“Tyler” I bawled feeling like an idiot “Please don’t say anything please”

God I haven’t even been in Dallas for a day and i was already crying. “Shit, sorry Kat’ Tyler rushed to me hugging me “Hey but good news, Chubbs got the hots for you too” He nudged at me.

“Shut up Ty” Megan beamed “Wait are you serious, oh my god Katie you gotta get it tonight and so am i” winking at me

JAMIES POV

“Holy shit, I knew girls took forever to get ready but my god these two are a different story” Tyler went on

I heard heels walking down the hall and thats when i saw it. My god I wanted to pin her against the wall and touch her all over, ripping off that black tight open back dress and kissing her all over, shit wait focus.

“You look great” I blurted towards Katie

I noticed Katie seemed off even when Megan was downing shots, she just stood there with a fake smile as she drank her water. People offered her shots but every round she turned them down, saying she couldn’t I wondered why. I decided I was gonna go do it, I was gonna go talk to her. She looked so beautiful tonight.

“Hey Kat, you alright?” I whispered into her ear over the blaring Rack City song

“Oh uh yeah, I just don’t drink for reasons plus clubs aren’t my scene. Why aren’t you drinking?” She whispered back putting her hand on my thigh.

God damn I wanted to kiss her then and there but i knew i couldn’t for fuck sakes she barely knew me. “Just not in the mood tonight, Ty is really going at it eh?” I said

She began to laugh hysterically. “what what is it?” I smiled at her

“Eh?” she spoke questionly

“Its a canadien thing, since never of us seem to be having fun here wanna go to Mark’s Diner down the block? Its a quick walk” I blurted. What if she said no oh my god i’d look like a fucking idiot.

“Yeah please” She spoke. She quickly grabbed her purse and my hand and we were out of there in a second

KATIE POV

I have never seen a diner so empty before, only two other couples were in there….wait Jamie and I aren’t a couple but god I wouldn’t mind dating him wait no i cannot think that, he probably would think I was a loser if he knew that. As we sat down at the booth, I couldn’t help but wrap my legs around his huge legs under the table, his eyes widened when i did that causing him to laugh. We both ordered omelets, well he ordered three omelets for himself a big guy with a big appetite i said to myself

“I’m starving” He chewed taking bites out his omelet

“I can see, since you ordered three omelets” I laughed grabbing my water

“Big guys have a big appetite, eh?” He smiled

“So canadien of you” I smiled “wait you have some egg on the side of your mouth. I leaned over rubbing the egg off his scruff

“Thank you” he put in “Looking out for me, eh?” He laughed knowing the “eh” would make me crack up.

“Eh, maybe” I giggled “So Mr. Jamie Benn, tell me about you” I smiled. God he was so cute i wanted to kiss him

“Well, I play for Dall-” He spoke before being cut off

“Sorry don’t mean to cut into you talking but i mean like the real you, not the hockey Jamie” I suggested “uh maybe we can ask each questions”

“Yeah sure, are you seeing anyone?” He blurted. Shit he was really starting with the big questions, what ever happened to asking about favorite food?

“Nope, Im not” i signed “are you?”

“Hey no repeating the same question” he laughed. God I wished i could hear that laugh over “But no I am not” he went on “what’s your major at San Antonio”

“I’m majoring in Journalism” I stated “Okay well its my turn, uh is it bad that i really want to kiss right now” I blurted. Fuck did I really say that out loud

“No its not bad, because I want to kiss you too” He leaned over the table, his large hands picked up my chin and he softly planted a kiss on my lips. Once i got that taste I knew I wanted more of it. He leaned back into the booth, smiling at me. “Uhh okay my turn” he said breathed looking at his cup of water than looking straight into my eye, god i hate making eye contact but those eyes could put people into a daze i swear. “Do you wanna go back to my place” He said.

“I’d love too, shall we go and get a cab?” I smirked so he knew that I wanted him

“Lets” He laughed

God i wanted him badly, placing my hand on the inside of his thigh slowly moving up to his bulge turned me on even more.

Jamie and I both jumped up, quickly covering my naked body with the blanket. Fuck this couldn’t be happening right now.
