Chapter two
“Good morning Sleeping Beauty.” Jordy laughs as he tickles me. I groan. “It’s morning already? Can’t we just go back to sleep for a little bit longer? You’re warm, I don’t want to leave this bed.” I try to roll over but Jordy sits on top of me. “Jordy get your lard ass off of me!” I giggle. “Hey now! That isn’t very nice. We have to get going. We still have to stop by your place and pick up your bags. I let you sleep in a little bit longer too, you just looked so cute and I know you had a rough night.” Yeah, a rough night is an understatement. Jordan got off of me and walked out of the room, sensing the shift in my mood. It wasn’t his fault most of my night turned to shit. I walked down the stairs a few minutes later. “There’s stuff in the fridge and cabinets that you can have for breakfast if you’d like. I usually just pick something up at the airport and I didn’t know if you’d be up for eating with your hangover. “I can handle my alcohol pretty well Mr. Staal. “I laugh. “But if it’s okay with you can I steal some of your aspirin? My head and body hurt.” Jordy tosses me a bottle and I take six out quickly swallowing them. I wouldn’t be feeling much of anything before too long.
The ride to my place was mostly quiet. Jordy had the radio on, but I turned it off when I heard Amnesia come on. I wish I could wake up with amnesia, and forget about the stupid little things. Like the way it felt to fall asleep next to you and the memories that never can escape. Cause I’m really not fine at all. The lyrics kept replaying in my head. They explain my situation perfectly. I could tell Jordy wanted to ask me something but everytime he would open his mouth to say something he’d quickly close it again. It was like he couldn’t find the right words. He pulled into my drive and walked with me to the door. “I won’t take long. I have my bag packed and in my room. I just want to change, do my hair and a few other things and then we can go.” Jordy nodded as I walked in. Sunshine was sitting at the table in his boxers drinking coffee. “Have a good night?” I asked rubbing my hand on his head messing up his hair. “I could as you the same thing! You and Staalsy huh? I never would have guessed. Get it girl.” He laughed and tried to give me a high five. “There is no Staalsy and I. I had to stay at his place since someone decided to have their own party back here.” I glared at him, before going into my room. I grabbed my suitcase and carried it into the living room. I’ll be back in ten. I told the boys before disappearing again.
“Hey baby cakes.” I knew Tyler was standing in the doorway. “I’m really sorry about last night. Geno is being a complete ass. I don’t know what his problem is. Just know that he got one hell of a phone call from me last night. I know Siddy had him cornered and was screaming at him after he drug him up to the VIP lounge. Sunshine over there had to drag me away because I was about ready to kill him. He had no right to say those things about you.” I smiled slightly at Ty. Her attempt at cheering me up wasn’t working at all. “It’s okay. I stayed with Jordy last night and he helped me out.” I smiled. “I figured when I saw the shirt.” She laughed. “It’s going to be lonely here without you. Promise that you’ll call and keep me updated.” I hugged her tightly. “Of course I will. I’ll definitely need a girl to talk too on the road.” We both laughed, knowing it was true. “Alright Jordy, I’m ready to go.” I decided not to change out of his shirt. I kept it on and just put on a pair of jeans. “I hope you don’t mind that I’m still wearing this.” I say pointing to his shirt. “It’s just really comfortable and I want to have something that I’m familiar with if I have to sit alone on the plane. I’ve ever been good with plane rides.” I joke. “Now you already know that I don’t mind. If I did I wouldn’t have given you my shirt in the first place. I’ll make sure you don’t sit alone on the plane. What kind of best friend would I be if I allowed that?” He asks pretending to be shocked. Jordy and I have become such good friends in the last few years. We didn’t start off on the best foot though. Sidney and Geno had been telling the team about me for months and I guess they wanted to meet me. When Sid brought up the idea of meeting the team I was thrilled, Geno , not so much. He didn’t want me to go at all come to think of it. Sid got me tickets to their game against the Red Wings and Geno gave me one of his jerseys. They ended up winning that game 10-0. When I was finally allowed into the locker room I was pretty nervous. I knew they’d all be in pretty good moods though, so I wasn’t too worried about that. When I walked through the door Max was the first one to greet me. “You must be the famous Kellie? I’ve heard so much about you. It’s nice to finally meet you.” He said kissing my cheek, making me blush. “Thank you, Max. You played really well out there tonight. Congratulations on the goal, by the way.” I laughed. That’s when I met Jordy. “Hey baby, how about we go back to my place and do a little celebrating of our own.” He whispered in my ear, making me shiver. I quickly turned around, coming face to chest with the six foot 4, gorgeous blonde that was now standing in front of me. “Excuse me?” I asked, thinking he was just joking. “You heard me baby. Let’s go celebrate. You are one of those puck sluts aren’t you?” He asked rubbing my arm. I quickly moved away from him. “I don’t know what a puck slut is but I can assure you that I am not one of those.” He tried to put his arm around me. “Do not touch me.” I warned but he did it anyways. “Get off of me before I punch you.” I again warned but he just laughed. That pissed me off. I decided to punch him as hard as I could in the chest. Jordan kind of looked surprised but quickly changed his emotions to pissed off. “You bitch. You fucking it me.” He yelled,bringing attention to us. I cowered in the corner, afraid that he was going to hit me back. Thankfully Sidney and Geno came to my rescue. I explained what happened and got high five’s from the team. Jordy and I didn’t talk for months after that. Once I started coming around more, I realized he wasn’t a bad guy and we became best friends. It’s kind of funny now, we often joke about it.
