The Art of Hockey(#2)

Goodmorning Doll

SOPHIA'S P.O.V
So maybe going Christmas dinner shopping the day before the actual holiday wasn't the best thing to do. But it's whats gonna happen so I'm just gonna have to hike up my skirt and get on with it, I thought as I walked into the crowded Target. Almost all the carts were gone except for the really bad ones that went one direction that was opposite of where I wanted it to go.
Tonight James was coming over for a Christmas dinner and we are going to open presents in the morning. I giggled excitedly at the thought but it was cut off short when I almost rammed the cart into a canned corn mountain.
"Shit." I swore pulling the cart away and walked toward the turkeys and hams trying to ignore the stares I was getting. Finally when I got over there I saw there was only two turkeys left and one honey roasted ham. Yes! I thought as I grabbed the ham and put it in my cart rolling to the next aisle.
***
So I have a half an hour before James arrives, and I had been putting a lot of thought into tonight. I mean he's always bringing me to new heights and I haven't once given him anything. Well tonight will be different, I talked to Dakota and I have a pretty good idea of what I'm gonna do for him. I sighed nervously as I slipped on my black heels over the stockings and smoothed out my red dress and straightened the jewelry. Quickly I ran my fingers through my curled hair and walked out into the kitchen pouring the wine into the glasses and setting the plates.
Dakota and I have a cute little tree in the corner of out living room with our presents for each other under it and the present I have for James laying perfectly. A beep sounded from the oven and I pulled out the ham setting it onto the counter and putting the pecan pie I made from scratch into the oven. Just as I shut the oven and put the timer on, a knock came from the door. Letting out a nervous breath I hadn't known I was holding I walked over and opened the door.
It was like the best present I could ever asked for to have with me, I thought as he stood outside my door with white snow flakes littering his dark hair.
"Hi." I breathed out as I took in his slacks and sweater form.
"Hi." He greeted his eyes travelling from mine and down and then back up. Just him looking at me gave me butterflies.
"Come in," I said opening the door wider as he stepped into the apartement ans set down two presents under the tree.
"Oh, you shouldn't have," I said looking at him as he walked over to me.
"Oh, but I wanted to," He smiled and leaned down grabbing my lips into a kiss wrapping his arms around my lower back and pulling me to him.
"Smells good." James said as he stalked over to the table and eyed the food in the kitchen.
"Yeah, you wouldn't beleive how crowded it was at Target today," I said as I grabbed his plate and started filing it to the brim with ham, mashed potatoes, cranberrie sauce, and corn.
"Do you want gravy on your potatoes?" I questioned as he watched me with happy eyes from the dinner table.
"Yes please." I smiled at his eagerness and poured the gravy over the fluffy white potatoes.
Finally once I had each of us a plate we sat down and conversed.
"So how was your day?" I questioned sipping my red wine as I looked over at him
"It was good, but even better now that I'm here with you." He winked and I laughed my cheeks turning a little red.
"Well I'm glad I could be of service to you." I mockingly bowed my head and he laughed as he drank from his own wine.
"You know," He started his voice husky, "When I saw you in that little red dress and those heels I could only think of how lucky I am."
Blushing I smiled at the flutters my heart gave, "Well," I said my voice getting a little higher.
"I have something that I wanna do for you-"
"BEEEP!" The timer went off, yelping at the loudness I stood up and walked over to the oven taking out the pecan pie and setting it down to cool. Walking back to the table I saw that James had already grabbed the dishes and started walking them over to me. "Thanks," I said as I started to put them in the washer.
"Anyway what I was trying to get out was... well, basically I want to give you something that's been long over due." I said my cheeks starting to get red as I looked over at him leaning on the counter.
Scrunching his eyebrows he asked, "What do you mean?"
"Well I mean you've given me pleasure that I've never expirenced before," I started and began walking over to him trying to calm my beating heart. 'Okay Soph you got this just do what D told you to do.' I thought as I put my hand on his chest and trailed it down to the waistband of his slacks.
"And I just want you to feel the same way you've made me feel." I finished my handpalming right below his slack's waistline.
Shyly I looked up into his eyes to see him watching me intently as I slipped the zipper down and let myself slowly get to my knees.
***
I awoke to the need to pee, groaning I tried to get up but found it impossible with James holding me so tightly in his arms. No matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get out of his grasp, with one single push I hoped to break through but he just squeezed me into his arms and pulled me into his chest.
"Goodmorning doll," His husky voice whispered into my neck.
"Morning," I said squirming, "Can you please let go? I really need to go to the bathroom." I rushed out.
"Hmmm I don't know I like you right where you are." He said teasing my neck with light featherd kisses.
"Dammit James if ya don't let me go this mintute I swear to God I'll never do what I did to ye last night again." I swore to him my accent thickening in anger and from the need to really, really pee. Instantly he let me go and not seconds later was I in the bathroom.
***
I pulled on James' sweater over myself as I walked into the kitchen to be greeted by a warm cup of cofee.
"Thanks," I smiled at him standing there in just his boxers drinking from his own cup.
"No problem," He smiled and grabbed my presents from under the tree and pulled me onto his lap setting the cup down. Leaning back into his chest I traced patterns on his thigh as he talked, "So I got you a couple things, here." He gave me the first one which was in a big recatngular box. Untying the bow I opened it to see one of his jerseys.
"Thank you so much," I smiled up at him and gave him a quick kiss.
"You're welcome babe and here's the last one." He said giving me a much smailler box. Opening it I saw a beautiful diamond necklace gleaming back up at me a single tear shaped jewel dangling at the end.
"Wow James this is so beautiful, you shouldn't have. I didn't even get y-"
"Shhh," He quietened me and set the box aside
"Sophia you could've gotten me a Flyers jersey and it wold still mean a lot to me since it's coming from you." He smiled at me giving my neck a little kiss.
"Thank you." I said knowing that what he said was true. "Here." I handed him his present and he opened the black leather encasing to find a watch.
Smiling he said, "I love it babe." Biting my lip I leaned back into his chest and smiled at this amazing Christmas morining.
"Merry Christmas James." I said as he ran his fingers through my hair.
"Merry Christmas Sophia."
