Do It Dallas

Chapter 1 - THEN

THEN

“Do it.” She ordered.
“No.” He replied.
“Oh please! Are you a man or not?” She questioned his manhood. He stood in the garage of his father’s house. She waved the keys of his old Ford Mustang in his face with the devilish smile she wore so regularly.
“Cmon.” She pushed again.
He looked at the old red Mustang, then back at her as she leaned against the front.
“Fine.” He said grabbing the keys out of her hands and opening the door and slamming it behind him.
“Wooohooo.” She hollered, laughing and getting into the passenger seat.
“It will be your fault-“ He turns to her and starts to speak before she cuts him off.
“Its my fault if we get caught?” She asks, finishing off his question.
“Yes. Its your fault if we get caught.” He says turning away from her bright blue eyes. The eyes that could convince him to do anything.
“Have I ever gotten you caught kid?” She asks, laughing as she buckles her seat belt.
“No, but your luck cant last forever. And I cant be a kid if im older then you.” He replies, doing the same thing with his seat belt.
“My luck is never ending. And even if it does end it’s never slowing me down from doing as i please, you know that better then anyone. And your older then me by almost a year, that barely counts.” She sniggers.
“Besides, you act like a girl. If I was old enough I would have taken my parents car for a joy ride ages ago.”
“Ive only had my license a few weeks give me a break.” He sighs, rolling his eyes at her.
“A few weeks too long.” She laughs again. “Now drive.” She orders.
“Yes boss.” He replies to her remark. He had always been wrapped around her finger.
“Glad you are finally listening to me.” She smiles, tapping his shoulder.
He smiles and shakes his head before finally pulling out of the garage. The gate was already open so he nervously turns the corner of the drive way and his out onto the roads.
“Lucky my dad isn’t home.” He mumbles.
“Oh come on. Stop being so uptight!” She smacks his hand.
He turns to her seeing her taking out her long blonde hair out of the pigtail that was pulling it out of her face. He feels like his in a movie, with this beautiful girl seated next to him. Her long hair moves freely in the wind as she throws her hands in the air letting out a holler. Her smile is contagious and after continuously looking over at her the smile has now appeared on his lips. She throws her head back in triumph, putting her arms higher into the air. She had always admired his father’s old red convertible, and had always told him they would drive it soon. It was now or never he thought.

He was a good kid, but his mom would deny that, saying he was always naughty at home. But when he was around her he was a complete angel. He never knew why, maybe it was because she was more wild then he could ever be. He admired the girl, ever since they were babies. Both their parents would tell them about how protective he was of her when she was born. He was 10 months older then her, the age gap not that huge, but she was always the baby of the pair. When the two of them had turned 8 years old was when they got chucked onto the ice. Having fathers who grew up playing together, they were destined to do the same. Although, she was put in figure skates and he in hockey skates. She was never going to be a figure skater, everyone knew it. She was born to be a hockey player. Her mom never stopped trying to stop her from playing hockey though, saying figure skating was better for girls, and to leave the hockey to the boys. It wasn’t until she was 12 that her dad convinced her mom that figure skating was not going to happen, and they finally allowed her to take hockey lessons, although she already knew how to play better then most boys.

She was untamable, and he knew that would never change. So as they sat in the car, cruising through their small town of Brampton in his dads ‘borrowed’ car, he knew she was a person he would never be able to forget. She was that girl who wouldn’t let you forget her.