“There she is!” I heard a few of the guys yell as I walked arm and arm with Jordan to the plane. He knew I was nervous. “Do we have a new couple here?” Sid asked looking from Jordan and then back to me. Jordy shook his head no. “You know she’s my baby sister, man. What’s wrong with you?” We laughed. Sid carried my bag onto the plane and put it with his stuff. The next few hours were going to be tough, I could feel it. Sid took his normal spot on the plane up front with Flower, It seemed like all of the guys had people sitting next to them except for Geno. There was no way that I was going to sit next to him. I ended up finding Duper and asking him if he minded sitting with me. He of course didn’t. Duper and I were really close and I loved it. He was the big brother I didn’t know I wanted. His wife and kids all liked me too. I even babysit for them from time to time.
“You know I never did like being on planes.” I laughed nervously. Duper grabbed my hand, “It’s okay. You have me to keep you company.” I guess Max and Kris were sitting behind us because they screamed “You have us too. What more could you want?” I laughed. They were too funny. I could feel someones eyes on me from time to time but every time I looked I didn’t notice anyone. It must just be me being paranoid.
“So you and Staalsy huh?” Duper asks elbowing me in the ribs. “I never would have thought you two would hook up. You and Geno yeah, but never you and Gronk.” I shivered at the mention of Geno’s name. I couldn’t help but replay all of the things that he said to me last night. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to bring him up. I didn’t know it bothered you this much. You know how he is. Don’t worry about him though. He’ll get what’s coming to him.” Duper winked. Was he hinting that some of the guys were going to do something to Geno? “I’ll be back in a few minutes.” I kissed his cheek before going to find Sidney.
“Sid where did you put my bag? I need something out of it.” I ask poking him in the shoulder. “It’s in the back of the plane. What did you need? I might have it.” He asks pulling me into his lap. “Just some of my pain meds.” I shrug. “I can wait until we land, we only have a few more hours, right?” Sidney nods grabbing a bag from Flower. He hands me a bottle of aspirin. “I’m going to grab a drink and I’ll bring this back to you when I’m done. Is that cool?” Sidney nods returning to his conversation with Flower. I made my way towards the back of the plane walking past Geno. I knew he was going to stick his foot out and try to trip me. He always did that when I was sad. I shot him a death glare and made my way into the bathroom. I opened the bottle and took out six more pills. These would have to do until I could get to my bag. My phone vibrating in my pocket brought me out of my thoughts. I looked at the name, Kaner was texting me. I quickly opened it, excited.
“Hey Kel, I can’t wait to see you tonight. The guys are pretty excited too. We all miss you. Call when you get to the hotel and we can do something. Kaner (;” I I quickly texted him back and put my phone back in my pocket. There was no getting rid of the smile that was now on my face. I tossed the bottle in Sid’s lap and made my way back to a sleeping Duper. The rest of the ride there was pretty uneventful, thankfully.
Sidney, Jordy, Duper, Flower, Nealer, Sunshine, Kris, Kuni, Max, Sutter , myself and Olli Maatta all stood in the parking lot of the hotel. We all looked lost.
