Every Time You Kiss Me (Sunshine and Whiskey)

~next morning, 9 am~

Kelsi:(wakes up and gets out of bed, trying not to disturb Beau, walks downstairs)

Bortz:(sees Kelsi)"you and Sunshine eh?"

Kelsi:"Nothing happened Bortz, I drove him home since his knee is fucked up. He invited me in, we watched a movie and fell asleep on the couch. We woke up at 10:30 and figured you were already asleep so I had no way to get home."

Bortz:"Mhm, which is why you were sleeping in his bed right?"

Kelsi:"Bortz, all we did was cuddle. I'm not some slut."

Bortz:(shakes head)"I never said you were."

Kelsi:"Besides, it was a one-time thing."

Bortz:(about to respond, sees Beau)

Beau:"One time thing huh? Guess that's what I get for falling for someone I had no chance with."

Kelsi:"You... You fell for me?"

Beau:"Yeah. Biggest mistake of my life, I was stupid to think someone like you would go for someone like me. (Starts to walk away, feels Kelsi's hand on his shoulder) what?"

Kelsi:"Beau, you're not stupid. The only reason I said it was a one-time thing is because I was afraid you didn't like me like that."

Beau:"I like you, a lot. More than anyone else I've ever met."

Kelsi:"I like you a lot too Beau."

Beau:"Is this still a one time thing?"

Kelsi:(shakes head)"I want to be with you Beau, as long as you want to be with me."

Beau:"More than anything"(leans in and presses his lips to hers)

Bortz:(whistles)"Yeah! You go Beau!"

Beau:(pulls away, blushing)"Shut up!"

Kelsi:(smiles at Beau)

Beau:(smiles at Kelsi)

Bortz:"Alright love birds, it's 10 AM, Kelsi I'm leaving now,and I'm your only ride there, get your shit and let's go."

Beau:"Can I come? Ya know, just to watch?"

Kelsi:"Bortz, you go ahead, I'll just drive with Beau."

Bortz:"Alright. See you there then."(Goes out to his car and leaves for Consol)

Kelsi:(to Beau)"C'mon gimpy! I have to get to work."

Beau:"(pouts)But I'm hungry!"

Kelsi:(rolls eyes)"We'll grab some breakfast from McDonalds if you get your ass in the car."

Beau:(grabs his crutches and starts walking out the door)"C'mon slow poke!"

~At the rink~

Kelsi:"You didn't have to buy my breakfast you know."


Beau:(shocked)"Of course I did!"

Kelsi:"No, you really didn't. But thanks."

Beau:"You're welcome"

Sid:(walks into the Trainers room)"Hey Kelsi. (Sees Beau) hi Sunshine, wasn't expecting you to be here."

Beau:"I didn't feel like sitting at home by my self."

Sid:(nods)"Understandable."

Kelsi:"So Sid, something bothering you?"

Sid:"Just came for some Advil, took a puck off the wrist."

Kelsi:"Want me to take a look at it?"

Sid:(shakes head)"It's fine. I can move it perfectly well, it's just a little sore."

Kelsi:(hands him 2 Advil) "here you go then. Come see me if it starts to feel worse."

Sid:"Alright."(Goes back to practice)

Kelsi:"I swear he's like the energizer bunny! Never stops going!"

Beau:(laughs)"I'll make sure to tell him you said that."

Kelsi:"(glares) don't you dare!"

Beau:"You're cute when you're trying to be threatening. (Presses his lips to hers)

Sid:( walks in, head down)"oh Kels, one more (looks up) thing...."

Kelsi:(pulls away from Beau)"Um yeah Sid, what can I do for you?"

Sid:"Just came to invite you to a team gathering at my place. I'll let you and Sunshine continue, sorry to interrupt.(heads back to the ice)"

Kelsi:"That was embarrassing."

Beau:"Sid's usually pretty laid back. I doubt he minded that much."

Kelsi:"Still."

Beau:"Kels, relax."

Kelsi:"I just don't want him to think I'm only here to get fucked. I want to be taken seriously!"

Beau:(scoffs)"Sid isn't gonna think you're just here to "get fucked""

Kelsi:"How do you know?!"

Beau:"Because, Sid is the one who convinced me to pursue you."

Kelsi:"Wha? He did?"

Beau:(nods)"The day I saw you, I felt drawn to you. I was too scared to make a move. Sid convinced me it was worth a shot, he gave me the gentle push I needed..... And I'm so glad he did."

Kelsi:"I'm glad he did too. (Smiles)"
