KATIE POV

“Yeah sure” Tyler softly nodded “Here have a seat”

I wrapped the robe tighter around my body as I look seat not making eye contact with Tyler, only with the night sky. “Look Ty, I’m really sorry with what happened earlier tonight”

“Are you kidding me” He stated “I'm the one who should be saying sorry, I should've just lied and said it was bleach blonde Sarah or someone. I caused the argument between you and Jamie, i am the reason he yelled at you and I am one hundred percent the reason for all the tears you probably just cried. Are you and Jamie okay? Dear god please tell you two are okay?”

“Yes we just made up” I smiled “Him and I are good, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. Jamies not gonna punch you don’t worry”

“Oh thank god” He chuckled “Thanks for checking on me Kat”

“Course, I better head to bed. Its been a long day” I sighed “Night shit” I kissed his cheek

When i crawled into bed next to Jamies sleeping body, I prayed to myself that this would be the last fight of my time here. Jamie needed to focus on these next two months, with the Olympics coming up he needed to focus. Looking over to my left, I smiled at him snoring Jamie does this weird thing when he sleeps, he’ll smile. I don’t believe he realizes he does this, but if this isn’t the cutest thing in the world than i don’t know what is. Staring at him smiling and snoring all the bad things disappeared.


“Baby, its game day” I kissed as he threw the blankets over his head “You need to get up”

“Mhmmm no” He mumbled “More sleep please”

“Ya know, you smile in your sleep?” I questioned “c’mon we can take a shower” I smirked a laugh jumping off the bed

“ Alright i’m coming, I wasn’t aware of that thank you baby” He laughed rolling out of bed. Once he entered the bathroom I stood there naked with my hair in a bun, he quickly took off his pants picking me up walking into the hot shower. Not even a second after we got into the shower, he was exploring the inside of me with his tongue causing me to let out a moan. He stood up and pinned me against the hot tile wall allowing the water to hit the back of him kissing me hard, my tongue made its way into his mouth, i could feel him going on his tippy toes allowing his dick into my wet vagina thrusting in and out of me.”I love you” he mumbled in between kisses

After the hot shower sex, literally, Jamie and I got out drying ourselves “Im going to go throw my suit on, and than we can pick Meg up”

“Okay” I smiled


The starting score of the third person was six to five Chicago, Jamie scoring one of the goals, Tyler scoring one and Hemsky scoring the other two. They had time to score but Chicago was a tough team and for hell sakes they play harder than anyone practically causing Megan and I to be at the edge of our seats for a majority of the game.

“Shit Meg, I don’t know about this game” I announced concerned “Do you think they’ll be able to tie it up?”

“Hard to tell. The stars look really frustrated, Jamie looks so pissed too” Megan breathed not taking her eye off the ice “Watch the game Katie Jamie has the puck!”

My eyes quickly made their way to the ice finding Jamie skating down the ice in a flash while Daniel Carcillo following him instantly and Tyler in the rear of Jamie. Passing the puck to Tyler thinking Carcillo would drag off, he didn’t. Aware of him, Jamie skated behind the goalie net when making the curve back up, a shove came from Carcillo sending Jamie face first into the boards. Jamie always got pushed into the boards, the remaining team on the ice hurled over to fight the chicago team and to help Jamie causing a circle to form around Jamie, slowly the fighting stopped revealing that Jamie was still laying face first on the ice not moving. Tyler waving over the medical staff.

“Oh my god” I cried into my hands “Please be okay, please be okay, please be okay. Is he okay?” not looking up

“I don’t think so, its hard to tell. Don’t worry Jamie is a big guy he’ll be okay” Megan cautioned “Oh no, They’re getting the stretcher”

Looking up from my hands and onto the ice I saw the team helping the staff with putting Jamie onto the stretcher, he looked so small just laying there unaware of what was happening. Was he even awake? Standing up from my seat and moving closer to the glass I looked seeing that his eyes were open. Thank god.

“C’mon Katie, Joey is going to allow us down in the locker room so we can see Jam” Megan rushed grabbing my hand as we quickly rushed off downstairs.

I never saw so many people running around in such a small area before “Please only family” a strange man said in a Dallas staff shirt “No fans”

“I-Im not a fan, I am Jamie's girlfriend, Katie Murphy” I stuttered “And this is Megan Seguin”

“Oh yes, Jamie has showed what you looked like. Please follow me” He said

Making our way closer to Jamie, I could feel the tears fall heavier the closer we got. The paramedics were gently ripping off his gear from his upper body, leaving him shirtless. “Hey baby, don’t worry i’m here” I cried sitting in the stool placed

“I scored for you babe” Jamie mumbled before letting out a cry of pain

“We see no concussion” The doctor stated

“There's more isn’t there?” Megan projected

“He does have a broken jaw” the doctor sighed “We still need to run some test to make sure he is okay. He should be fine, and will be off for four weeks. I will make sure he will make it to the Olympics don’t you worry”

“You hear that baby?” I cried a smiled “You’ll be there for the gold”

He let out a faint smile “love you moon and back, too perfect for me” sending out a cry of pain

“I love you to the moon and back. And even with a broken jaw you are too good for me” I whispered kissing his forehead.
