Tarin (Monday)

Thank god that by the time I had gotten to work my stomach ache had subsided. I sighed. I had one Saturday and Sunday morning and now today. I threw up yesterday. Amy thought I had food poisoning or the stomach flu. I don’t know.

“Hey, Tarin.” said the girl I work with, Raina.

“Hey. What do we have to do today?" I asked "We are unpacking boxes, folding, and restocking what needs to be." She answered.

"Fun." I said as I grabbed a pile of sweaters and started folding.

Around 1:00 I got a text. It was Mathieu.

I had fun on Friday and I want to see you again

My heart fluttered a little. Truthfully, I wanted to see him again too. Just talking to him on Friday was fun.

I didn’t really have that much else to say.

Can we meet today? We’re going on the road tmrw

​Of course I would meet him today. I would make time. I get off work at 2:00 He’d pick me up at two o’clock.