“Okay, who is Kellie going to stay with tonight? We all know the original arrangement isn't ideal.” Sidney whispered the last part to everyone but me. “She stayed with me last night, so she can stay with me again tonight.” Jordy spoke up, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. “Alright, she can stay with Staal tonight and then we’ll go from there. Now we have practice in a few hours so let’s try to go and get settled in.” Sidney said walking into the hotel. I was happy to be staying with Jordy but I was also disappointed.I knew he was going to bring up the conversation from last night. Honestly it was the last thing that I wanted to talk about. I didn’t want any of the guys knowing. I had hid it so well for so long. I messed up when I agreed to stay with Jordy. I should’ve just stayed at the hotel.
“Kellie, are you coming?” Jordan asked taking my hand in his. “You can’t stay in the parking lot forever.” He joked. I nodded but stayed silent. “There is only one bed, but I didn’t think you would mind since you made me lay with you last night.” He laughed. I guess he had a point. He laid my bag on the couch next to his. “Now, we have a few hours before practice and I wanted to talk to you. I knew this was coming. “Give me five minutes and we can talk. I need to use the restroom.” I noticed Jordy nod out of the corner of my eye. I grabbed my familiar makeup bag and went into the bathroom closing and locking the door. I took out the all too familiar bottle and my toothbrush case. I laid a few pills on the counter and crushed them as quietly as possible with the case. Once they were completely crushed, I used my fingers to bring the powder together. Once I was happy with the way it looked, I snorted it all. I took a deep breath before walking back out to Jordan. He was sitting on the bed, SportsCenter was playing hockey highlights in the background. “Alright, what did you want to talk about?” I ask sniffling. I know but I want him to say it.
“About last night. That guy didn’t make you bruise that much from the incident last night, did he?” Jordan looked almost afraid to look at me. “No.” I whispered. He seemed to relax a little but he quickly tensed up again. “Who did this to you?” He asked gripping his fists tightly. His knuckles were turning white. I sighed. “Jordy I really don’t want to talk about this.” The look in his eyes broke my heart. “Please Kellie. Tell me what is going on. I want to help you. I don’t like seeing you hurt. I know it does so don’t even try to play it off. I know you too well. Please just tell me.” Jordy practically begs. I know I have to tell him. “Jordy, please don’t tell anyone. Not even Sidney.” I was about to continue but there was a knock at the door. I sighed getting off of the bed and walking to the door. “Kellie!” Sidney, Nealer, Max and Kris yelled. “Boys!” I yelled back while I was being attacked with hugs. James carried me into the room and tossed me on the bed. I flinched but played it off. Hoping they wouldn’t say anything. I wasn’t so lucky. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” James asked quickly. “She was just about to explain some things.” Jordan spoke up. “Could you give us a little bit?” He asked. “Jordy they might as well stay. They already know too much.” They all looked at me confused. I pointed to the bed and told them all to sit. I could feel each pair of eyes on me. “Last night when I went home with Jordy, he let me borrow some clothes, while I was changing he saw something that I didn’t want him to. I have kept this hidden from you guys for a while now. I didn’t want it to come out but I guess that’s been thrown out the window. “ I tried to joke. Most of them just looked clueless. “Normally I wouldn’t do this but hell you’ve all seen me in my bikini.” I said standing up and slipping Jordy’s shirt off. The gasps that came from the guys made me jump a little. I pointed to the large bruise on my back. “This is the bruise from last night. The rest on my arms, stomach, back and chest are not.” I slipped the shirt back on,feeling self conscious. I could tell all of the guys were fuming. “Who did this to you?” Jordan asked pacing the floor in front of me. “Do you remember the guy that was with me at the bar?” I asked Sid. He nods. “That was him. He was my boyfriend for a few months. The one I would never let you guys meet.” I kind of laugh. “If I would’ve let you meet him then I probably wouldn’t be in this situation now. I messed up. That’s all I seem to do now a days. I mess things up for everyone. I could feel the tears coming now. “Kellie don’t think that. This isn’t your fault. You could’ve come to us, we all care about you. You’re family. We protect our family.” The boys all take turns passing me around hugging me and giving me kisses on the cheek. “You know I actually feel better now that I don’t have to hide this from you all anymore. I do have to ask a favor though, please do not tell anyone else about this. I don’t want the whole world knowing.” They all promise. I noticed Jordy was sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. “Jordy, are you okay?” He scoffs. “ You’re asking if I’m okay. You shouldn’t be worried about me. I failed as a big brother. I didn’t protect my only sister. I failed you. I’m so sorry. Can you forgive me?” I can see the tears in his eyes. “Oh Jordy.” Seeing him like this breaks my heart. “You didn’t fail me. You can’t fix something that you don’t know anything about. It’s okay. I’m safe now with all of you guys.” I crawled up on his lap, laying my head on his chest. “I’m glad you wanted me to tell you about this. I feel a little bit better.” I whispered in his ear. The guys spent the next hour reassuring me that he was never going to hurt me again. I had to spend at least a half hour trying to talk all of them out of killing my ex. I think it worked, for now. If they were to see him again, he may not be so lucky.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and quickly pulled it out, before any of the guys could grab it. I had another text from Kaner.
