off to be here with you guys."
“I’m glad that you came because I don’t know how I was going to mange the twins all by myself when Jon is out of town. I mean I do have Kennedy but now she’s going to be busy."
“How do you know that she’s going to be busy?"
“Well I know this because I help Patrick. Patrick asked Kennedy to marry him last night."
“How?"
“Well Kennedy and I were talking. Then I ask if she sees a future with him. She said that she could see it in his eyes that he wants to marry her. I wanted to know what she wanted Patrick to do if that time would come and she wrote it down. Then I handed it to Patrick. We should hear soon if it’s true. I bet you right now that she’s seeing her dad."
“How's her dad? I heard what happen, everyone around town is talking about him."
“He’s doing great and even Kennedy’s mom was here. I don’t know if she’s here because I think Kennedy forced her to leave."
“Well are they still married?"
“No I don’t think so. Besides Kennedy and her mother never got along.” Then she could hear Jon coming down the stairs. He had Shailene in his arms and the look on his face was just all smile. That he had his daughter in his arms and Addison is talking to her mother again. Jon sat down next to Addison.
“So any word from Kaner yet?"
“Nope not yet.” Addison’s mom went back to her room so she could get a shower in.
“I over heard your mom singing a song. What was it?"
“You are my sunshine."
“I should learn French since you’re going to teach the twins french.

Kennedy and Patrick were waiting by the door. Waiting for the doctors to finish his check up with her dad. She didn’t know if she wear the ring or not. Patrick wanted her to wear it since he know what’s going on. Once the doctor came out and told Kennedy that everything to going great and that they can see him right now. Walking into the room her dad was smiling from ear to ear.
“Daddy, I have some great news."
“What is it sweet heart?” Kennedy sat down next to him and put her left hand on top of his.
“Honey, you’re getting married. I’m so happy for you.” He gave her a hug.
“Thank you daddy."
“For what?"
“Patrick told me what you told him about marry me. Patrick does make me happy and I’m more than happy that he asks me to marry him. The doctor said that everything is going great did he tell you when is your last surgery?"
“No but he said soon. He’ll tell me tomorrow when the last test to make sure. Then more details after that."
“Well dad Patrick got us a house close to where Jon and Addison live. If you need a place when you are done here."
“No Kennedy everything will be fine and I want you two to have your own space. You didn’t tell me if Addison had her twins."
“No I haven’t told you yet. She did had the twins boy name Raylan and girl name Shailene."
“What beautiful name they are. Addison and Jon are going to be great parents.” They stay at the hospital for a little bit more. Telling him how Patrick propose to Kennedy and how amazing that night was. Then they headed over to Jon and Addison to tell them the news. Patrick was going to pick up Jon for the game against the Stars.

“Hello?” Kennedy said out loud in Jon and Addison’s place. Jon’s mom came over to the door.
“We just got the twins to sleep."
“Sorry.” Addison whisper.
“Jon and Addison are in the living room right now.” The group went into the living room and see that Jon was watching a something on tv.
“Hey guys.” Kennedy waved her left hand at them. Addison jumped out of the couch and got a closer look at the ring.
“Patrick this is an amazing ring.” Addison couldn’t stop looking at the ring.
“So we told my dad."
“And?"
“He was very happy for the both of us. He told Patrick before he could ask that he could ask me."
“When did that happen?"
“ After his first treatment. When I came to pick her up he told me that I should marry her. So that what happen."
“Your dad is amazing Kens.” Addison went back on the couch.
“By the way both of the Benn brothers were here and also Sequin. They came here to see the twins.
“Well I’ll see them tonight anyway.” Patrick looked down on his watch and sees that they needed to get going.
“Come on Jon we need to get going.” Jon kissed Addison and Patrick kissed Kennedy.
“I’ll see you after the game. I’m going to stay here a little longer.” Patrick nodded his head and the boys left for the UC.
“Now we need to work on the wedding a little bit."
“Not a lot since we have time and I do want Patrick to help pick out stuff to."


It was the day after the big win against the Stars, both Kennedy and Patrick were back at Jon and Addison’s place.
“I mean come on guys you have a place of your own.” Jon stop in the kitchen when he sees the three of them around the table with tons of wedding magazines. Then there was a knock on the door.
“Well we can’t move in to our new place till next week and that Addison is the MOH so I need her like she needed me.” Kennedy stuck out her tough. Jon went to see who was at the door.
“Matt!” Jon was happy to see Matt Duchene standing outside of their place with a gift basket for the twins. He also had a couple of team members behind him. Tyson Barrie, Ryan O’Reilly and Gabe Landeskog. They all headed into the kitchen were Addison was shock of who was there.
“Hi guys!” Kennedy was in shock that they are here. She did get a text from Gabe that they wanted to go have lunch. So she text him Addison address to met and see the twins. But that text was a week before the wedding thing every happen. When they were all standing in Addison kitchen she tally forgot about the whole lunch thing.
“The god farther is here.” Matt hands Addison the gift basket.
“Sorry Matt you’re not the god farther."
“Please don’t tell me that Crosby is, I mean he can’t be god farther to all of his team mates for Penguins to Team Canada."
“No Matt.” Addison laughed a little.
“Patrick is the god farther.” Jon placed a hand on Patrick shoulder. Kennedy forgot that Patrick was in the room.
“So what’s with all of the magazines?” Ryan pointed out on the table.
“Kennedy and Patrick are getting married.” Addison pointed out Kennedy’s ring. Kennedy was holding on to her breath and hoping Matt was ok with this. Matt was stun with the news but he was happy for Kennedy.
“Do you want to take a break and head to lunch. After we see the twins of course.” Matt looked at Addison.
“Sure come on guys now you have to be quiet because they are sleeping.” Kennedy and Patrick stayed in the kitchen.
“Are you really going to have lunch with them?” Patrick pointing at where the guys are going.
“Yes I made plans with Gabe and I don’t want to break them because of this.” She waved her hand at the table.

“We have lots of time for this. If you want to join than I will be happy about that to.” Patrick crosses his arms and nodded that he was going to come to.
