Tangled Heartstrings

James Neal may not have everything figured out but he knows two things for sure. Number 1: He always wants to be a penguin. Number 2: He's falling hard for Ayla Nicole. At the end of the 2014 season he gets traded to Nashville and has to leave Pittsburgh. Can he lose one of these things and still be able to keep the other?

1. Beginnings and Ends

   The Olympic bound players leave for Sochi causing James to suffer from severe boredom. In need of something to occupy himself with he searches for something to do.

2. It's Been a While

   James and his fellow penguins adventure out to a near by bar for a guys night. Somewhere along the way his eyes catch onto a certain female.

3. First Impressions

   Ayla discovers James and Brandon still at the bar hours later when she's done her shift and without hesitation gives them a lift home. The next day they're both trying to figure out what happened that night. James wonders if he did anything to embarrass himself!

4. World of Hearts

   It's Valentine's Day in Pittsburgh and James and Ayla intend to spend it together over dinner cooked by the two of them. With Ayla's instruction, the two manage to get it done perfectly. They did it as a team, they make a pretty good one.

5. Leaving Fear Behind

   Fear stops Ayla from going after what she wants causing James to become confused and Cassidy to offer words of advice to her troubled Best Friend. After all, that's what she's there for!

6. Ready, Set, Go!

   It's a day full of opportunity! Cassidy helps Ayla get ready for her outing with James and in return gets to meet him for the first time.

7. Welcome to My Life

   James is excited to show Ayla his second home, the Consol Energy Centre. Everything is going great. He's helping her navigate around the famous city and she's absorbing each fact that he's reciting. When they get to the locker room, an unexpected surprise awaits them.

8. Breaking the Ice

   James and Ayla finally get to skating at CEC. The two are having a ball and couldn't be happier. The smiles on their faces aren't entirely from skating, something else occurs that makes them both glow with joy.

9. Escape

   James picks Ayla up from work when she's done her shift. When they're done meeting her co-workers they find a certain reporter out of the patio that James is less than pleased to meet. They stop at a Starbucks thirsty and hoping to lose him. Unfortunately for them, he's not giving up. The hockey pla