“Wanna meet for dinner and drinks? We want to see you.- Kaner.” I smiled. “Who ya texting? Your new boyfriend?” Kris laughed. “She better not have a boyfriend!” Jordy yelled. “I’ll kill him, I swear.” He yelled again. “Easy killer. It’s Kane.” I called. “Kane as in Patrick Kane?” Kris spoke up. I nodded. Why was it such a surprise that I knew a few of the guys we were playing against tomorrow? “Since when do you know Kane?” Jordan asked. “Since I met him a few years ago. He was in Pittsburgh and I was out with Tyler. He came over and introduced himself. We exchanged numbers and became good friends. Is that an issue?” I asked crossing my arms, just messing with them. They all shook their heads no. “Good. Jordy, I’ll probably be back late tonight. I’m going to meet a few of the guys for dinner. You can enjoy your time with the guys. I’m going to go get ready.
“Jordy are you still here?” I called from the bathroom. I wanted a guys opinion on my outfit. We weren’t going anywhere fancy so I just decided on a bright red dress that stopped mid thigh with my black heels. I heard Jordy grunt from the bedroom. I knew he was watching his hockey highlights. He was never happy with the way he plays. “How do I look?” I asked walking out of the bathroom and in front of the TV. I could’ve sworn his jaw dropped. “There is no way in hell you are going out with a bunch of horny hockey players wearing that. Especially when your big brother won’t be with you.” Jordy said getting out of bed and opening my suit case. I tried to grab it from him but I wasn’t fast enough. Jordy had already pulled out the pill bottle. “Kellie. What are these?” He asked opening the bottle, revealing a mixture of powder and pills . “Mine. That’s what they are.” I snapped grabbing the bottle from him. “I’m going out in this dress and that’s final.” I said slamming the bathroom door and locking it. I laid some of the powder out on the counter and couldn’t wait to be pain free again, physically and emotionally. I put some into a little zip lock baggie that I had and put it into my clutch. Unlocking the door I walked back into our room. “I’m leaving now. I’ll have my phone if you need me.” I called walking out the door not even waiting for Jordan’s reply. I made my way to the elevator while sending a quick text to Kane letting him know I was on my way down. I actually felt excited to see them again. I pressed the down arrow on the elevator and stepped inside, the doors were almost closed before a hand stopped them. Evgeni stepped inside. He nodded in my direction but I ignored it. “Go out?” He asked. “No, I decided to go grocery shopping.” I said my voice dripping with sarcasm. Thankfully my phone saved me from continuing the conversation. “Hey, yeah I’ll be right down.” I said into my phone before hanging up. The elevator doors opened and I made my way into the lobby, I knew Evgeni was watching so I made sure to sway my hips a little bit more than I normally would. I say Kane and Toews standing awkwardly in the lobby, desperately trying to avoid the employee that was hitting on them. I smiled to myself before deciding to come to their rescue like they have many times for me before. I took off in a full sprint towards them. “Oh my god! Baby I’ve missed you so much!” I yelled jumping into Pat’s arms, kissing him on the lips. I leaned over and kissed Johnny too. “Oh I’m sorry.” I said wiggling my way back to the floor. “Who’s this?” I asked smiling. “She works here I guess.” Johnny said uncomfortably. “Well we really should get going and I bet you have to get back to work.” I said noticing the look I was getting from Evgeni. I grabbed the boys hands and walked with them out of the lobby and to the awaiting Hummer that Kaner was notorious for. Tonight was going to be a good night.

Kaner (;” I I quickly texted him back and put my phone back in my pocket. There was no getting rid of the smile that was now on my face. I tossed the bottle in Sid’s lap and made my way back to a sleeping Duper. The rest of the ride there was pretty uneventful, thankfully.
Sidney, Jordy, Duper, Flower, Nealer, Sunshine, Kris, Kuni, Max, Sutter , myself and Olli Maatta all stood in the parking lot of the hotel. We all looked lost.
“Okay, who is Kellie going to stay with tonight? We all know the original arrangement isn't ideal.” Sidney whispered the last part to everyone but me. “She stayed with me last night, so she can stay with me again tonight.” Jordy spoke up, wrapping his arm around my shoulders. “Alright, she can stay with Staal tonight and then we’ll go from there. Now we have practice in a few hours so let’s try to go and get settled in.” Sidney said walking into the hotel. I was happy to be staying with Jordy but I was also disappointed.I knew he was going to bring up the conversation from last night. Honestly it was the last thing that I wanted to talk about. I didn’t want any of the guys knowing. I had hid it so well for so long. I messed up when I agreed to stay with Jordy. I should’ve just stayed at the hotel.
“Kellie, are you coming?” Jordan asked taking my hand in his. “You can’t stay in the parking lot forever.” He joked. I nodded but stayed silent. “There is only one bed, but I didn’t think you would mind since you made me lay with you last night.” He laughed. I guess he had a point. He laid my bag on the couch next to his. “Now, we have a few hours before practice and I wanted to talk to you. I knew this was coming. “Give me five minutes and we can talk. I need to use the restroom.” I noticed Jordy nod out of the corner of my eye. I grabbed my familiar makeup bag and went into the bathroom closing and locking the door. I took out the all too familiar bottle and my toothbrush case. I laid a few pills on the counter and crushed them as quietly as possible with the case. Once they were completely crushed, I used my fingers to bring the powder together. Once I was happy with the way it looked, I snorted it all. I took a deep breath before walking back out to Jordan. He was sitting on the bed, SportsCenter was playing hockey highlights in the background. “Alright, what did you want to talk about?” I ask sniffling. I know but I want him to say it.
“About last night. That guy didn’t make you bruise that much from the incident last night, did he?” Jordan looked almost afraid to look at me. “No.” I whispered. He seemed to relax a little but he quickly tensed up again. “Who did this to you?” He asked gripping his fists tightly. His knuckles were turning white. I sighed. “Jordy I really don’t want to talk about this.” The look in his eyes broke my heart. “Please Kellie. Tell me what is going on. I want to help you. I don’t like seeing you hurt. I know it does so don’t even try to play it off. I know you too well. Please just tell me.” Jordy practically begs. I know I have to tell him. “Jordy, please don’t tell anyone. Not even Sidney.” I was about to continue but there was a knock at the door. I sighed getting off of the bed and walking to the door. “Kellie!” Sidney, Nealer, Max and Kris yelled. “Boys!” I yelled back while I was being attacked with hugs. James carried me into the room and tossed me on the bed. I flinched but played it off. Hoping they wouldn’t say anything. I wasn’t so lucky. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?” James asked quickly. “She was just about to explain some things.” Jordan spoke up. “Could you give us a little bit?” He asked. “Jordy they might as well stay. They already know too much.” They all looked at me confused. I pointed to the bed and told them all to sit. I could feel each pair of eyes on me. “Last night when I went home with Jordy, he let me borrow some clothes, while I was changing he saw something that I didn’t want him to. I have kept this hidden from you guys for a while now. I didn’t want it to come out but I guess that’s been thrown out the window. “ I tried to joke. Most of them just looked clueless. “Normally I wouldn’t do this but hell you’ve all seen me in my bikini.” I said standing up and slipping Jordy’s shirt off. The gasps that came from the guys made me jump a little. I pointed to the large bruise on my back. “This is the bruise from last night. The rest on my arms, stomach, back and chest are not.” I slipped the shirt back on,feeling self conscious. I could tell all of the guys were fuming. “Who did this to you?” Jordan asked pacing the floor in front of me. “Do you remember the guy that was with me at the bar?” I asked Sid. He nods. “That was him. He was my boyfriend for a few months. The one I would never let you guys meet.” I kind of laugh. “If I would’ve let you meet him then I probably wouldn’t be in this situation now. I messed up. That’s all I seem to do now a days. I mess things up for everyone. I could feel the tears coming now. “Kellie don’t think that. This isn’t your fault. You could’ve come to us, we all care about you. You’re family. We protect our family.” The boys all take turns passing me around hugging me and giving me kisses on the cheek. “You know I actually feel better now that I don’t have to hide this from you all anymore. I do have to ask a favor though, please do not tell anyone else about this. I don’t want the whole world knowing.” They all promise. I noticed Jordy was sitting on the bed with his head in his hands. “Jordy, are you okay?” He scoffs. “ You’re asking if I’m okay. You shouldn’t be worried about me. I failed as a big brother. I didn’t protect my only sister. I failed you. I’m so sorry. Can you forgive me?” I can see the tears in his eyes. “Oh Jordy.” Seeing him like this breaks my heart. “You didn’t fail me. You can’t fix something that you don’t know anything about. It’s okay. I’m safe now with all of you guys.” I crawled up on his lap, laying my head on his chest. “I’m glad you wanted me to tell you about this. I feel a little bit better.” I whispered in his ear. The guys spent the next hour reassuring me that he was never going to hurt me again. I had to spend at least a half hour trying to talk all of them out of killing my ex. I think it worked, for now. If they were to see him again, he may not be so lucky.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and quickly pulled it out, before any of the guys could grab it. I had another text from Kaner.
“Wanna meet for dinner and drinks? We want to see you.- Kaner.” I smiled. “Who ya texting? Your new boyfriend?” Kris laughed. “She better not have a boyfriend!” Jordy yelled. “I’ll kill him, I swear.” He yelled again. “Easy killer. It’s Kane.” I called. “Kane as in Patrick Kane?” Kris spoke up. I nodded. Why was it such a surprise that I knew a few of the guys we were playing against tomorrow? “Since when do you know Kane?” Jordan asked. “Since I met him a few years ago. He was in Pittsburgh and I was out with Tyler. He came over and introduced himself. We exchanged numbers and became good friends. Is that an issue?” I asked crossing my arms, just messing with them. They all shook their heads no. “Good. Jordy, I’ll probably be back late tonight. I’m going to meet a few of the guys for dinner. You can enjoy your time with the guys. I’m going to go get ready.
“Jordy are you still here?” I called from the bathroom. I wanted a guys opinion on my outfit. We weren’t going anywhere fancy so I just decided on a bright red dress that stopped mid thigh with my black heels. I heard Jordy grunt from the bedroom. I knew he was watching his hockey highlights. He was never happy with the way he plays. “How do I look?” I asked walking out of the bathroom and in front of the TV. I could’ve sworn his jaw dropped. “There is no way in hell you are going out with a bunch of horny hockey players wearing that. Especially when your big brother won’t be with you.” Jordy said getting out of bed and opening my suit case. I tried to grab it from him but I wasn’t fast enough. Jordy had already pulled out the pill bottle. “Kellie. What are these?” He asked opening the bottle, revealing a mixture of powder and pills . “Mine. That’s what they are.” I snapped grabbing the bottle from him. “I’m going out in this dress and that’s final.” I said slamming the bathroom door and locking it. I laid some of the powder out on the counter and couldn’t wait to be pain free again, physically and emotionally. I put some into a little zip lock baggie that I had and put it into my clutch. Unlocking the door I walked back into our room. “I’m leaving now. I’ll have my phone if you need me.” I called walking out the door not even waiting for Jordan’s reply. I made my way to the elevator while sending a quick text to Kane letting him know I was on my way down. I actually felt excited to see them again. I pressed the down arrow on the elevator and stepped inside, the doors were almost closed before a hand stopped them. Evgeni stepped inside. He nodded in my direction but I ignored it. “Go out?” He asked. “No, I decided to go grocery shopping.” I said my voice dripping with sarcasm. Thankfully my phone saved me from continuing the conversation. “Hey, yeah I’ll be right down.” I said into my phone before hanging up. The elevator doors opened and I made my way into the lobby, I knew Evgeni was watching so I made sure to sway my hips a little bit more than I normally would. I say Kane and Toews standing awkwardly in the lobby, desperately trying to avoid the employee that was hitting on them. I smiled to myself before deciding to come to their rescue like they have many times for me before. I took off in a full sprint towards them. “Oh my god! Baby I’ve missed you so much!” I yelled jumping into Pat’s arms, kissing him on the lips. I leaned over and kissed Johnny too. “Oh I’m sorry.” I said wiggling my way back to the floor. “Who’s this?” I asked smiling. “She works here I guess.” Johnny said uncomfortably. “Well we really should get going and I bet you have to get back to work.” I said noticing the look I was getting from Evgeni. I grabbed the boys hands and walked with them out of the lobby and to the awaiting Hummer that Kaner was notorious for. Tonight was going to be a good night.
